[Moorwhyne]

The super ship "MNS Moorwhyneic fury" Has been completed behind schedule. This monster of a ship envy's all other ships built by Moorwhyne previously, and could even stand up to a small fleet of destroyers successfully. Built in the way of old this behemoth is not so much a ship as a floating fortress, having a heavy focus on armor and not firepower or speed. It has a huge flat deck with gun towers rather then turrets and gun batteries. the flat deck can and has been used as a successful launching point for up to 20 fighter planes and 8 bombers. along with the various guns of smaller caliber on its towers the crowning achievement of this boat is the devastating main cannon, A 51 metric ton, 12 inch behemoth gun. It has a humongous range of 16,000 meters, and can knock out smaller ships with one round.

this ship weighing a wopping 25 thousand tons is now being called the diamond of Moorwhyne, prime minister of naval services earlier today called it the "unsinkable ship".

OOC: I did take the stats from a 1919 ship and make it a little less advanced to fit a 1917 ship, along with adding the aircraft carrier ability.

Following the recent breakthroughs in telecommunications, the Premier Congress of Vahn has announced plans to establish infrastructure for radio communication across Vahn.

The Congress has also announced the early completion of the Five-Year Plan. All proposed geothermal power stations, railroads, roads, and fortifications have been completed. The upkeep for this infrastructure is well within acceptable range. The production of warships and tanks will soon come to completion. Production of aircraft will continue at current rates.

The new Somali cord is being trained and equipped. It will have the same capabilities as the Marine cord, however their training will focus more on land based infantry tactics and not on marine landing or naval operations.


The cord is expected to be at 450,000 strong by the end of the year.

The nation of Bolivia has been annexed by Pasture to "protect the oppressed people of Pasture who had emigrated there".

Flashback, January, 1916, Vladimir Lenin's Execution

Vladimir Tula watched the crowd of thousands of people who had gathered to watch a man many of them despised with all their hearts be hung today. Vladimir's heart raced in anticipation yet he retained his composure as he watched the police truck stop by the gallows specially made in Tula's city square for Vladimir Lenin's execution. The man who had minutes to live was escorted to his noose to the sound of the crowd throwing insults at the once prideful Communist Revolutionary. However Lenin shrugged it off as he walked towards death without a moment of hesitation and with strong strides.

Once at his noose Vladimir approached Lenin and asked "Any last words?"

Lenin just gave Vladimir a cold glare in reply.

"Very well." Vladimir replied before stepping away to let the executioner firmly position the noose around Lenin's neck.

Once the executioner finished his job Vladimir began a quick speech to the crowd in his loudest voice "Vladimir Lenin stands here today as a traitor to the Confederacy of Independent States of Tula, and as a madman who ordered the murders of both civilians and his own troops without regard for proper law or justification! We cannot right the wrongs that Vladimir Lenin has committed against our nation and our people, but today, today we make him pay for his crimes!"

And with that Vladimir Tula turned to watch as Lenin looked out at the crowd for the last time before the executioner pulled the lever and the trapdoor Lenin stood on gave way, he fell down, and died swiftly as the noose broke his neck as intended. The gathered crowd cheered at the sight of the dead revolutionary, Vladimir Tula just sighed, that was one Communist down...but there were many more in the shadows, despite the mass murders of suspected Bolsheviks in Tula that had only just started to ebb.

Present Day, Outside The Tula Executive Building

Vladimir Tula was just exiting the Executive Building on a cold January day and walking down the large marble steps to the car waiting for him at the bottom when he stopped halfway down and noticed an aging woman approaching him, the blond haired, blue eyed woman looked older and much more tired then the last time he'd seen her but still Vladimir Tula recognized his own mother who took uneasy steps towards her son.

"M-mother! I-is that you?" Vladimir asked as he stumbled over his words at the sight of his long lost mother who'd fled with Vladimir's two sisters during his revolution.

"It's me my little Volk." Yuliya Tula greeted with a tired smile.

Vladimir quickly made his way over to his mother and stopped just a meter away before he put down his briefcase and hugged his mother as he said "Mother, where have you been? I have missed you and my sisters so much ever since that bloody affair forced you away."

However as his mother awkwardly hugged her son back Vladimir noticed a glint from an open window across the street from behind his mother, it took a moment to remember from his military days but Vladimir recognized the glint as that from a scope.

"Mother...don't worry...but there's a sniper in a building across the street."

