A girl sat alone in her room. The chair she sat in was a wheelchair, a blanket was laid across her un-used legs. Under her eyes were dark purple circles. She stared blankly out the window as she had done since she had gotten there. The girl was a shattered figure of who she once was. "Ymira!" Sasha called. Ymira's eyes barely moved to look at Sasha. "Go away." Ymira's voice was hoarse. Sasha's concern for her friend wasn't going to be so easily shrugged off. "Ymira you've been here for nearly two weeks. You never sleep, you barely eat, you're hooked up to an IV when you have to drink. You must come with me for a trip or something. The doctors want to release you soon but you must start acting better." Ymiras head turned from the window and she hissed and said "There is nothing to get better for." Sasha walked forward and grabbed Ymira's wheelchair handles. "Hey!" Ymira screamed and tried to turn on her wheelchair's brakes but Sasha slapped her hands aside and held them with one hand and pushed Ymira along with the other. "Hey! Stop it!" Ymira shrieked. Sasha continued to push Ymira around the hospital (since Sasha is in command of Ymira's guards she told them to stand down) and stopped at a little girl's room. Inside sat a laughing little girl. "Look at that Ymira. Hey! I said look!" Sasha angrily shook Ymira's wheelchair until she looked up. "That girl was in a car accident and lost her father. She was on the verge of death. But, unlike you, she wanted to keep going and told the doctors so. There were many times they thought they'd lose her. But she held on. She said she needs to stay because her mommy needs her. Ymira, you need to continue because your country needs you. The people you care about you need you." Ymira sat quietly for a minute. Then soft sobs could be heard from her. "I'm...sorry...Sasha. I'm...so selfish..." Sasha's tone softened "It's okay Ymira. Don't worry. Just close your eyes and go to sleep. I'll wheel you back and put you in bed." However Ymira never heard Sasha. She had already fallen asleep.
