I guess I'll change it to a AK-12, Zovorossia doesn't really use unified sets of equipment though because that would be a bigger logistical nightmare, equipping the entire military with one rifle.

That's actually not how logistics works. Sure you get the big hump trying to rectify the matter of equipping everyone the same, but then you notice that every rifle uses the same ammunition, has the same spare parts, and everyone knows exactly how it works. It streamlines it entirely and is way easier on the supply line than you would think.

You could be like Russia and use AK-74Ms, AN-94s, and AK-12s, and that would work because they're all weapons based off the same platform and use the same cartridge. It makes logistics really easy compared to using 5.56 NATO mixing with PACT 5.45 rounds.

With today's technology, and not too far in the future(10-20 years), physical impairments like that won't be such a hindrance. Mental disorders, however, are a big nope-nope. Short of a lobotomy, there's no forseeable future to fully cure things like PTSD and suicidal tendencies. Besides, one of my characters was probably going to become a prosthetic advertisement pretty soon...

DEN/Mon: ICly, my country makes good robotics, so yeah, prosthetics. OOCly, a prosthetic currently is a fast-track to either discharging a soldier or at the very least taking him off combat status(moved to chair force), due to the durability and flexibility of newer prosthetics, it's expected that, as stated, withing 20 or so years, they won't cause a hindrance to injured troops.

Ukraine/DEN: Magnesium armor...? Do... No. Bad idea. I don't care how light it is.... Actually, "light" is the issue. It's very light. Just wait until you get to close to an open flame, you'll get real fucking light.

Logistics: There's a reason my team, and my entire military has rifles that can chamber 5.56 NATO rounds. Sure, my pistols, SMG, and both sniper rifles all use different rounds. But, hell, even my minigun can interchange 7.62 rounds with one of my rifles and my LMG if needed.

And I'm a PFC, so my life is on the line whenever I visit the supply NCO to ask about a part, ya' know? It only gets more dangerous whenever the Army decides they want something new in the inventory. There's some self-preservation sentiment in my statement regarding training.

They are trained with AK-12s. Most northwestern units just don't actually use that training since special forces in Zovorossia have more freedom in selecting weapons than standard soldiers.

Because someone needs to carry a weapon with a bit heavier punch, and a 417 is a lot easier to carry than a SAW, even though the SAW has interchangeable ammunition.

I'm still... Hesitant on the fact that the Javelin or RPG is in your loadout. But since you've cleared up that it's an as-needed piece of equipment and not standard, I'll refrain from complaining. Besides, looking at some of the things I've accepted, a guy who acts as a platoon AT/AA guy isn't an issue....

However, your lack of RP experience is an issue, and I will not accept you otherwise. If you have no posts to show and no one to vouch for you, then you can always write an example post here for us to see, and that can fill for your RP experience.
