I had one of the Osprey swing around. It's plausible. If people want to boo-boo me for using a support asset, too bad. But I don't see this as a unit that would just let an operator bleed out with no support in place.

Boo boo. But not for using a support asset. See, Locke is the only one who can call in support like that, and even then we have to get rid of the AA. The last part of your post isn't the case. Rather, it's "Do we want to send out a very valuable resource to a battlefield with a high chance of it, and the people inside of it, getting shot down and killed?"

Whoever you have designated as the only person able to call in medevacs should have either been ready with a post one way or another. If someone has that much clout, they should be active. I think that sounds more like part of an old boys club, like one where someone is allowed to shoot another nation's operators with a shotgun and get away with it.

I'm not into that. I added to the story. Someone called it in, whichever character approved it somewhere. The ADA didn't come into play one way or another.

PMCs care about their operatives. Shit's expensive if they lose operatives, just saying. Those are quality members that you're losing, plus equipment and so forth if it's a lost fight. It's a complicated process for PMC operatives, so they try to not get their operatives get killed because shit's a ton of paperwork, condolences and payment coverage (I think it's a 6 month economic coverage of ~$12,000, which is ridiculous. Think of it as an unemployment payment.)

The term you're looking for is mercenary levels worth of care for its members. Mercenaries don't give a shit about their brothers-in-arms, just the payment.

Jolly should have been the one to call it in, though he's on the ground at the bottom of the dam, and ICly, he wouldn't be excessively upset that someone did the right thing as long as the area is secured, which you and Don most definitely secured it, so Jolly would be cool with it.

OOCly, I'm fine with you doing it. I was going to in my conglomerate post, but I was waiting for Cong to post so I could add that reply in as well. I may have to move the Dam-side along, though without mentioning Baku in my next post, since the Dam is obviously going faster and has neared its closing.

Ok so there's no issue then. I would not have brought a helo in if there was ADA. I did it after the two posts were confirmed clearing it and the dam was even cleared OOC. Just figured since URA and NEC both said something about being away I'd carry that plot along with the casevac.
