A fleet of ships on the small island of Farcheuland have prepared to disembark for a journey to lands south of the Baughistani islands.

(not looking for new territory, maybe a small island for military and trade in this new neck of the woods but that's it)

IC:Upon hearing the call for explorers to bravely go where men have not dared to tread before, former military men and adventure seekers flood the Servintan visa office in hopes they will be allowed to leave Servinta to join the intrepid crews of this small exploration fleet.Men from every corner of the country sell all they own and head for Autordisma where they pay heavily for supplies and bribes to get their visas and leave on ship and arrive a few days later to the small island of Farcheuland, where they enlist to join this expedition and seek fortune and fame.

IC:Hearing about the recent call for brave explorers to head where no man has gone before,about 100 soldiers and other people seeking adventure are given permission by
Tsar Nikolai Alexandrovich Romanov IV to leave the country to help the explorers from Archeuland.th
All supplies and ships needed will be provided by the government.


OOC:This will tie into healing relations between me and the GDC.

The Servintan ship 'Arknaniv' arrives at Farcheuland island carrying fifty two men who varied from seasoned mariners and former soldiers to young explorers and scientist.Their unofficial leader was former Servintan Peoples Army Feild-Marshall Etchnan, was the first to step off the ship as they docked in the port island.Wearing his military issued greatcoat and officers sword, he was old but he had a spark in his eyes that yearned for adventure like that of a youthful soul.Flanked by his small cadre of personal body guard who wore modified versions of the Servintan military's uniform and followed by the gaggle of the voyages volunteers, he walked causally down the dock looking for the Grand exploration's leader.

The crew and passengers of HMS Delfontaine and the other, smaller boats had gathered into a meeting room with their captains, and their leader, Admiral Abernathy.

"Greetings. I am Admiral David Abernathy, leader of this voyage. With the exception of the press, many of the people in this room will be embarking on a month-long trip in the southernmost tips of the Israelian and Baughistani Seas. We will be exploring new lands, which we certainly expect to find."

"We have heard rumors that there are lands with magic," David remarked. People whispered. "We don't expect what to find exactly. I have heard of a land far east where men ride dragons. It is also where those oddities like Hank the Cat come from. As for us, we are sailing south. Far, far, south. We will hope to find civilization of some sort. Of course we have brought a lot of fuel."

"We know for sure that there are lands -- lots of them -- north, south, east, and west. As we speak our Emperor Markus is arranging other voyages in the future. I will disclose some information that I have been authorized -- we have made contact with two small republics in a land five hundred miles (or so) south of Farcheuland. We expect to make them our first destination. We are not going to be taking the Baughistan route after all. Our Emperor secured communication with these new countries and they have been most welcoming."

[Servinta]

"Apologies comrade, these old ears of mine have withstood wars and loud grandchildren alike so my hearing can go in and out at times, but if I hear you right then how can simple men such as us seek to colonize lands of such danger and wonder that you describe." Etchnan asked as the men grumbled among themselves of the words of Wen 'Dragons,power,technology,presidential cats', these were high claims that while tempting would surely be defended by hostile forces of some sort.

"In ancient Deian Salazarian texts,there has been legends about a place called Narnia.There are passages about
talking animals,likw wolves and beavers.We believe Hank may have originated from there".Wen proposed.
"We must find these lands and forge treaties with them and explore them".

"Narnia you say?"

"While it is possible that Hank's ancestors came from Narnia, as far as we know, the werecat kind comes from some place called Algesia. At any rate Algesia is east of us -- far, far east -- and the journey takes three years by boat."

[Servinta]

None of the Servintans had ever heard of such a place and the closest thing they had ever known of talking animals was in children's stories.And though they had all heard of the national leader who was Hank the cat, they had though it some sort of odd religious icon of some sort, not a real life creature.

"Will these inhabitants of 'Narnia' be freindly to our arrival or will they be hostile to beings such as us appearing on their shores?" Feild-Marshall Etchnan questioned more into this destination of theirs.
