I should also like to take this opportunity to ask the international community not to allow the emergence of this new country onto the international stage to devolve into another tragedy. The particulars of your preferred socioeconomic system, and your thoughts regarding those who subscribe to alternate systems are of no great interest to me, and are secondary to the sanctity of human life.
