The Reppubliccastasse of Great Scourge condemns this action heavily, and will declare WAR unless Gilneas outlaws slavery within 2 days. The state is mobilizing its forces, and the air force has been put on high alert. Scourgi volunteers have already joined the war effort.
Scourge IS armed with many nuclear weapons, and has over 73,000,000 troops (plus reserve) (OOC: Based on nseconomy, my favorite tool for realism, this is true, and we far outnumber Gilneas). (OOC, again: If this roleplay accepts fantasy) Scourge also has many dragon riders in the military, and dragons as well. We also will block all trade with Gilneas, starting now and ending when they re-institute the ban on slavery. Scourge is not allowing travel to and from Gilneas. All vessels that go within Scourgian waters or airspace heading to or from Gilneas shall be shot down. Scourge also declares unrestricted submarine warfare with Gilneas.

We shall cease all activities of those natures when Gilneas actively bans slavery.

Even with fifteen years, the radioactive wasteland would take at least three decades to dissipate to a safe level. The sheer volume of nukes unleashed means that it would take even longer in this circumstance.
Gilneas is a nuclear crater, nothing would grow there, only way to feed is through trade, which we are cutting off.

Dear Gilnean leadership and government,

Slavery is the product of a bygone era, and its use in the modern day is barbaric and corrosive to human rights. On top of your legalization of slavery, is your ethno-supremacist influences which your government wholly adopts that "pure" Gilneans do not need to suffer, while those who do not fit the definition are enslaved.

The Holthington Republic finds your actions unforgivable, and the President just gave authorization for an Executive Deployment of the Holthington Navy to aid in the blockade. Our Cruisers have been equipped with Aegis anti-ballistic missiles, and will use them against any attempted missile launch. We will also be sending an Aircraft Carrier in case you attempt to attack the blockade. Our military does not hesitate when it comes to decisive action, and they will break your forces in half if need be.

Our forces will retreat when the Gilnean Kaiser formally resigns, slavery is abolished, and the Gilnean leadership meets in a diplomatic hearing to reform the country. Until then, the blockade will continue. Please rethink your destructive and oppressive ways, or we will make you rethink them.
