He turned away from the sea, wearing the traditional uniform of a young commander; a piano black jumpsuit with the Imperial Arms on its breast. His black hair waved in the wind, his two dark brown eyes beginning to focus on the small island ahead of him; the Tusrana Island, part of the Omicrena island chain, the new colony of Susasa. The sailors and pilots began cheering, small celebrations even being heard from the two Aushalo-class frigates and three Mushako-class cruisers behind them, along with two battalion of army soldiers on a converted cargo ship whom would be there to scout the mythical islands out, which, according to some religious scholars, featured as the ‘mysterious islands of the west’ from which the goddess of children, Vushaka, was conceived. The polytheistic religion of Aurhism was the official state religion, after all, and the Lishnui was the holy book of Aurhism, like the Bible was to those idiotic Christians. There existed only one religion, and that was Auhrism.
Kenzi quietly left the deck of the Kvusha, and went straight to the Operations Room, mainly to check on the radar. The consequences of failure on Operation Mysterious West would forever blight his naval career, like stating that homosexuals were evil was suicide for any of the politicians in the country; the Lishnui preached ‘equality between all’, as it stated at least thrice in every book. The Crown Prince stared at the radar long and hard; the only ships in sight were the vessels of the Imperial Susasan Navy. He smiled, and wondered what would be discovered on these islands; in most ancient times, it was believed by scientists that the Omicrenas had split off from Susasa before humans walked the planet. While Kenzi believed in the religious answer – in a battle between the King of the Gods whom shall not be named and the Goddess of Evil, the King of the Gods whom shall not be named tore huge chunks of land out of the Susasa landmass as the Goddess of Evil retreated back to the Underworld, thus the Omicrenas. Either way, Kenzi knew that colonising the islands would truly united the Empire, which would be, quite frankly, a gargantuan propaganda tool for use by his jingoistic sister, especially considering he was leading the forces.
He felt the ship come to a sudden stop. They were here. Tusrana was now a colony of the Empire. He practically sprinted from Operations, making him the first commander ever to do so in the Imperial Susasan Navy, despite its age. The sailors were cheering, while the smarter ones were getting into the ATVs awaiting them – Amphibious Transport Carriers, the Susasan copy of the AAV – in the sea below, in a race to become the first human to set foot on the Omnicrenas. He would join in that race, and climbed down on the rope with the rest of the troops, straight into one of the ATVs which had came straight from the army transport ship, in which he was handed a Ishuva assault rifle – the Imperial copy of the Galil AR – and ordered to sit down in one of the seats by the army colonel, which he did without complaint. His heart was beginning to race, for this was the first ATV which would mean he would be the first man to land upon the Holy Islands, but he ordered it to calm down. Excitement was for the weak, calmness was for the strong, as went the ancient Auhrist proverb. As the ATV began on its trek to the island, he joined in a long prayer to the King of the Gods whom shall not be named with the sailors in the vessel, reciting it with patience.
As soon as they finished it, the vehicle stopped. The doors opened into a tropical paradise. “We are blessed by the Gods, my companions!”
The twenty-four sailors, armed with Ishuvas, followed their commander into the blazing sunlight of the paradise of the Omicrenas. It appeared to be uninhabited. Kenzi, with nine of the sailors whom were trained in the Ishuva. Their katanas, like Kenzi’s were sheathed, for now. The trees were tall, and bore many exotic fruits Kenzi had never encountered before. The island was small, only a few miles in permiter, but-
His thoughts were interrupted by a loud grunt. “Did any of you-“
Suddenly, from one of the trees, a gorilla-like creature jumped out at him and threw the commander on the ground. For a moment, Kenzi felt that he was dead. However, that feeling didn’t last, for Kenzi unsheathed his katana, punched the gorilla creature with his free hand, throwing it off Kenzi’s slim body. The creature cowered as Kenzi grabbed his throat and launched the blade into his eye, blood splattering all over the Crown Prince. He retrieved the katana, letting the body slump over.
He turned behind him. The sailors were frozen in shock, and one of the ‘runts’ – as the new recruits were know as – had fainted. “Take the runt back to the ship, Unzul-shun and Viska-shan. The rest of you, stay close. There might be more of those creatures on the island.”
The rest of the sailors hung their rifles over their shoulder, instead bringing out their katana blades to chop through the tropical forests, behind the Crown Prince, of course. After an hour or so of mindless cutting, Kenzi spotted smoke from a fire just north-east of them. “More of them.”
The troops slowly went through the bush without a sound, as a wide collection of grunts and other tribal noises became louder. That was whenever Kenzi came to one conclusion. They are devils. They are the children of the Goddess of Evil. The ancient lore was true. Devils resided on this land. And thus, they would have to be banished from the Earth through one way; bloodshed.
“For the Empire!”
Kenzi and the sailors jumped out of the bush and charged towards the ‘devils’, katanas in hand. The more masculine figures among them started through stones at the sailors, but it was no use. Kenzi sliced one in half, a smaller creature into four pieces with two swipes of his sword, blood and guts splattering everywhere. The creatures, after three quarters of them lay dead, started retreating. “Finish the demons off with your Ishuvas!” The campfire the creatures had huddled around went out at the mention of the Ishuva. The sailors opened fire on the retreating creatures, as they ran blindly through the bushes, slaughtering them all with weapons they had never encountered beforehand.
“We must depart this isle and inform the Imperial Defence Authorities about these demons,” spoke Kenzi, sheathing his bloody katana. “Only the Gods know what curses these islands will bring to us all, but these devils must leave our world.”

Exploration of Omichera Islands confirm that 'devils' reside on the island; Imperial Defence Authorities announce the beginning of a 'cleansing of a Omichera Islands'
Language: [Chinese] [English] [Japanese]
Navy-led exploration of the Omichera Islands, which religious scholars allege are the 'mysterious islands to the west' references to innumerable times in the Lishnui, had confirmed suspicions that 'devil creatures' reside on the island in vast numbers, following Operation Mysterious West. The twenty-four island paradises of the Omicheras, which are believed to bear 'exotic fruit never before seen' and animals 'thought extinct', have been subject to heavy interest from the Imperial Defence Authorities, viewing it as both a religious holy land and a 'possible base near the Americas' for Imperial operations, and, after long debate, the flagship of the Imperial Susasan Navy, the Kvusha, commanded by Crown Prince - or 'Commander' - Kenzi, the envy of all young women in the Empire, was sent to scout out the islands with her escorts and two battalions of brave soldiers from our Army, Kenzi filing a full report on his experiences in the first island investigated, Tusrana , including a near death at the hands of one of the gorilla-like demons and a ransacking of one of the creatures' camps.
The Omicheras may also contain vital resources. Oil exploration near the islands pre-investigation confirms that much oil may be burrowed beneath the islands, and the naval reports refer to 'gargantuan caves' which possibly contained gold and silver. Cynics are mindlessly stating that 'these are the reasons for the Imperial investigation of the islands', but these are obviously false claims aimed at destabilizing Alesanda's reign. Scientists are stating that the demons may be 'some frozen form of pre-historic man', but all believers know that they are demons, and should be slaughtered and banished from our planet.
The Empire has laid a claim on the islands, and three battalions are being prepared to assault the islands and ‘cleanse it of evil’.
