We would gladly join if it weren't for the large amounts of imperialists that dominate the Assembly and how population governs how many representatives a nation may have, casting your mind back to the proportional representation the Weimar Germany had which enabled the Nazi Party to rise. If a list of benefits may be achieved and decolonization were to occur, then we would join but until this can be achieved we can only agree to observer status

In the Skies over Jurestist a plane radios into Lisbon International Airport(LIA) that they're having engine trouble and need to land for repairs so the LIA control tower allows them to land, but they have to allow a Transportation Security Division (TSD) Screener from the JSU on board the flight to check the passports of the passengers on the plane. The JSU TSD screener walks down the aisle checking passports and he gets to man and his passport says he's from Canada, the man asks if something is wrong and the TSD sceener radios in for a Transportation Security Officer who when he get on board checks the passport and asks the man to stand up and place his hands behind his back because he's under arrest. The man says, "You can't do this to me, I'm a Canadian Government official get your hands off me.", the man fights and the Transportation Security Officer calls for back up to help get him off of the plane and two Jurestist Marshals come on board the plane and help get him off the plane and into a waiting JSU car at the gate and they take the man into custody. While they were trying to get him off the plane a passenger recorded it with their cell phone and posted the video online and it went viral and received a lot of international press.

This will be dealt with diplomatically and resolved after four failed Canadian Government attempts to free person and another country steps in and get the issue resolved

In other news the President of the Persian Republic is headed to Tel Aviv to attend the Middle Eastern Conference. He says that lasting peace in the region is a grand and noble ideal. The Persian Republic has begun a military buildup of troops on the Indian border in response to the mass of Indian troops who arrives there earlier. The Republic has also begun construction of a wall and heavy military fortifications on its border with the Saudia Arabian empire.
