Boer - CIS conflict (update)

Postby Confederation of imperial states » Sat Dec 27, 2014 8:49 pm

Second battle of Mutare commences. the CIS have heavily fortified the town, the boers, numbered now at 250,000 troops assault the CIS held town. the CIS forces number at 75,000. the CIS use their machine guns and artillery to quickly thin out the charging boers. the boers fire at the CIS, trying to weaken their force. it's a slaughter on the Boers side, they finally reach th fortification and are even more massacred. even the boers who make it over, are quickly suppressed by the CIS in hand to hand combat. the Boers make a smart move and retreat. they get about a mile before the CIS sends out it's force to chase down the retreating boers. the armored cars quickly fire at the retreating men and gun them down. the battle is one with minimal loss on the CIS side and very heavy loss on the Boers side. th CIS then marched to the town of marondera where they liberated the town from boer control. the CIS fortified the town as the boer forces retreated into the countryside. the Boers weer readying another offensive force when they brecieved news, the CIS had invaded from the north, zambia, with a force of 175,000.

Casualties:
CIS: 36
Boers: 275,000

major actions:
-the CIS had tore through even more of the boers controlled area, they gained another town as a foothold.
-the Boers would never again mount another huge offensive
-The boers lost almost half of their military manpower, their power and control over zimbabwe would be weakened greatly

H1N1 virus mutates to even deadlier form enough to spread the disease which the previous 450,000 people who suffered had rise to 1,000,500 with 387,000 died. Gilberto declare Barcelona, Pyrenees, Balearic Islands and Canary Islands to be safe zones and the Red Cross prepares a lot of tents to muster the healthy ones.

Boer - CIS conflict (update)

Postby Confederation of imperial states » Sun Dec 28, 2014 8:17 am

The Conflict took a turn for the worst for the boers when the 100,000 CIS troops poured down from zambia and invad h unready boer troops. The Boer army, now only at 325,000 strong, attempted to stop the northern CIS forces by deploying 200,000 of their men to attempt to stop the 100,000. the first clash from the north insued in the battle of chinhoyi where the Boer troops fortified the town waiting form CIS to charge in. the Fighting id not start until midnight where CIS troops snuck into the town and killed the troops while they were sleeping, liberating chinhoyi.

the next clash was on the road connecting harare and bulawayo. the CIS forces attacked the boers trying to secure the road and took the road for themselves. the troops thn made a massive assault on the city of bulawayo liberating it and greatly crushing the boers. the CIS forces tfrom the original battle of mutare had then captured chitungwa, norton, and kadoma. these movements have trapped and split the boers forces; the ones in the capitol and the ones in the south west.
Casualties
CIS: 375
Boers: 175,000

Major actions:
-CIS now controls most of the towns/cities in zimbabwe
-boers forces are greatly damaged and will not be able to push back the CIS
-boers are split in two, damaging their tactical movements

leonardo sa up from his chair to meet th face of his father in front of his desk, his father stood there, same clothes as his funeral, looking no older.leonardo has a mixture of shocked and stunned "father, but, how?". leonardo III gave a look of steel, "i'm not really here leonado, more like a creaion of your sressed mind". leonardo thought for a oment then said "so dad, why're you here". leonardo III walked up to the window and looked out it, simply saying, "there is a war coming leo, a war that will threaten the whole of the CIS. your neighbors to the north will invade and you must drive them out" leonardo IV looked unsuprised by this news and said "thanks for this news father, good to see you one last time". his father chuckled and said, "oh by, this will certainly not be the last time, now if you could, please wake up". leonardo then jumped awake, the captain ran into the room and said "SIR, we hav reports that the loyalists might have mercenary amies coming from oman". leonardo simply said, "ready the force, if they do come we'll be ready".

The Rajah's congressional pledge for expansion has been called into the spotlight once more, as the Rajah has announced the planned annexation of Thailand.

An ultimatum has been posed to the leaders of Thailand: Their leaders can retain positions of power as members of the Rajahdesi council, submit to Rajahdesian law , and allow Thailand to be iincoporated into Rajahdesu as an administrative district; or face the power of Rajahdesu's military.

The ultimatum has yet to be answered, but leading members of the Rajahdesian Council have already drafted the necessary bills for annexation, so it can be assumed that the Council and Rajah are confident in what answer they shall receive.

OOC: Population after the incorporation of Singapore and Malaysia stands at 51,296,400, with http://www.populstat.info/ being my source

Excerpt from Rajahdesi news publication

"In the hours just before dawn, the ultimatum directed towards the Thai government was answered. The leading administrators of the Thai government have consented to Thailand's incorporation into the Kingdom of Rajahdesu. The former monarch of Thailand has self-expedited to Burma and refuses to yield his claim on the throne. Despite this, the addition of Thailand into Rajahdesu will be official by the close of today's High Council meeting. The people of Thailand will be able to vote for representatives in the High Council after the standard 5 year period.

