On December twelfth 2014, the SETI institution - as well as other space based bodies - picked up what they assumed to be an asteroid, horrifically they discovered that it was on a direct collision course for Earth. After an impactor was hastily assembled and launched with the aim of changing the object's course, the planet waited for baited breath for it to arrive and complete its mission.
One December twentieth it arrived at the object and slammed into it, changing its course by the required amount. 'Mission success' - or so we thought. Mere minutes later, the object altered its course back onto its original heading. This tiny action sent shockwaves through human society, this object had corrected its course - something which required engines, operators and (perhaps most importantly of all) intelligence.
The now-confirmed alien craft is only three days from Earth. Barely any time.

Before officially taking part in battles and stuff. New nations must now post their RP country population size, and their army/navy numbers for both and active and reserved forces, before doing anything else. So I can see if it's realistic or not. If I see it's realistic in proportion to the map claim your country has, it'll be approved. If not, it'll have to be changed before you're approved. Though you can grow your army if you conquer territories.
LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT NOTICE:
If you do not post in the RP for a matter of 12 days from the last time you have posted, I will remove you from the map, and thereby remove you from the game. You will then have to TG me to rejoin, and may lose your former territory during that time. So try to be active. If you have something keeping you away IRL, notify me about it. Otherwise you'll lose your territory. If a nation was at war with another nation (or a nation was in the process of being invaded that has become inactive), the active player or alien invader may seize it's former territory.

Fighting between nations is fine, just expect it to bite you in the ass if you do it however - the aliens are the real threat here.
