he lifted her up and supported her with his one good shoulder and started to move from the door way. he moved them into the dinning room where he flipped up the buste of his father and hit the panic button. help would be on it's way. he heard the fascists enter the doorway and quickly and painfully moved to the back room. he looked around and muttered where the hell's marius, i hope he didn't perish. he heard the men enter the dinning room and quickly moved up the back stairwell. while he climbed the stair he tried to keep the captain concious stay with me captain, i haven't carried you this far for you to die on me. she mutered we....need to call the iron confderates. leonardo finally reached the top of the sairwell when he heard, HE"S GONE UP THE STAIRWELL, GET HIM.

The newsreels throughout the Vaelgracht Empire were plastered with such slogans, announcing the taking of the capital and the victory over the Loyalist forces of János Irinyi. Final offensives in the capital of Çelmarin involving massed infantry charges and tanks resulted in substantial casualties but these were mostly overshadowed by the joys of victory. Praise and glory has been dealt out in equal measure and is well deserved. Special attention is merited to the valour of the Austrian artillery gunners who thoroughly devastated enemy lines in the capital and allowed their allies to storm the headquarters of the tyrant himself. Details of this action are withheld in respect for any security concerns among G&S Pact military forces. The skill of Italian light infantry and marksmen, as well as the victories of French and Hungarian troops and engineers are no-less deserving of praise. Hungarian, Austrian, French, Italian, Czech, Croatian, Serbian, and Vaelian troops all served with honour alongside each other to attain victory. The Emperor personally thanks all troops who served for their bravery and sacrifice. General Kutkh Jurvael, commander of Imperial forces throughout the conflict, has been hailed as a national hero.

The Vaelgracht Empire has also given great praise to her allies for their immense cooperative actions with the true government of Moorwhyne, led by the indomitable Garen Brunhile, and their sacrifice and valour in what is being hailed as the first joint warfare operation by the forces of the Glory and Steel Pact. They have expressed a hope that member nations will continue to demonstrate their willingness to fight for honourable causes and support their allies in their times of need. The skill of Ismeili, CIS, Vahnite, and Moorwhyneic military forces is astounding and has more than earned their recognition from the Vaelgracht government.

Imperial forces will begin to withdraw from Moorwhyneic soil shortly, but are prepared to remain in order to help Garen rebuilt and stabilize the country after the civil war. In a somewhat controversial move, the Emperor has pledged to send funding to Moorwhyne in order to secure the swift return to normality and prosperity in the country. The funds pledged amounts to about 1.3 million Moors. Some argue that this money would be better spent at home, where the Spanish Flu still ravages hundreds. Industry has been weakened, despite the boost resulting from the conflict in Moorwhyne. Stability in several regions of the Empire are at risk, as is the case in disease-ravaged France and Italy, while nationalist tensions remain in the Balkan territories.

Despite these setbacks the Vaelgracht Empire is expected to recover within a few years and now turns its full attention to stabilizing and researching a cure for Spanish Flu. The government has drafted the idea to form a joint research team of G&S Pact nations to find a cure and end the global epidemic. This and countless other important topics will be discussed at the proposed summit between Glory and Steel nations, expected to be hosted in Budapest.

Through the face of adversity and war, the Vaelgrahct Empire remains standing tall alongside its allies and friends. "I...I'm not entirely sure I can sign this with tensions being so high across the Americas," Lance sighed as his face scrunched up in frustration, "I really want to sign this - believe me I do...but I can't do it when the possibility of Tarazed being dragged into a foreign war is a very real and present one."

Lance conferred with his aides briefly before continuing, "However...I could offer Tarazedian diplomatic assistance which would attempt to cool tensions between you and Scotatrova. If this mission was successful...then I would have no quarrel in signing this treaty."

Lance scratched his forehead quickly as he finished, "I know this isn't what you came out here to do, but it's the best I can offer..."

he set the captain down onto a nearby chair and started to push the table in front of the door. he captain finally was able to focus and stay awake, i'm gonna guess, they're Var Stal's assassins.... after he had pushed the table in front of the door leonardo turned to the captain almost certainly, i saw the emblem on one of their jackets, CIS fascist party, well, FORMER facist party. the captain sat herself up straight whilst gripping her side which had been shot, where's marius?, gone, no sign of him he probabl-. just then there was a bash at the study door followed by, THEY"RE IN HERE!!.

While the Tarazedian administration appreciates your sudden invitation to the conference in Cairo, we respectfully decline. This is due to our current policy regarding the control of the spread of the Spanish Flu. As several of your neighbouring countries have yet to get the virus under control, we feel it unwise to put employees of our administration at risk of catching the Flu and unwittingly returning it to Tarazedian soil - we have already lost 10,000 citizens to this pathogen, we need not lose more.

The taste of victory was sweet upon the lips of the men and women of Vahn as victory parades marched through the streets of Reykjavik, Dublin, and Glasgow. The travel-weary men and women of the Home Guards had experienced one of the largest military engagements in Vahn's history and returned home largely intact. The financial losses were expected to be recouped within a few short years. The Premier himself made a rare appearance to award hundreds of medals in front of the Congress Hall in Dublin.

For many, the victory was somewhat hollow. Thousand of soldiers were still quarantined in Corsica, waiting for the flu to run its course, unsure of whether or not they would leave the island on their feet or in a coffin.

The men and women of the Foreign Intervention Army celebrated the victory proclamation from the Vahnite base-camp outside Celmarin. Barrels of warm alcohol had arrived by train the day before and the soldiers made their own sort of drunken parade through the abandoned siege lines in celebration of the victory that had apparently occurred. The day after, many were nursing hangovers as they marched into the capital to help with the rebuilding efforts.

Despite the recent victory, tensions were high in Vahn. The recent Fascist uprising in Norway, and the turmoil that occupied Tula and Prusko were putting many on edge. Further conflict was on the way...

him and the captain both had a face of fear and determination. captain, if you can get there, there's a mauser under my desk. we might need that to hold out.. he pushed against the table. the captain hobbled over to leonardos desk and looked under it, there she pulled out a CIS mauser and started to load it. leonardo while pressing against the horde trying to break in, noticed something outside the window, an armored vehicle rammed into the back of the fascists truck killing and injuring many of the fascists, followed by 4 other trucks. the trucks pulled up to the fron and around 50 iron confederates stepped out.
