You will learn that PW operates very closely to the American military insofar that whatever timelines we set are usually very optimistic and we always go over time.

I'll be reviewing Hayes and Dutchie, now. And I'm interested in Hayes developing his idea. I may authorize it running simultaneously to Banished Throne as a trial run for dual missions(Bar and Grill is a "post when you're waiting in the mission" thread, so it doesn't count).

The next RP is pretty much outlined in the link provided on the OP, however, if you have any ideas or anything, they'd go in the Worldbuilding thread or here, depending on it's relevance.

Well, the idea in Banished Throne is that the nation in question was taken over in a coup. The nation had a kind of deal worked out with Task Force Atlas, where there was a base that TFA used in the nation. The new dictator and his regime don't like that idea since it's international snooping, so they move on the base.

Your unit may be on the base on a rotational training assignment(something that would happen when not deployed) or you may be moved in as reinforcements of who's already present at the beginning of the mess, since Task Force Atlas would be moving troops into the area when the coup starts, but they wouldn't do much else besides wait and watch until they're attacked.

ICly, since this would be a TF Atlas base being attacked in what was originally an allied nation, and this is followed by basically a revenge assault against the regime, it'd be an "all hands on deck" idea.

Alright, URA, I'm going to get to work on a draft for the OP. I'll TG you the draft when I'm done. I'm not very good at doing the non-story related introduction stuff, so I was wondering if you could cover that part. I'm largely leaving the background information alone, though I will add some IC stuff in to flesh out the opening. I might throw in some news reporting about the coup or something like that also. I'll try to leave it as open ended as I can as far as allowing anyone who wants to participate to jump in relatively early on. Of course, more people will be able to jump in as part of the relief force later on. Well, wish me luck.
