No, you're fine. Just use a long name designation if you're making up your own designations, like my app. Instead of saying R21, say R21 Assault Rifle so we know what it is. You can give a RL version of the weapon if you so wish as well. That helps.

For example, there is a plethora of words you could use instead of 'shouted'. 'Bellowed' perhaps, 'barked' or 'boomed'. You should also incorporate literary embellishments such as alliteration, like I just did back there.

Name of Outfit: Operational Detachment-Alpha 341

Detailed Outfit Loadout: ODA 341 is equipped with (but not always):

• GAC-84(CS)

• Light version of the IOTV when engaging in known combat situations
• Logistics as required by operations

Appearance/Description of Operator:
Standard Reserve Dress

Biography of Outfit: The men of the commandos of the L-SOG-Com are among the highest trained personnel in the Lourasian military. Trained in multiple mission types, these men operate behind the lines with the highest level of discretion and secrecy. The L-SOG-Com is divided into battalion strength units that in turn command company sized groups, each with its own set of teams.

ODA 341 is potentially the most secretive and best trained of all the A-teams. The first team of the 4th Company, 3rd Battalion, the group is specially trained in infiltration and insurgent training. Very lightly armed and armoured and preferring plains clothes to uniforms, they are the pathfinders for other ODAs, setting up sympathetic cells and clearing opposition from enemy agents. They do not engage enemy troops except in extreme circumstances. The 341 A-team members can call on support from all units of the armed forces, should they be required, but prefer to operate independent of other units most of the time. They have achieved a success rate unheard of in other battalions; only a handful of missions have ever been failed, many only just. It is unknown how many men have served in the long standing A-team.

ODA 341 traces its roots right back to the Lourasian civil war, when, on orders from then President Dubois, they infiltrated key areas behind rebel lines and began seeding dissent within the rebellion from the inside out. The overthrow of the rebel junta by pro-government forces was, secretly, due to the actions of ODA 341. They were thus awarded, in secret, recognition as a Decorated Unit, whose unit number would not be retired and would remain active for however long the L-SOG-Com stayed active.

It's kind of a puppet made for the sole purpose of a fresh start. I didn't make it solely for this thread, but I saw the thread and thought it might give me a good start.

I've operated under the name Clamparapa for 10.5 years off and on. Want a fresh start in MT with something new and smaller and more consistent.
