Introduction
Nation biographies -- Archeuland, Gilneas, and the Unified Prussian States (the 'Big Three')
Archeuland
Archeuland is probably the largest nation in the Genevievian sphere of influence, representing approximately 28,000 square miles. Founded in 1787, this country has been arguably (though this is biased coming from me) the most influential and respected country there, and certainly a 'serious-business' people. Archeuland is usually peaceful, but when provoked, it goes to war with great impunity and strikes hard, utilizing all sorts of secret weapons and large armed forces. Archeuland is a theocratic government with an official church and religion -- Christianity. It is not just Christian in name; Archeuland as a whole (with the exception of a few pockets of natives and the described 'hippy city of Port Honey') is very conservative and moralistic. The World Assembly has called Archeuland a moralistic democracy more than once, which is a fair title, considering that Archeuland does have a presidency subservient to the benevolent emperor (who also exercises a lot of religious, judicial, and military authority), Markus III*.
Archeuland's national population is not as large as others, but the exact population is certainly unknown, but estimated to be around 520,000,000.

Gilneas
The modern Gilneas we know today was founded in 1341 with the signing of the Isleta Treaty (not to be confused with the 2014 Isleta Accords), but it has really existed for most of history. Archeulandic and Gilnean theologians say that Gilneas was settled about two hundred years after the Flood of Noah, meaning that Gilneas would be around three thousand years old, the oldest nation on Genevievia.
While Cold War was going on in far off America and Russia, Gilneas participated in the first major war in over eight hundred years. King Graymane (1903-1958) had requested entry into a royal ball going on in neighboring Lithuania-Latvia. After beng denied entry (so they claimed), war was declared between the two on the grounds of dishonor. Many atomic bombs were exchanged but Gilneas was victorious, had it not been for the support of Greater Israelia, which sent many military reinforcements to defend them, resulting in a Gilnean victory, but also in resentment from Gilneas' neighbors. From the time of the First War on Lithuania-Lativa (1958) to modern times, Gilneas had been involved in over fifteen wars across a war-torn Genevievia.
Gilneas is a Christian nation as well, but is not as theocratic as neighboring Archeuland. Gilneas is a militaristic state more than a Christian state, but is fiercely moralistic, and adheres to many principles based in the Law of Moses.

Organizations in Genevievia
Gilnean Defense Coalition
Established on the 8 September 2014, the Gilnean Defense Coalition (GDC) exists to protect the nation of Gilneas in the all-to-common events of foreign annexationa attempts. The GDC relies on foreign support in varying forms, but primarily military assistance. At one point, the peacekeeping forces exceeded that of most nations in Genevievia, numbering over five million (in anticipation of an attack by the Royally United Provinces). From time to time, other nations, such as Archeuland, have called on the help of the GDC in military conflicts. On the whole, it is a military alliance, but it also has a variety of chambers that work for the betterment of Genevievia, including a Reconstruction Committee, a Cartographic Association, and more.
International Genevievian Defense Association
The IGDA was originally established with Gilneas, not Genevievia in its name. The intent of this organization was originally ironic, though in name it appeared to be a defense association, it was actually a hostile organization bent on annexation and dividing up of Gilneas' territory. The IGDA maintains that this was for the good of all. More than one member of this organization believes the Gilnean Royal Family to be insane and murderous. GDC-IGDA relations are particularly strenous, especially in wartime, but attempts have been made -- from the Blackshire Peace Treaty to the Isleta Accords -- to eventually merge the organizations into a common society.
Proposed 'Genevievian Union'
The government of Aravea has called for the unification of all nations in Genevievia under a common banner, to be dubbed something along the lines foa 'Genevievian Union'. This has not gone far, but is a possibility in the future if peaceful relations continue.

- ~2095 BC:Due to a storm barely stopping arrival in Genevievia, the first Deian Salazarian settlers arrive after the Gilneans to bring civilization.

