The Lost Destiny (FT, OPEN)

[The New Federation 1]

The Starfleet ships scattered, the Phalanx ran a last sensor sweep of the doomed Washington before engageing Impulse engines and speeding away from the ship. A few seconds later, the Washingtons computer allowed the anti-matter to be released, approximatly two micro-seconds later the ship exploded in a blast of light. THe Warp Core Breach let out a massivly powerful shockwave that upended the Phalanx, and swattered away the other Starfleet ships. The shockwave disappated as it got further away and the Starfleet ships began to send status reports to the Phalanx as it came about to retrieve the Washingtons 'Black-Box'.

The Dagar escaped most of the blast, but was still roughly shaken as it passed by. Fortunately they managed to stay upright, but a lot of stuff went flying across all decks. After steadying himself, the Captain called out across comms.

"Status report!"

All clear came through on all levels, and the Captain breathed a massive sigh of relief. He was lucky, but he wanted to check on the other ships so sent out a signal to the allied ships.

"Federation Fleet, how are you holding?"

USS Phalanx, Prometheus Class Federation Starship

The Armarda regrouped around the Phalanx as everything was sorted out across the fleet. Minor repair were promptly organised and the ship was restored to it's three part self as they replied to the hail.
"We're holding up fine, few bumps and brusies, but nothing else, how about you?

[Ftang]

"Good to hear. We are mostly fine, couple of ships had engines partially knocked out, but that should easily be fixed. Did Captain Sato make it off the vessel?"

Kalek had not been informed as to the situation surrounding the Captain. Major Palek had been too injured to tell him...
