"That would be an attack submarine." The woman said, offering them all a rice ball stuffed with salmon. "Urran takes pride in ship building and our government makes money by selling certain military weapons. This is an export model submarine that we sell to nations who want a large attack vessel, but cannot afford a nuclear boat. It's diesel powered, has an air independent propulsion system, so it's just as quiet as a nuclear submarine, and can deploy torpedoes, anti ship missiles, and mines. We were hoping that some other nations might be interested in in. But, as you can see." she gestured back to the performance. "We mainly just wanted to share our culture with the world."

"Klara! Grenade!" Krista said, keeping behind her cover. Klara looked back and up to see the grenade at the peak of it's arch. By her judgement, it was going to hit her. The blast radius of a grenade is always five feet more than you can jump, so Klara resorted to the only thing she could do. In a split second, her eyes went red, the pupils slit, and the sclera blackened. She reached up and then spun 360 degrees in her spot. She looked back at the man with the launcher and bared razor sharp teeth. Then she held up the smoking grenade he launched in her hand. Still intact, still active. She tossed it behind her and it exploded at a relatively safe distance. Klara's weapon began to glow red in it's metal parts as she picked it back up and sighted in her target.

"Very. Are colleges a major part of your nations focus? Here the government is spending nearly a third of there budget on the educational system." The flaming man said.

As Klara caught the grenade another landed by her feet and a third appeared as she tossed the first away. They detonated with a powerful burst of fire and searing metal, as they washed over the young soldier like oil over water she didn't feel the heat but rather a slight tingling as she disappeared in a flash of light. The sensation of teleportation was totally indescribable and alien, it wasn't a burning, a stinging, an aching, or a tickling but all of them at once and none of them. She reappeared in the prepping room facing the man wearing the large fur suit he handed her a box of various medical supplies in case she wanted to treat herself as well as a strange colored drink. Meanwhile Krista felt the arcane boulder she was hiding behind rock with the powerful force of the shotgun shells chipping it and sinister pellets whizzed by the corners of the structure.

"Education is mainly privatized in Urran but the quality of such education must meet strict government standards. But, if a student maintains a high enough GPA and a high ACT score, the government will pay for college tuition. If they did really well, books and housing may also be covered. Now it was Krista's turn to get serious. She too had changed just like Klara did, and was getting fed up with being pinned. She emptied the rest of her rifle's magazine by blinding firing to agitate the shotgunner before she slung it over her shoulder and drew her pistol. She then quickly scaled up the rock and jumped off the top, firing a hail of rounds down him.

They nod as they sample more of the food and watch the display all the while enhancing the experience with various narcotics, perfumes, and textured pleasure devices. This grenadier was starting to get on her last nerves. Not only did he take Klara out, but she generally hated getting filled with shrapnel. It was a painstaking process to cut and dig around to find every little piece of metal that entered her. So much so, that she eventually stopped caring and let it sit in herself. She didn't waste time, and sprang towards the last man going into a dead sprint. Her pistol was empty, and she wasn't patient enough to reload it right now, let alone take her rifle off and load another two clips into it. She put her sidearm back into her holster and drew her dagger as she rushed towards her target. Her eyes fixated entirely on reading him as her dagger faintly glowed a dark red that matched her eyes. She gave a battle cry in a multiplexed voice that sounded like she was shouting in several different tones and octaves at the same time. This also revealed a second set of razor sharp teeth in her maw behind the first row.

"My sympathies." The man bowed. "I am not certain what that must be like. The tax rate in Urran is an even ten percent for all, rich and poor. We have a deep respect for the environment in our culture, so other than placing laws on industry and enforcing hunting and fishing regulations, our government doesn't really have any environmèmtal protection programs. Urrans zoos take that responsibility on themselves." He paused. "Now that I think about it, nearly half of our government spending is defense. That, and public transport."

The Luxans seemed slightly apathetic obviously they had much less respect for the environment. To them anything that could die or grow weak deserved to, and that applied to the planets and stars themselves. Luxans actually enjoyed grey wastelands and radioactive pits for purely aesthetic reasons. "What can you tell us about this piece?" the man asked pointing to the new performance.

The man smiled with his entire body as she moved towards him. He slung his weapon across his back and drew a large wicked looking blade that was nearly as long as Krista's arm. It was obvious well used from its rancid condition and it was covered in brown chemical blood stains. It was hard for Krista to stay focused on him as his skin seemed to move and flow like a rippling sea and it radiated a strange wrongness about him. As she lunged at him he effortlessly stepped passed he blade and reach out to seize her knife arm while pulling back his blade for a powerful trust through her chest.

Krista couldn't hit the man solidly enough with her dagger after the man grabbed her arm, but she used her free one to stop him from sticking his knife through her like a shish kabob. She stood there, with the knife barely a few inches away from her body. She started laughing before looking to the man. "Oh come on, don't be like that. I only just got this uniform repaired a few days ago!" She cackled before putting her foot on his torso to force them to separate and springing away to get some distance. "Why don't you try to aim a little higher next time?" She taunted.

