The bombers quickly came under enemy fire. They were being escorted by Iravian fighter jets, who in technology outmatched the Gilnean counterparts. ''Dammit, were being attacked by Gilnean fighters. Send more escort fighters if possible.'' a pilot said who was shot down seconds later. The Iravian fighters jets however managed to do some damage to the Gilnean ones as well.

''I see their capital city. Would be a shame if this warhead would hit it. Let's see what this baby can do.'' they said when they finally reached the capital. Both bombers equipped with the warheads dropped their bombs, together with several other bombers. They looked down as they returned to the carrier the IIN Dijnie who was waiting 15 minutes outside of the Gilnean capital in ocean waters.

Just as the message ended. The USS Odysseus launched 4 large EMP bursts into the major cities of Gilneas, it also moved into position and began dropping large groups of Paladin soldiers. Approximately 25,000 to be exact. Naval vessels stationed on the planet moving into position, increasing the strength of the blockade.

(OOC: Only reason I have soldiers stationed on earth is because I'm constantly being called here to help so might as well keep a few ships with a lot of troops here. And some navies, otherwise I wouldn't even know about this problem.
Also, I just wanna see how he godmods his way out of this :3)

I know that what Gilneas is doing is absolutely disgusting, and abhorrent, but I urge everyone to not resort to using nuclear arms so hastily. Yes, he did launch two ICBMs, but I am confident in our anti-ballistic missile systems' abilities to stop missiles before they even reach off the coast. So please, remember that the use of nuclear arms is a last resort, and that the needless loss of human life as a result of forgetting that can be, and already is, substantial. I have faith that in due time Gilneas will fall, and their government can be negotiated with to turn their back on its barbaric ways and embrace republican democracy. Please, do not resort to extreme measures so soon.
