I'm a goddamn force of nature when I get pumped for something. Like doing both of those apps for Arbalest in a few hours because I wanted a new Aiden McClellan and a guy who wants to win.

The image in my head was of a guy at the top of the class and doing great, then one screwup and BAM, he's punching walls and shit. "I will... be the best..." he mutters, trying to keep the tears from falling. Emotional, the feels.

Yeah, it wasn't perhaps my best piece of Roleplay, but it's one of the more diverse war RPs. If you want better flowing I can show you my character RP content, but that lacks military background.

The shadows specialise in urban and forest warfare, hence need weapons with good short range power, in order to clear rooms, fens and or foxholes. Therefore the shotgun has it's uses in the squad.

Shotguns are not usedenough as you think they are, or even enough for them to be used as a primary. They are used these days purely for opening doors or for fun. Room clearing is much more precise and safe with regular firearms like an M4. In reality though, when there's a requirement to clear a room without there being civilians, they just use nades.

Its a waste of time, effort, training and carry weight for a shotgun to be used as a primary. Most squads will have one as an under barrel or on thier back.

Ok, I'll keep the shotgun on his back as a secondary. What do you suggest I use as a primary? Considering this guy is quite large and aggressive...?

Nothing special. Whatever the majority of your guys are carrying would be good. You want to be able to share your supplie as efficiently as possible if the worst happens.

NOTE:

Loyalist troops are the good guys. Please do not shoot the Loyalists. They are loyal to the Ahtroupian President and assisting Task Force Atlas in what little ways they can. As in not much at all.

Revolutionary Troops are the enemy troops under command of el generalissimo.

As far as the term "rebel" goes, it can be argued either way, so make sure you mention one of the other established terms.

Technically, a Loyalist is a rebel insofar as the current standing gov't of Ahtroupia is the junta of the General's Revolutionary forces.

Technically, a Revolutionary is a rebel insofar as the President is in exile and the Presidency is disputed and the Revolutionaries are in the process of overthrowing the gov't.