The man simply reached out and grabbed her leg as she leap away, a small piece of metal extend from his wrist and sliced her leg almost grazing her tendons. He did it fluidly and casually it was obvious several people had already tried the move Krista just had and he was more than used to it. He threw her into the ground with a solid smash before lunging at her again aiming the blade in his right hand at her throat and the one in his left wrist at her waist. His face was mask of animalistic pleasure like that of a wolf gnawing on bone or or a grub burrowing through cold flesh.

"Trust us sir. It would take more than a god to stop what were sending after him."

-----Lucifers Room-----

A pair of Immortals in their own suits of personally customized armor and each carrying and rifle of some strange alien design stopped outside of the ambassadors room. One of them place a small black cylinder on the ground near the seam of the door and partially unscrewed it. The other aimed at the door with his weapon while the first began chanting silently in a strange language that lacked any vowels or consonants. As he did so a slimy black substance that was similar to tar began oozing out of the cylinder and flowing into the ambassadors room leaving behind a trail of acid eaten carpet.

Fall found him self elbow to elbow in the middle of the square surrounded by people and animals of various shapes and sizes. Many of the creatures were small things kept in tiny wooden or metallic cages; some were vaguely humanoid with distorted features that made them look like imps or fairies. Others were insidious things covered in spine and pincers that kept snapping and biting at each other in fierce fury while still more took the form of normal animals with strange tentacle and polypous growths. The Guards would quickly realize that nearly everyone in the square was armed to some degree and that their was little they could do to guarantee the safety of their leaders in such a chaotic setting.

Fall bid and held up a briefcase over his head to garner the attention of those that sold the creatures. The Guards stuck close and considered calling in air support, although their leader had other ways of cheating death, guards were cheaper than reanimation.

Krista was surely no amateur, and she wasn't about to be bested by some ganger. She put her palm up so that the man's hidden wrist dagger connected and went through that instead of somewhere more serious. However, she had lured the man into a trap. With her sharp reflexes, she caught the man's foot-long knife in her mouth. She smiled with it between her teeth as the sound of scraping metal filled the air. Her stabbed hand closed on the man's left fist and with her free hand, she jabbed her dagger at his throat.

The old lady pulls a small plaque of gold out from a small cupboard and set in front of the Raptor with a large butcher knife. "One of the older and most dependable methods of eternal life and protection from maladies, the Kiss of the Chalice." She said motioning to the gold plate which shimmered with a strange language etched into its surface "The Price" she continued motioning to the knife.

After much haggling Fall walks away with a large semi mammalian creature, sporting large horns tipped with eyes and a mane of tendrils as well as a human like creature that was covered in burn marks and sobbed uncontrollably as the bony aquatic growths all other its body squirmed and twitched. Under his arm he carried a cage filled with a mutant biting thing that resembled a spider like octopus.

She cut deep hitting his neck but as she did so she could see the flesh starting to grow around the blade. In a flash of light the Ganger disappeared along with Kristas blade as the roar of the crowd began to pick up and swell further. A few minutes later Krista was teleported back into the prep room where Klara was having her monitoring implant removed.

Krista took some deep breaths to calm herself down and become normal again. Her cuts healed on their own a lot faster than the average time it would take for a human. However, the holes in her and Klara's uniform would have to be mended again. General Volkova came around to the twins with a smile on her face as they reunited.

"We won." Krista said to her sister.
"Then the pride of the shock troops is still intact."
'Indeed it is." She said before turning to the large man that took them into the arena. "Excuse me, I seem to have misplaced my dagger."

She went through and closed the bolt on her weapons before holstering them again.

[u=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nu4FhROoizA]"Zoku[/u] is a contemporary piece written for traditional drums." the woman explained. "I think that it was based off of an old Urranese war song. I know that the navy drummers played it on National Day last year." she shrugged. The pair ate a few rice balls and looked at the interesting people before them. They were an odd bunch, but Urranese were not ones to judge by appearance.

"Well that was easy, not sure how this arrangement of cutlery and dinnerware extends my desired chemical processes indefinitely. But I feel like I can take on a giganotosaurus." Pilkington declared, rather obviously not getting the implied meaning of the price.

Fall caught up with Pilkington, quite pleased with his acquisitions. "Quit crying you undergrown ape, minions are expected to be professional, no matter how mangled they get." he chastised the new humanoid servant.

The woman reached across the table and with surprising strength held Pilkingtons hand against the table grabbing the knife with the other and holding its edge only a centimeter above his talons. "Payment?!" she said with more emphasis on his fingers. Obvious she expected a piece of him for the plate.

Fall on the other hand found his various new pets to be uncomfortable around him. No doubt it was due to his strange appearance and qualities which they were not accustom to and the tried occasionally to wander off but a quick beating or tug of the leash would show them their new place. The thing under his arm kept yelling and biting anyone that came near obvious more friend towards fall than the others.
