Salvador continued to drum his fingers as the Tarazedian officials delivered their response. His smile became less tense as Lance went on. As noncommittal as the answer was, it was better than being thrown out in disgrace. He waited for the diplomats to finish doing what diplomats do best and interjected when he saw the chance.
"Very well. Whatever help you can provide is well appreciated. We shall take you up on that offer of diplomatic assistance."
Salvador begins to drum his fingers at an new tempo.
"May we make use of your telegraph lines to deliver this information to the rest of Pasture? I'm sure the president and his aids would like to know about this as soon as possible."
"Feel free to," Lance smiled as he gestured towards a morse communicator at the back of the room, "The morse should already be hooked up."

To Rajahdesu
The Trade Ministry of Moorwhyne would be more then happy to accept your agreement. However due to our quite dire and precarious situation, we would require your ships to pay our tariffs. We charge 12% on all that your merchants make from lumber and metal works (Sales and profits). We must enact this tariff on all Non-G&S Merchant ships to retain our supplies for rebuilding.

"Following the annexation of Siam earlier this year, King Rama VI of Siam had fled to the neighboring state of Burma. The dictator of Burma has refused to expedite the monarch, and has even voiced his condemnation of the annexation. Until very recently, these condemnations were merely empty words. None the less, troop mobilizations have been in effect for the past several weeks; and the Rajahdesi fleet has been seen passing through the Singapore Strait, presumably towards the Andaman Sea. The Rajah has declined to comment on the buildup of troops along the borders of Burma."