- 1109 AD: Islamic caliphate in northwest competes with Gilnean Holy Empire. Kingdom of Chernigov attacks The Islamic Caliphate but fails.
- 1120 AD: Modern Deian-Salazar established, peacefully seceding from the Holy Empire. Establishment of Tsarist Chernigov
- 1189 AD: Establishment of a Papacy in Isleta. Pope Darvish I calls for a crusade against the caliphate. Tsarist Chernigov Joins the Crusade, First Tsar of Chernigov (name unknown) is killed in battle, Tsarevich Alexander I crowned Tsar and supreme leader of Chernigov.
- 1191 AD: Aravean settlers arrive and create a small colony. Tsarist Chernigov expands to its modern day northern border.
- 1200 AD: Crusade begins against Muhademic Caliphate, driving it to the coast. Led by Pope Michael II. Tsarist Chernigov Expands up to Northern Rutthenia.
- 1230 AD: The caliphate is defeated and allowed to own only the Unggoy Isles and small bits of land on the coast. Tsarist Chernigov Gives up Northern Rutthenia but keeps the Southern Half.
- 1234 AD: 'Islamstan' established. Tsar Alexander I dies of natural causes; Tsarevich Ivan I crowned Tsar of Chernigov.
- 1304 AD: Holy Gilnean Empire dissolves in the conclusion of a civil war. Gilneas retreats to its modern-day territories and surrenders other holdings. These holdings go on to become nations such as Firewind, New Helios and Arvenia.
- 1305 AD: In Tsarist Chernigov, death of Tsar Ivan Il; ascension of Tsarevich Alexander II. The first act of the new Tsar is the conquest of Western Acharastan.
- 1341 AD: The Grand Kingdom of Gilneas is established with the signing of the Isleta Treaty.
- 1350 AD: The kingdom of Archenland* is created by a group of settlers. Port Alexander Founded and named after Tsar Alexander I.
* Archenland is renamed and royalized 'Archeuland' when conquered by then-Prince Markus II in ~1963.
- 1398 AD: Tsar Alexander II dies of old age; War of Chernigov Succession begins.
- 1409 AD: Reunification by Feng, Deian-Salazarian empire stretches from northern coast to Lake Jade.
- 1417 AD: War of Chernigov Succession ends, resulting in Tsar Nikolai Romanov I being crowned Tsar of Chernigov and Supreme autocrat.
- 1428 AD: Christians and Muslims fight over the Unggoy territories, and the last foothold of the caliphate in Genevievia's mainland is taken. The Unggoy Empire is formed. Tsar Nikolai Romanov I dies in battle. Tsarevich Nikolai Romanov II is crowned as Tsar of Chernigov.
- 1490 AD: The Kazan Islands are first colonized by Tsarist Chernigov, prompting other nations to begin colonialism. The Golden Age of Tsarist Chernigov begins after Tsar Nikolai Romanov II dies and Tsarevich Peter Romanov assumes control.
- 1600 AD: Ideas from the Protestant Reformation spread to Genevievia, prompting the spread of Protestantism. Protestantism is first adopted in Tsarist Chernigov. Meanwhile, Chernigov also sees the construction of St. Petersburg and a winter palace.
- 1644 AD: First Great War -- after centuries of mostly peace, Archenland attempts to annex neighboring Blakakre. Disapproving of this move, Andrastinon attacks Archenland. Archenland's ally Russovika (as it was formerly spelled) declares war on Andrastinon. Other nations join in and pick sides. When Andrastinoni fleets arrive to invade Archenland, they see the large allied force and immediately surrender.
- 1647 AD: Chernigov Tsar Alexei I dies, heir to the throne Tsarevich Nikolai III assumes authority.
- 1670 AD: Second Great War: Archenland attempts to take some land from the savage Samaiitian indians. Fifty thousand men are drafted to fight, and a good thirty thousand, who come from rich and noble families, protest, and, when given the chance to escape, did so. They quickly formed the Royally United Provinces around 1671. The Samaiitians are pushed further north, and compensate for their loss of land to the RUP by taking land from their neighboring tribes. Meanwhile, Tsarist Chernigov sells Southern Rutthenia.Tsar Nikolai Romanov Dies, and the names of the next three Tsars are lost to history.
- 1740 AD: In the late summer, from the Far off land in the East, King Hank the Cat I (Sometimes called the Fearless) sailed with 500 Humans, and 10 of his Werecat brethren, into Genevevia. His Galleys land in the Unggoy Isles, and conflict quickly escalates with Muslim Forces. After a hundred and forty years, the great city of St. Petersburg, and the winter palace, ends.
- 1741 AD: At the conclusion of winter, King Hank the Cat I leads an attack on the Muslim Fortress of Granada. His forces are outnumbered, but his forces and his command turn the tide. In the first of the tragedies to happen, King Hank the Cat I dies in battle against a force of Azabs, and a Muslim General, Mohammad Al-Assad. However, despite this, his previous orders he gave outlive him, and the Commonwealth he founds wins the battle. Hank's son, King Hank the Cat II, "The Honorable" assumes control of these islands.
- 1750 AD: A large force of Moors descent on Granada. King Hank the Cat II retreats into his fleet of galleys with many more men (2000), but still 10 Werecats. Economic downturn begins in Tsarist Chernigov, signalling the end of the Golden Age. Later, King Hank the Cat II lands in modern Commonwealth lands, and is put into conflict with local Mongols. He conquers the Mongols, and forces their peasants and leaders to accept him as their king.
- 1760 AD: King Hank the Cat II dies due to Disease. After his death, the Commonwealth is found by Archeuland and Gilneans scouts. The new leader, High King Hank the Cat III, agrees to open up trade routes with both Gilneas and Archeuland. Diplomatic relations -- in the form of an alliance -- are later established.
- 1776 AD: In America, many thousands of miles away, the United States is established.
- 1787 AD: Coup'detat in Archenland -- the nation of Archeuland is established and the name royalized. The new government pleases neighboring United Provinces, who forge an alliance. Famed emperor Markus II's great great great grandfather, Peter IV, a noble, started the coup against the corrupt king of Archenland and became emperor with the support of the nobility and military. This led to the rise of the Delafontaine Royal Family, whose lineage continues today. Tsar Alexei III Becomes Tsar of Chernigov.
- 1790 AD: High King Hank IV, the new king since High King Hank III's death against Moors forces, agrees to allow Catholics in his nation, The Werecat Kingdoms. The Werecat Kingdoms, The Kingdom of Archueland, and the Gilneans Reich start up The Papal States, with a college of cardinals to help it.
- 1794 AD: First Deian-Salazarian war against the Royally United Provinces, ending as soon as it starts with the only battle, the Battle of Brownings resulting in a Royalist/RUP victory.
- 1800 AD: Archeuland emperor Peter V sends out colonists to a newly-discovered land far north of Genevievia. The journey takes three years.
- 1803 AD: The colony of Israelia is established by order of Peter V.
- 1806 AD: Peter VI assumes authority over Archeuland with the death of his father.
- 1813 AD: The emperor finishes his tour of his colonial realms in Israelia -- and practically falls in love with the colony. He decrees that the capital should be moved from Masoubé in Archeuland to Israelia, and that the empire should hence be known as the Israelian Empire.
- 1820 AD: The intentions of the emperor, set in motion a good seven years before, are complete, and the capital of the new island, Jerusalemé, boasts a good five thousand people. Tsarevich Peter II becomes Tsar in Chernigov. Meanwhile, the second war on the Royally United Provinces was initiated by the Deian-Salazarian Empire. It began as a result of a diplomatic misunderstanding misunderstanding after Emissary Shan was killed by a rogue royalist soldier whose family had been killed in a Deian War. The Salazarians gain at first, but supply shortages result in eventual loss.
- 1823 AD: Peter VI is assassinated and Prince Tabor XI assumes authority in a coup, preventing Peter VII from being emperor. Tabor imposes heavy taxes on Archeuland, seeing it as unimportant.
- 1830 AD: Archeuland secedes from the Israelian Empire and restyles itself as 'Free State of Archenland', throwing off the royalized name. It breaks any ties and trade deals with the Royally United Provinces. Emperor Tabor fails to recapture the territory and gives it up completely.
- 1833 AD: Tabor is killed, and Peter VII takes control, asserting his right to rule as son of the late Peter VI. Tsarevich Alexei IV Becomes Tsar of Chernigov.
- 1898 AD: In Chernigov, Tsar Alexei IV dies of old age, and his son Peter III assumes control of the nation. New advances begin the Second Industrial Revolution in Tsarist Chernigov. Peter III calls for modernization of the military through various reforms.
- 1899/1900 AD: The New Years' War, also called the Deian-Salazarian War on Irav: after failed negotiations with the intent of annexing Irav, Deian-Salazar declares war on Irav. The war goes on for a year's time before ending in a peace treaty.
- 1946 AD: Tsar Peter III dies,Tsarevich Alexander IV becomes Tsar of Chernigov.
- 1958 AD: First Gilnean War on Lithuania-Latvia, resulting in Gilnean defeat
- 1963 AD: Collapse of the Israelian Empires; terrorist attack on Israelian capital and major cities results in total destruction of the nation. Markus III annexes nation of Archenland and re-founds Archeuland. He gathers Baughistan and Archeuland and other relams under his control and asserts a lot of authority.