The nation of Rajahdesu has expanded rapidly in the past few years, and the first few regions to join the kingdom; Java, Sumatra, and the Philippines, are just now becoming well integrated into the realm of Rajahdesu. The issues of integration of the diverse regions of the kingdom are the foremost priority of the Council and the Rajah. THe success of these efforts are clear in the regions mentioned previously.

When inquired about how the Council and the Rajah intend to deal with the exiled king of Thailand, the council spokesperson simply stated: 'We must wait and see what he aims to do from Burma. If he aims to tear Thailand from Rajahdesu, the armies of Rajahdesu will respond accordingly'"

OOC: Rajahdesu annexes Thailand. This is my weekly claim. Population of Rajahdesu now totals at 60,244,400, according to the source in the quoted post.

Premier Kador Vahl of Vahn has, with the approval of the Premier Congress of the Democratic States of Vahn, made a formal statement condemning the recent coup in New Austria. The principles that now reign in New Austria are intrinsically opposed to the concepts on which Vahn is founded. We warn the current dictator of New Austria to respect the borders of it's adjacent states and that any offense will be met with appropriate action.

That will be all.

The Field Commander of the Vahnite military in Moorwhyne has called for the G&S coalition to assemble to formulate a plan for the capture of the capital of Moorwhyne. This strategy meeting will take place in the main Vahnite encampment.

OOC: Lets move this forward guys. Send military leaders to plan out the next step. We need: RS, Ismeil, Garen's rebels, and the CIS to participate.

We wish to inform you that, we don't want to do anything to make our foreign relations any more stressed than it already is. So to attempt to improve our relations i propose that we set up a demilitarized zone on our border.

Minor rioting has been reported in Eastern Daramonty City following the enacting of a zero tolerance quarantine zone across the entire Daramonty metropolitan area. This quarantine zone has been set up to halt the spread of the H1N1 virus which has been responsible for the deaths of several dozen people over the past week. President Oswald has called for a sense of calm and order in the area and urged citizens to follow the requests of police officers and personnel from the Ministry of Disease Control and Prevention.

First assault line, Çelmarin
1917

1:34

Garen paces around anxious. As he and the other leaders talk amongst themselves and tell of their strength, Garen only thinks about Janos.

*Garen turns around and puts both fists on the table

Garen: The way I see it, we could do 1 of 3 things.
1. Attempt to head on assault it very soon. This would result in the least amount of damages to the city and civilians itself.
2. Bombard the hell out of the city, leaving the capital destroyed with gods know how many civilian casualties.
3. We attack quietly
*Garen smiles
*The generals and the leaders in the room look confused
Leonardo: Care to elaborate Mr. Brunhile?
Garen: Small units, tactical units. We bomb one part of the city heavily and move most of our troops over near the breach. Then when the insurgents see this, they will no doubt move their traps and defenses over enough for us to slide in small teams. If we kill their "god king" As he is now being called, we will cripple their will to fight. They might surrender, they might commit suicide. It doesn't matter so long as they are no longer a threat.

So what do you all think about option 3?

*Garen looks around at the leaders with intrigue

Leonardo looked inrigued and thought for a moment before speaking, "either plan 1 or 3 are our best options in my opinion. we shouldn't risk killing more innocents than we need to. option 3 would be the least costly of them all and we could get a shot at janos, but sneaking an army in there will be difficult to say the least. i could get some insurgents within their ranks to allow our men to pass through but it will be a task to do."

Field Commander A. Mayer frowned but nodded.

"While we do have more than enough men to take the city by force, plan 3 has it's merits."

An officer accompanying the field commander interjected.

"We should send troops familiar with the city. Garen's rebels know the city better than any of us, and many of our veterans served as police here during Moorwhyne's war with Ismeil. The better our men know the city, the more effectively they can do their job."

Commander Mayer nods in agreement.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7s6ebxFvrFw

Some are calling it the new anthem of Moorwhyne, others are calling it one of Janos's demoralization schemes. Whatever it may be, It has been blasting from Çelmarin for about 20 straight minutes.

boer - CIS conflict (update)

Postby Confederation of imperial states » Mon Dec 29, 2014 6:10 pm

boers crushed

After a lone and hard fighting stretch in the south west of Zimbabwe, the boer regime has finally come to a halt. After hours and hours of fighting, the boers decide to surrender. Any remaining boers have retreated into the Namibia and other nations, hiding in exile. CIS troops freed the Zimbabwe political leaders that weren't killed. CIS forces from Zambia are returning and Red Cross officials are supporting the small nation, trying to help it back on its feet from its long and horrific suppression.

[The Boer - CIS conflict has come to an end, with the CIS victorious]
