Earlier today in a very controversial move. Garen Brunhile the prime minister of Moorwhyne forcefully annexed the people of the United Arab Emirates. His only explanation for this aggressive move was in the speech he gave following the Annexation.

"We mustn't let our recent war hold us back. If nothing more this is to prove that the proud nation of Moorwhyne is still alive and kicking."

This was a response to one of our reporters asking him the question repeatedly. Wither Mr. Brunhile actually intended to divulge information about the annexation in the speech is still unknown.

Fortification of Mauritius and Reunion

Postby Vahn » Mon Jan 05, 2015 3:42 pm

The Vahnite Department of Territorial defense has commenced the construction of military bases on the islands of Reunion and Mauritius. These structures will serve to house Vahnite garrisons and act as bases of operation for the Vahnite Foreign Intervention Fleet, which is currently being utilized as an anti-piracy force in waters crucial to G&S Pact shipping. The construction is expected to finish by early 1918.

That will be all.

Salvador continued to drum his fingers as the Tarazedian officials delivered their response. His smile became less tense as Lance went on. As noncommittal as the answer was, it was better than being thrown out in disgrace. He waited for the diplomats to finish doing what diplomats do best and interjected when he saw the chance.

"Very well. Whatever help you can provide is well appreciated. We shall take you up on that offer of diplomatic assistance."

Salvador begins to drum his fingers at an new tempo.

"May we make use of your telegraph lines to deliver this information to the rest of Pasture? I'm sure the president and his aids would like to know about this as soon as possible."

"Feel free to," Lance smiled as he gestured towards a morse communicator at the back of the room, "The morse should already be hooked up."

Once the message had been relayed to Pasture and responded to with approval, Salvador shook hands with Lance to seal the agreement. It wasn't necessarily a formal agreement, but it was something.

Annexation of Guatemala

Postby Scotatrova » Mon Jan 05, 2015 3:53 pm

Troops have quickly began to pour into Guatemala from order the nation to secure its border. This has led to the annexation of Guatemala. It went fast with no problem as there was little to no power to fight the Scotatrovian military.

Today marks a new beginning for the peoples of the Empire. In an announcement today the Emperor of Vaelgracht, His Majesty Mikhail I, has declared the creation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Vaelgracht and the Vaelgracht Federal Council as well as the Chancellorship after months of planning. A new constitution, the Act of Unity, has been created. The first Chancellor of the Empire, elected by universal suffrage like all members of the Assembly and Council, is Tibor Rubin. This new form of government, which draws inspiration from the Prussian government system, is intended to lead to a long-awaited and completely democratic future government of Vaelgracht.

To Rajahdesu

The Trade Ministry of Moorwhyne would be more then happy to accept your agreement. However due to our quite dire and precarious situation, we would require your ships to pay our tariffs. We charge 12% on all that your merchants make from lumber and metal works (Sales and profits). We must enact this tariff on all Non-G&S Merchant ships to retain our supplies for rebuilding.

[CIS national announcement]

the Boer exiles who had fleed from their original held state of zimbabwe have joined ranks with the Fascist order currently atacking th CIS. they have publicaly signed a treaty and have announced this to the CIS. this now poses a danger to the CIS but the boers have no more than 75,000 men and the CIS currently have around 5 million stationed in it's borders. the CIS, since the atack on the emperors building, has increased watch and is now rooting out the fascist order's hideouts within the CIS.

Var Stal has announced he is leading the army and says he has "a million more men and women from africa to fight for the norwegian fascist state. we will send waves and waves of people at the CIS and erode them likw waves on the coast.". the CIS says they will fight to help zimbabwe but if the Fascists have an overwhelming force they will have to call in reinforcements.

Vahnite Radio

Postby Vahn » Mon Jan 05, 2015 11:13 pm

Premier-Forseti Vahl has made a public announcement regarding the completion of the planned radio communications infrastructure. With the infrastructure in place, the Democratic States of Vahn can now fully reap the benefits of radio communication!

Furthermore, while the previous (far less extensive) radio communication network had previously been available only to the state for the purposes for military coordination and the dissemination of emergency information, the new radio network is available to private citizens and enterprises who purchase the necessary license.

This new method of communication will bind the states of Vahn more tightly together and promote the values that this nation is founded upon.

OOC: My announcements will be in radio format now, unless the target nation clearly lacks the necessary technology to receive radio communications.

the war has taken a desperate stand still with the fascist contolling a large western part of he country,

battle of masvingo: the batle insued when a force of 50,000 fascist soldiers tried to take the town of masvingo from CIS control. the CIS with a force of 25,000 foritfied the town and held out against the fascist soldiers first charge. the fascist then set up an artillery row and bombarded the town forcing the CIS to scramble to save civlians and wounded. after the bombardment the CIS were forced to pull out of th town dur to overwhelming opposition. Fascist victory.

battle of chinhoyi: the facsist tried to push to the northern town of chinhoyi which had been converted into a large military garrison. the Facsist charged at the city but were repelled by superior CIS firepower and man power, when the CIS responded by flanking the facsist with tanks, they fleed. Rajahdesu wrote:Excerpts from Rajahdesi news publications

"Following the annexation of Siam earlier this year, King Rama VI of Siam had fled to the neighboring state of Burma. The dictator of Burma has refused to expedite the monarch, and has even voiced his condemnation of the annexation. Until very recently, these condemnations were merely empty words. None the less, troop mobilizations have been in effect for the past several weeks; and the Rajahdesi fleet has been seen passing through the Singapore Strait, presumably towards the Andaman Sea. The Rajah has declined to comment on the buildup of troops along the borders of Burma."

Earlier this week, at a speech at the close of ceremony marking formation of the third Rajahdesi High Council, the Rajah announced that Rajahdesu has begun hostilities towards Myanmar, following an attack on Rajahdesi forces stationed near the town of Myawaddy. The skirmish escalated into a full fledged battle over the town. Shortly after the conflict began, Rajahdesi troops along the Burmese border received the order to advance.

The Burmese military, temporarily caught off guard, faltered enough for Rajahdesi infantry to overrun the defense lines near the border, allowing the Rajahdesi army to sweep into southern Myanmar. The Rajahdesi army currently occupies Burmese territory south of the mouth of the Sittang River, with the exception of the cites of Myeik and Mawlamyine. The majority of the Rajahdesi military force in Myanmar is currently preparing to advance further.

The Rajahdesi naval force stationed near the mouth of the Irrawaddy River has established a naval blockade of Myanmar. A small fleet of gunboats and patrol vessels has been dispatched to scout the river.

Further developments in the war with Myanmar will be released as they are reported from the front.

Tarazedian Annexation of Papa New Guinea

Postby Tarazed » Tue Jan 06, 2015 4:44 pm

Following a series of back room deals, the nation of Papa New Guinea has announced that the Tarazedian government had successfully put forward a pledge of annexation. The local government stated that they would be lowering their flag tomorrow and would hoist the Tarazedian colours above their parliament shortly before Tarazedian forces arrived to conclude the handing over of land. It is unclear whether nationals of this newly incorporated state will be eligible to vote in next month's Presidential Elections but President Oswald insisted that every possible measure would be taken to incorporate citizens of New Guinea into the Tarazedian democratic process. Oswald's approval rating has fallen again to 40% after a survey conducted following the news of the annexation - prompting speculation that Anthony Howard may succeed him as President following the elections next month.
