Lebanon
As the situation in Lebanon was becoming tense due to the neighboring war in Syria, Hezbollah along with the Syrian Social Nationalist Party and their allies were moving to take over and eliminate the already weak Lebanese government by trying to eliminate the March 14 coalition party. Clashes between Hezbollah and Daesh(ISIS) throughout the Bekaa valley have forced the Iranian regime to send direct Revolutionary guard forces into Lebanon to prop up Hezbollah's professional military manpower. With the Lebanese army disintegrating all over Lebanon, Tripoli declaring its own emirate separate from Lebanon, the Christians divided in the north between two political parties, and Sunni militas clashing with Hezbollah in West Beirut and Sidon the South Lebanon Army decided to call upon its reserves to secure its front lines. Everywhere from Jezzine all the way to Bint Jbeil SLA soldiers armed with the standard FN FAL combat rifle took positions on the frontline posts and trenches. Artillery was moved into position aiming at the Dahiyeh Hezbollah suburb of Beirut. Reports where coming in of Al Nusra forces massing on the south east Syrian border with Lebanon preparing for an assault into Hasbaya. The SLA high command has requested for Israel to protect it with air cover, which Israel is required to do since the 1982 invasion. Hezbollah, with the goal to try and unify the south under its command launched an assault with 120 soldiers and 300 militamen at Jezzine. Heavy combat between SLA defensive postions and Hezbollah resulted in heavy casualties on both sides. Hezbollah was held but it remains unknown if the SLA can hold Jezzine until further aid and supplies come. The SLA has held Hezbollah and repelled their assaults ever since the Israeli army pulled out of Lebanon. However with the increased weaponry given to Hezbollah by Iran and the large manpower the SLA is requesting Israel and any western nations to support it in its fight. Foreign private donors mostly of lebanese origin have been very helpful to support the SLA financially with hundreds of millions being poured in however manpower has become a great dilemma.