"I know...listen to me carefully Volk. They have your sister Alexandria, but I think Svetlana is still safe, she's in the Vaelgracht Empire's cap-" Yuliya was interrupted as a flash erupted in the window and a bullet raced forward missing Vladimir by centimeters and collapsing half of his mother's head as it entered through the back and out through her right cheekbone.

Vladimir's face was covered in blood as he held up the body of his now deceased mother and stared horrified at her half destroyed face. Vladimir ignored the screams of several people as three men approached the steps with revolvers out and aimed towards Vladimir as they prepared to kill off the man they had been ordered to kill by their commander...Joseph Stalin. However before they could two Tulan soldiers ran out of the Executive Building and fired at the three men, killing two immediately with their rifles before one of the soldiers collapsed from a round from the sniper across the street. The last man with a revolver took aim at Vladimir and fired, the bullet grazed the side of Vladimir's head and finally brought Vladimir back to reality as he watched several more Tulan soldiers exit the Executive Building and cut the shooter down. One of the soldiers then rushed to Vladimir to check on him but the sniper fired and he flopped back onto the stairs.

Going into action Vladimir ignored the blood pouring down the right side of his head and rushed for the fallen soldier's rifle. Grabbing it Vladimir took aim at the glint of the scope and fired, the glint disappeared and Vladimir loaded another round before waiting to see if the glint returned. It did and Vladimir fired again, the remaining Tulan soldiers joined in and soon the window and the area around it became littered with bullets as they suppressed the sniper. However it soon became apparent that either the sniper was dead or had fled as no glint reappeared. A few quick acting soldiers then immediately forced Vladimir back inside before calling for medical attention.

Tulan Times Article:

An assassination attempt on Executive Vladimir Tula failed yesterday but claimed the lives of two Tulan soldiers who died protecting Vladimir from an apparent Communist attack. A single civilian was killed in the brief firefight by Tula's Executive Building, however the Confederate government has thus far kept the identity of the dead civilian a secret to all news sources, furthermore it is reported that all the attempted assassins were killed in the firefight. All across Tula similar situations occurred where Communist guerillas assaulted dozens of government buildings and achieved only minor deaths to soldiers and civilians alike.

Joseph Stalin looked at the young girl tied to a chair in front of him. She'd been his prisoner for two years now, and now she was the only Tula still in his control as he mother was reported dead by one of his agents watching the botched assassination attempt. Still Joseph smiled, he had the upper hand in the coming revolution, this time though he'd be successful where Lenin had failed.

Present Day, Vladimir Tula's Estate

"Sir...I'm sorry to bother you while you're still mourning but...a dispatch threatening war just arrived from King Azhar Ajba I. The Senate and Executive Council have voted...we've chosen war and you are now the Commander In Chief of our military forces Sir." A soldier announced as he handed Vladimir Tula a copy of the dispatch and the declaration of war.

Vladimir looked up from a photograph in his hand at the man and nodded before replying "Very well. Get Arisha Sadko on the line, she is to lead the defense."

Looking back down at the photograph of his recently deceased mother Vladimir buried his emotions as he'd done many times during his revolution and got up to go the his office in the Executive building once more.

Leonardo stood in front of a decrepid gate, that had a road that lead up to what once was his home, his child hood home, oh so many years ago. unlike the Emperors house, this was not torn down, mostly because vladimir didn't hate the CIS as wilhelm senior did. leonardo took a dep breath, he could see it through the frosty air, as the snow lightly dropped through the air to the ground. he stood there a moment, before walking up to the gate, he hadn't been here in over 14 years.

leonardo approached the gate, the lock looked old, as vines begane to grow on them, somehow protcted from the russian winter. he reached behind the gate and fingled with it until there was a click, and the gate opened. leonardo stood there a moment, the house looked so lifeless from what he remembered in his childhood years. he put his hands in th poickets of his trenchcoa and walked silently to the front door. he approachd the door but before he touched the door knob he looked over to his right, a swing set, that he used to seing on as a child. he could remember it as if it were yesterday,

leonardo watched as his father, a much older Leonardo III, pushed a 6 year old leonardo on the swing set on the seing set as a child.

Leonardo loved his swing set, his father built it himself. "leonardo" his father said while pushing him on the swing "do you know the scandinavian states and its neighbors are thinking of forming together", "really father?". "hehe, yes son, and your father might be it's administrator, he might run everything from the atlantic to the russian empire!". "wow father, Can i Bcome the leader too?", "sure sone sure you can.

leonardo looked around him, not sure as to what happened. the swing set was rusted and bent, abandond long ago and bing covred with the snow. leonardo shook his head, and entered the house....
