Waqora, who had arrived 5 minutes pervious and relieved Brent of his command looked nervously at his Intelligence Officer.

"Have you ever heard of a ship taking this long to respond? " He asked.

The Intelligence Officer frowned, then shook her head no.

"That's what I suspected. Notify Command, see if they can get some ships on standby. I have a feeling things could get hairy."

The Officer nodded, then informed him that they had broken through the first level of Adamantium plating. Waqora nodded, and told her to keep up the good work. He wanted to know as much about the ship as possible. Meanwhile, the Breaton's heavy shielding interfered with the unknown vessel's scanners. The shielding wasn't perfect, but was granted to outlast the other ship's meager sensors. The only scanners able to break though would have to have been gathered from a multi-ship assault or a ship more powerful then the Breaton.

"Sir, we have Warp signatures on two locations, approximately 2300 kilometers behind us." reported the sensors officer

"With luck, that'll be our reinforcements." said the captain, happily.

"Yes, sir." affirmed the sensors officer.



Meanwhile, those ships in the warp burst out. It was, in fact, not the reinforcement, but in fact a small flotilla of Chaos ships.


"Sir, the ships that have emerged from the Warp are Traitor ships." cried the sensors officer

"Lock on and fire for effect!" ordered the captain. "I want those ships destroyed. NOW!"

"Sir, they're firing missiles and lances at us. We'll soon be in range for their weapons batteries. The Chaos forces consist of twelve destroyers and fifteen frigates, but nothing larger." reported the sensors officer.

"Void shields to full power! Turn us to face those things, and launch all fighters!" ordered the captain.

"Right away, sir." replied the weapons officer as he hurried to perform his orders.

Admiral fictu looked out the command window. " It appears as though we've managed to warp ourselves into another mess Chernov." "Indeed we have sir, chaos ships on the right are targeting the imperial ships on the left." Fictu sighed "Setup missile nets between us and and the chaos ships, prepare all right batteries for immediate for. High denisty-Deep impact rounds if you please Mr.Chernov." "Yes sir." "While your at it, hail that capital imperial ship, i want a sitrep on these chaps. No need to get on thier bad side he murmured. Fictu sat down in his command post as he felt the ship rock as the immense force from the bateries unleash hell on the chaos ships.

Waqora froze. Based on the reports he had just been handed, the unknown vessel had just engaged multiple other vessels that dropped out of warp. As if that wasn't shocking enough, another ship had warped in.

"What the hell is going on?" he muttered as a battle broke out before his eyes.

Fictu looked at the holo-map. "Sir did you-" "Yes chernov, I see it." "Is it a friendly?" "It hasnt fired on us." "Then hail it, I want some answerts, this is a whole new space for us and its best we make some new friends." Fictu looked over to the chaos ships. The sheilds were holding against thier batteries but a few lance shots were getting through the shield. "Target those lance batterires then the rest of the ship, their scratchin my new ship." He said with a grin."Yessir" replied chernov

The Breaton's reply to the hail was brief and to the point.

Hello, We are the Grokoans. We are a peaceful race, but we are ready to defend ourselves. We wish to inquire as to your intentions. Are you a friend or enemy?

Fictu replied quick.

Friend. We require some allies as we are new to this sector. We are however not new to the chaos ships and we know we could require some help dealing with this scum.

"Target that squadron of frigates. They appear to have started launching boarding craft."

A large barrage of missiles, lascannon blasts, and lance fire hit the frigates launching the boarding craft, destroying two of the traitor ships. The others, meanwhile, closed in and started firing their weapons.

"Sir, front void shields are collapsing. We're taking damage on the prow."

"Dammit. Full speed ahead, lets get to point blank range. Prepare to fire hellfire missiles at that destroyer squadron over there."

"Captain, we've been hailed by that new ship. They're asking for a sit-rep. They appear to be friendly."

"Tell them these chaos ships have came out of the Warp only recently, an-"

"Sir, more Warp signatures. They're coming out...and....they're our reinforcements. Orders, sir?"

"Tell them to attack the Chaos ships. Lets finish this now."