- 1999 AD: Tsar Alexander V dies in Chernigov; succeeded by Nikolai Alexandrovich Romanov IV.
- 2014 AD: The International Gilnean Defense Association (since renamed to Genevievian) is established. The Gilnean defense Coalition is established subsequently. Following is the 'Great War of Genevievia', where Archeuland conquers much territory, annexes Knasseret, and Lithuania-Latvia is destroyed by the Unified Prussian States. Peace treaty is signed between the Archeuland-based coalition and the Royalists in the RUP. The Colony of Kreiger is established alongside the Sub-Colony North Kreiger in Genvievia's north.

Interesting world facts and information
- The total estimated world population of Genevievia is three and a half billion.
The total landmass is estimated to be five million square miles, about as much as two Chinas, or the United States and Canada combined.
The highest point in Genevievia is Mount Helicon, estimated to be ten, twenty, or even thirty miles tall. No one knows for sure.
There are many lands outside of Genevievia -- obviously, the seven earthly continents are thousands of miles away. Closer to Genevievia, but outside the world map, are the Rawaiian islands, the Hyperborean supercontinent in the far north, and even a mysterious place called 'the Silver Sea'.
There are talking cats in Genevievia -- but they are few. Hank, self proclaimed president of a small nation called the Commonwealth in the north, is an unusual species called a werecat. Werecats originate from a land believed to be called Algesia or something of the kind, which has been sailed to a few times from Genevievia, but the journey is expected to take over three years by boat.
