Yo guys, if you want, we can do another "test" op like Necropolis, except further that specific non-canon timeline with an all out apocalypse in that city. We could be scattered too, so the city blocks are entirely up to the squad in specific locations, and meet up at say... a police station? Could work, and we wouldn't need to rely on me (or the OP) to move the storyline up.

Biography of Unit:
Spezielle Operationen Krafte was formed in 1986 following a terrorist attack on Molotovskiyan International Airport, Koenigsberg International, by a group of separatists. At the time, the only unit existed to counter such threat was the under equipped Spezielle Eingreiftruppe. Nevertheless, the unit prevailed over the separatists, albeit, the colateral damage was heavy. The incident brought attention to the bundestag, ideas came up to form a unit that specializes in counter terrorism, intelligence operations, and unconventional warfare. Then the S.O.K was formed. Since then, the unit have conducted numerous of successful missions across the globe, placing them among other renowned elite forces.

Operators are chosen from the current active military / police personnel to undergo various tests to join the S.O.K. Only 20 personnel would then be chosen from the tests to conduct further training with the S.O.K and formally join it's ranks.

So this country that Ontorisa has been intervening in for a while, Askosa, is where the operation will take place.

The civil war that has taken place has entered its fifth year of deadly fighting. While Ontorisa has stepped down its military intervention, the funding and training of the pro-democracy military group, Demokratik Askosan Cəbhəsi (Democratic Askosan Front) [DAC], which dreams of a democratic Askosan nation. Throughout the entire conflict, what prevented the joint DAC-Ontorisan forces from beating the Askosan government was the Askosan Commander-in-Chief, Brazakij Sayijit and his superhuman ability to encourage anyone from any age group or ethnicity to join the Askosan fight against the foreigners and the traitors.

However, Ontorisan intelligence has managed to locate the position of Sayijit, a remote communications base in the Askosan Olimahacas Mountain Range. Either killing or capturing Sayijit would allow the stalemate to be broken and for the DAC to launch multiple assaults against the soon-to-be weakened Askosan Respublika Ordu Korpusu (Askosan Republican Army Corps) [ARAC], the Askosan Government's military. Of course, this assault would be difficult to undertake for regular forces, so this is where Project Warfighter would come in.

It would be a combined arms operation, with local DAC forces there in case if the ARAC units in Sayijit's area were too much for the Warfighters to handle. But I plan for it to be a pretty decisive operation and for the Warfighter units to stick around long enough to complete their operation and then see the war end finally.

EDIT: Pretty sloppy atm, but I'll be able to polish up a better idea in an IC.

Dark Sun's on the right track with regard to OPFOR as GAmeTopia said, so no complaints there.

As for the long intro reliant on the OP, that wasn't so good, but it's mostly water under the bridge at this point and the RP is still alive. I'd just say to get us to a stage where we aren't relying on GAmeTopia's posts as soon as possible. I can offer advice there, if GAmeTopia wants, but I think he (GAmeTopia is a he, right?) can handle it.

Maps are completely up in the air still, and that's probably good. We don't know where we'll be holding these hostages, and I'm not even sure if our teams will choose or whether GAmeTopia will give us something. Either is fine to me as long as its detailed. Personally, I'd suggest that we just look up some detailed plans for a building online, and drop it somewhere on Google Maps (somewhere with detailed imagery and maybe streetview). That gives the hostage-holding people a way to very clearly set up traps, barricades and such, and the rescue teams can very clearly state how they are approaching the building, where they are sniping from, what their recon drones are doing, etc.

I think the best way to get the action going quickly would be to ask all the new people to post on what their teams are doing, then the experienced teams divide up the targets targets based on whatever intel they have, and everyone heads off to grab a prisoner. If we have surplus experienced teams, we let the rest either act as support in the more difficult hostage captures or they head to the location where we'll hold the hostages and begin fortifying it. If we have surplus new people, then some of the experienced teams will take more than one target.

My region is literally only 7 active people arguing with eachother on skype all the time. Only like, 4 of us managed to make a successful alliance and there's so much infighting, both OOC and IC.
