RVS Posthaste and Parcel
The Valdian skippers looked on with anxiety as intense fighting continued in the beachhead. Pockets of resistance still held strong where Bajeban troops engaged the resistance. It was, however, much safer than before, but the skippers still feared for their ships, their lives, and their crews. The radio crackled to life. "Go! Now!" A few seconds processing' time was delayed before each captain issued the order: "Full ahead! Full ahead! Prep open and deploy!" Klaxons sounded, alerting the troops and tank crews to get in position. Seawater began to trickle in as in preparation for the opening of the massive doors their pressure weakened. The Ultimatum's massive guns leveled at troop formations and fired massive half-ton shells. Amidst the chaos, Bajeban and Weseltonian troops alike looked confusedly at the two massive troopships making their way towards the beach, flying a familiar flag. A few Weseltonians hoped that the ships were here to aid them in the losing battle, but given the Embassy's recent correspondence, any hopes were quickly dashed.

Fighting continued. Weseltonian gun emplacements fired at the massive ship, but did not do much damage to it or its cargo. The ships 5-inch defense guns made short work of small groups of troops, and unloading began quickly. The tanks rolled off first and quickly began climbing, their commanders saluting their Bajeban comrades as the troops followed suit.

Meanwhile, 5 miles off of the coast, the Valdian fleet began shelling inward. Coordination specialists on the ground called out friendly coordinates and foe coordinates, allowing the efficient Valdian guns to shell only foes. A few locked in CQC were lost, but losses were at a minimum. The Valdian column advanced steadily through the resistance.

The Acerian air defenses were more than adequate, for they had been built with a temporal anomaly that baffled Valdian scientists. However, Valdian pilots were itching to try out their new F/A-12s in combat, and ergo, ahd been deployed. Sporting the distinctive red centerline stripe of Valdian planes, the pilots in their brand new aircraft quickly overcame scores of Weseltonian onslaught. Three squadrons were above the country, and feared not for capture, for they were over friendly territory. The most worry they had was collateral, where their victims' burning planes fell - the most they could do was keep the fight away from the capitol and over large supermarkets, which were closed for the night. Annadelle, being farther away, had yet to receive Valdian support, but it was indeed on the way.
