Resolution For The General Assembly

Resolution Name: Resolution for Free Passage to the Centismar Sea (#GA100)

Description:
NOTING That several nations whose sea coast borders the Centismar sea is blocked off by other nation states' rightful maritime claim as defined in resolution GA1.

BELIEVING That it is nonetheless the right of the aforementioned nations to have free passage to and from the high seas.

DECLARING A corridor that is 10 nautical miles wide and runs in the exact middle of the maritime borders of the nations of Pergen, Alyria, Romaleus, Magashegyi, Vukmire and Pantorrum.

RECOGNISES The right for the aforementioned nations to claim mining, fishing and other such economical rights within parts of the 5 nautical mile corridor that would be theirs according to resolution GA1.

DICTATES That the corridor, henceforth known as the Western Centismar Corridor (WCC), shall provide free passage for all nations.

CLARIFIES That the WCC shall act exactly as an Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) as dictated in resolution GA1, except when specified differently in this resolution.

FORBIDS Nations from abusing the WCC for covert and military operations (with the exception of transfer through the WCC).

Resolution For The General Assembly

Resolution Name: Sanction the United Soviet Jason Republic, Resolution 101.

Description: Despite the fact that Azovskaya ignored a USA ruling that would allow USAPKs into Konetya, the USJR continues to support Azovskaya by promising military protection.

BELIEVES that a nation within the USA should obey USA decisions.

REMINDS that the USJR has directly aided Azovskaya by promising to give naval support in the event of a blockade or other distressing situation.

ALSO REMINDS The USJR promised to keep all foreign elements from Azovakaya. Since USAPKs would be foreigners to Azovskaya, the USJR has promised to keep out USAPKs as well.

DISAPPOINTED that the USJR did not try to pressure their ally into listening to the USA. In fact, it has encouraged this behavior by continuing to support Azovakaya.

CALLS FOR the sanctioning of all wartime supplies to the USJR, including but not limited to: oil, small arms, military vehicles, medical supplies, canned foods, rubber, steel, ammunition, and water.

In the five vote discussion period the USJR would like to note that we have not disobeyed any of the USA SC Resolution 45. We have not sent any arms or support into the country, we have halted the deployment of troops to the crisis zone, we have pressured both sides of the conflict to accept the USA peacekeeping mission and have urged all parties to stop violence.

We are disappointed that the government of Rezua is spreading lies and false news, and that this false news has reached the general assembly.

We have not stopped USAPK from entering the crisis zone. Rather that decision has been made by both parties in the conflict, not the USJR.

A YEA vote for this resolution ignores all the facts and information in this situation and rather supports a unilateral action against the USJR. We urge all nations to follow through with USA SC 45 and to let this vote not reach qourm (five votes on it) or to vote nay if nations are foolish to listen to this Rezuan fake news and lies.

We would like to say to this Assembly that the Republic of Pantorrum has not declined USAPK's because we don't believe in their mission. They have been declined only after the Union refused them, and only after the Union made clear they will not be supporting if a referendum.

Might I urge the USA General Assembly and the Security Council to accept that this is no longer a disagreement about independence. The Azovskayan Union has attack our forces and have thus envoked a war. A referendum will not be held in a war zone.

Might I further state the the USJR has deployed forces in Azovskaya, supporting the Union which has denied its people a democratic government. They stand on the side of the oppressors, protecting them through back door channels and warding off any attacks against the Union by the mere presence of their army. They have threatened action against our vessels, and they have deployed fleets willing to carry out these acts. If this is not support, then what is it? Are these things not true? May no mistake, members of this Assembly, the USJR fully supports the Azovskayan Union. A Union that has spilled the blood of my people and their own without cause. For that, Pantorrum unilaterally condemns the USJR for its acts against the rights of the Azovskayan people by supporting a military dictatorship.

With this in mind, Pantorrum votes YEA to Resolution 101.

Rhodevus would like to ask the delegate from the USJR if it is true that they are still blockading the waters of Azovaskaya, stopping international ships from aiding Konetya, and if they are in fact supporting Azovaskaya, their ally in this conflict. We would also like to know if they would approve of allowing the USAPK to take over their blockade, instead of their nation, which has a clear bias in favour of Azovaskaya, their ally

Their sole objective is to obey the current USA SC 45 Resolution by preventing additional weapons, ships, planes, and troops from foreign countries not approved by the USA mission outlined in Resolution 45 of the Security Council into the country. Therefor, this is not a blockade, their objective is to prevent foreign powers from actively escalating the conflict. No missions have been launched from this fleet to affect the situation in Konetya via airstrikes, aid/weapons delivery, or reconnaissance. The fleet is there to prevent foreign nations from escalating the conflict by launching their own military operations, which would be in violation of USA Resolution 45, under the halting of additional units being deployed to the region. "Except your no fly zone was a direct effort to aid the illegitimate Azovskayan Union. You prevented us from landing additional forces, well before this USA SC resolution was approved. Your efforts have been to make sure Konetya falls to the Union. You know that without Pantorran assistance, the Federation cannot defeat Azovskaya. That is the only reason you don't want foreign intervention. I'll have you know that Pantorrum intends to defend itself when we've been bombed by Union forces. We have no regard for claims of neutrality. You've aided the Union, which is a rogue state. For that, I maintain my vote I favor of this resolution, and I strongly urge others to do the same. I hope his serves to remind the USJR that it is not above the law. I hope it serves to encourage them to withdraw their forces, all of them, from Azovskaya. I hope they decide to end their no fly zone, which has condemned our forces to death. I hope it helps them see that the Union is attacking Konetya while we sit here."

Resolution Name: Open Access to Waterways [Resolution 102]

Description:

UNDERSTANDING that some areas of Sunalaya lack multiple sources of fresh, clean drinking water

BELIEVING that access to drinkable water is a fundamental human right

HEREBY allows for the designation of rivers and lakes as Unblockable Waterways.
DEFINES Unblockable Waterways as:

• Rivers, Basins, Streams, Lakes or Ponds that cannot be blocked by dams or any other man-made construct that stops the flow of water, diverts the course of water or removes water in an unreplenishable fashion.
• Unblockable Waterways must be Rivers, Basins, Streams, Lakes or Ponds that are shared by two or more nations or cultural groups.

GRANTS NATIONS THE RIGHT TO CLAIM Unblocked Waterways if 50% or greater of the nations which share the waterway vote in favour of claiming it as an Unblocked Waterway
