Operation Steel Rain, over Lebanon, October 13th 0915
"Mission control, this is Hammer 11. Over." Flight Commander Alpo said.
"Hammer 11, this is mission control. Go ahead."
"Twenty miles from target area. Request you radio SLA forces and have them paint the targets. They target, we'll hit." Alpo said from the seat of his F-15I. Israel's 69 Squadron, or the Hammers, were preparing to strike the enemy positions in Tyre. Their squadron had fifteen planes but the 8th Squadron, or the Wolf Pack, was also striking too. Israeli Air Force squadrons would continue to strike Tyre in cycles of thirty planes, switching every two hours.

Operation Steel Rain, 8th Artillery Regiment, outside of Nahariyya, Israel, October 13th 0915
"Open fire!" Major Ben Levy said. Twenty-five HIMARS of the 8th Artillery began to lob rockets and missiles toward Tyre, slamming into multiple enemy positions. The 8th had recently moved there in support of the SLA military operation against the city of Tyre.


Six hours earlier.....


Operation Steel Rain, Egoz Recon Unit, outside of Tyre, Lebanon, October 13th 0315
"Mission is a go. Radio silence until you get back to Israeli airspace. Good luck." Mission control said in Haifa. One S-97 Raider took off from Haifa Airbase heading towards Tyre.

Twenty-five minutes later....

"ETA one minute." The pilot said to the four commandos.
"One minute!" The soldiers said in unison.
As they landed, two camouflaged commandos took off into the surrounding hills of Tyre. The silent helicopter took off with the remaining two commandos, flying low over the dark sky of Tyre, the soldiers prepared to fast rope onto the street. They quickly departed the helicopter and ran down a street, dressed in civilian clothes. The helicopter then headed back toward Israel....