Admiral fictu, now realizing he had the upper hand with his new found allies gave the order to swing round." Draw point blank through those ships. Target command decks and the munition levels. Gun sections are secondary." Fictu eyed the holo map as his along with the other allies closed among the Chaos ranks. He watched with no new found awe of the destruction of the ships in front and beside. These chaos ships were sheerly outmatched by the sheer firepower and size of the Horrorriper. Fictu leaned back in his chair and ejected a cigar. "Note the time and date of this and our kills Blake." Said calmly. "Yessir." Replied Blake

Nikolai watched as Waqora walked back to the shuttle, he waited until the shuttle departed and he walked back to the bridge, Lieutenant Sakrov hurriedly greeted him, "Commander a cluster of new ships have just appeared." Nikolai watched startled as ship kept appearing on the radar screen. He looked at Officer Ford who looked anxiously at the coms officer. Nikolai turned his attention to the coms officer,
"Have you identified the nearest Rustik ship?" The coms officer nodded,
"Its a Ram class destroyer. It is within range of a precision gauss strike on the new ships." He relayed another message as Nikolai looked at the radar again,
"Send a message to HQ and tell them we might need some more reinforcements." He looked worried at the frenzy, "Block all scans coming from any ship. And hail all the new ship: Greetings this is Captain Nikolai of the RUSS Falco, we look towards peaceful relations, but we are prepared to defend our selves. Please identify yourselves as either peaceful or hostile. Do not force us to fight you." He looked as the coms officer sent out the message, and looked once again at the radar.

A message...of sorts...comes back from the lead Chaos ship. It is a recorded message, and consists of what seems to be a young, human girl, of about 12, being tortured in the most horrendous ways possible. Not imaginable, because some of the horrors being inflicted upon the poor victim are worse than you can possibly imagine. The entire video lasts for approximately twenty four years, and is uncut and in real time. The screams of agony are fit to unnerve even the most stone-hearted person.

ooc: The video was for any. The message from the imperial ship was the one that changed.

The battle continued. Fighters from both the chaos flotilla and the Imperial ships fought as lances fired, tearing though armour plating and ripping into the ships.

Missiles rained from both sides, and explosions lit up the space between them. But the Chaos fleet was heavily outgunned, and eventually, down to their last 3 ships, turned and jumped back into the Warp, still brutally damaged.

"Sir, we're linking up with the reinforcement craft. What do we do now?" asked the tactical officer.

Nikolai watched intrigued as the remaining 3 ships disappeared into some thing slightly resembling a black hole, he stood there trying to make sense of what just happened, but seeing as he couldn't he ignored the topic and looked to his com officer, which was looking stumped at the wreckage floating in space. The com officer suddenly looked at Nikolai and said, "Sir we just received a message from the Khornate."

Nikolai thought for a moment about what to say, this was obviously a fanatical race, and he had to choose his words carefully. He looked at the coms officer, "Respond to them: We do not know of this emperor you speak of, but we are sure that he is a great man, we hope that further relations between our two races will be peaceful."

"Sir, a response." reported the comms officer.

"Play it." ordered the captain.

We'll need a delegation of the Ecclesiarchy, in order to bring these lost sheep into the fold."

"Right away sir. Should I send another transmission to these now blessed people?"

"Definitely. Send a message as follows.

Nikolai laughed as the message came back, "Are they serious?" He looked at Officer Ford who was chuckling at the message. Nikolai looked at the com officer, "send them back a message:
We would be honored to be able to send a delegate to your ship. He will be arriving briefly." Nikolai looked at his officers, Ford promptly took a step back leaving Sakrov standing there until he realized what just happened. Sakrov sighed,
"I suppose I should go." Nikolai nodded,
"3 guards will accompany you to their ship." Sakrov boarded the shuttle along with 3 other guards, the shuttle lifted off and sped towards their ship.

"Sir, they're coming." reported the comms officer.

"Alright. Send them landing directions and retract the Void shield. Send the tech-priest down, as well as the resident preacher. I'll have to go too. Tactical, you have the helm." ordered Captain Draknor. "Send a small squad of naval marines too. Might as well have a good first impression."

"Rightio, captain." replied the tactical officer.

Sakrov watched stood up as the shuttle touched down as well as the guards. The shuttle door unfolded and revealed a priest, a captain and a squad of marines. The 3 guards shifted there and here, being out numbered as they were. Sakrov looked to the captain and said, "Hello."

Waqora sat, reading the message from the new contact. The Breaton had watched the entire battle, and decided to sat neutral. After the message from the Chaos, Waqora had tagged their ships with a Warning Flag. He suspected they could be trouble, but they hadn't attacked him. So he ignored their presence. He looked up, scratching the short black hair on his head. Looking at the Intellegence Officer, he sent their reply.

Nikolai paced as he waited for the status report, the coms officer tapped him on the shoulder, "Captain, the United Souls ship asked us what the emperor worshipping race is all about. Nikolai nodded, "Tell them: Addressing your concern for what the race believes in we can only really say that all we know is that they worship their king above all other things. We have currently sent a delegate to their ship to learn more about their culture.
