As such, it has been decided that, in order to increase sovereignty over our military, we shall immediately resign from the Alliance for Military Protection.
This decision has passed the Senate and the approval of the monarchy and shall be immediately put into effect.

The dakilistanian marines descend on their intended target, one of the main power facilities of northeastern Cabense. "Operation ultimatum is a go" the men hear through the microphones in their helmets. They land and with little resistance from workers (involving one injured soldier knocked in the head after being flung into the metal machines) they place the E-bomb quickly, and usher the small band of workers out of the building. The chopper takes off with the soldiers inside . The leader sends the ready signal "awaiting further orders sir" through his mic.

Daramonty Air Force Base, Five Minutes prior to Operation Thunderstruck

General Montgomery paced between the rows of waiting Aurora transports, all of them were packed with troops kitted up in various variants of the Typhoon combat armour, though he could see the Borealis transports in the distance starting to spool up their engines.

"Alright everyone!" Montogomery shouted as he passed the three Auroras with the teams carrying the E-Bombs, straining his voice to be heard over at purring engines "This is it. The opening blow! Hit 'em hard! Hit 'em fast! And we'll discuss who got the job done the best when you're all out of there! Come back alive! All of you! The Cabensians don't deserve Tarazedian or Dakilistainian blood on their soil!"
That was all Montgomery was able to get out before the noise of the engines became too great, however he did receive a large number of appreciative salutes before the Aurora rear hatches clamped shut.

Montgomery backed off and gave a final salute as every transport rose into the air and thundered off into the direction of Cabense.

Cabense, Three Hours Later (Point of View of Corporal Jason Higgins)

Higgins placed both hands on the but of his MUAR-09 rifle to keep it steady between his legs as the Aurora banked to the left, rocking slightly as it did so. They were set to touch down in less than five minutes after the past hour and a half of winding through terrain cleared of AA by Canadian Hunsha airstrikes.

"Alright you sacks of shit!" Barked the Gunnery Sergeant from his position near the rear ramp as he stood up, waking several men near him - who looked as if they'd almost suffered a heart attack, "We're over the target LZ in thirty seconds! Get ready for a fast rope insertion!"

Every marine in the rear bay of the Aurora was on their feet, packs on their backs and their weapons (be it MUAR-09s, LRR-12s or R-700-AT/AALs), in less than ten seconds. Higgins was tenth in line for the fast rope on the left side of the Aurora but was at the front of the line less than six seconds after the first man was on the deck. Grunting under the weight of his kit, he rolled over on his left shoulder as he hit the ground, the next man landing landing moments later. Almost instantly gunfire was heard but quickly died down again.
Five seconds later, every man was out of the Aurora and Higgins looked up to see the rope drop onto the sand below and the Aurora speeding off into the distance, tracer firing following it for several seconds - though none of the rounds actually made contact.

"Move up! Take the bastards out!" Barked the Gunnery Sergeant once more as Higgins brought his own weapon up to bear, firing a short burst to drop a militant who'd come charging out of a nearby building about twelve meters away - Higgins noticed both the horror and the surprise on the man's face as he pulled the trigger, clearly they still had the element of surprise.
"Overlord! This is the 122nd!" Came the voice of squad's radioman as the militant's lifeless body hit the ground, and the squad pushed up the hill towards the power station, "Thunder has struck! We are moving to objective. Over!"

"Thunder has struck! We are moving to objective. Over!" Came the voice of the 122nd's radioman through the Tarazedian Battle-NET as Colonel John Bishop swept aside a status report with his right hand, so far the operation was going off without a hitch, they'd well and truly caught the Cabense with their pants down and their asses hanging out.
Bishop promptly opened a channel to the 122nd.
"122nd, this is Overlord. Solid copy, move to grid Delta-Echo-Seven-Sierra-Tango-Romeo and place the package, how copy; over?" Bishop relayed as he received green lights from every team involved in the operation.
"Move to grid Delta-Echo-Seven-Sierra-Tango-Romeo and place the package, solid copy. Will relay any difficulties or mission success," Replied the radioman quickly as the TAC-MAP infront of Bishop updated, showing all teams moving towards their objectives.
"Good luck, Overlord out," Bishop finished as he closed the channel. Only for him to receive a 'mission complete' burst from the Dakilistanian marines.
"Awaiting further orders sir," reported the marines' radioman as the channel stabilized.
"Solid copy. Proceed to grid Echo-Echo-Six-Oscar-Tango-Juliet and await extract..." Bishop affirmed as he noted that Operation Ultimatum - the codename used for the Dakilistanian marines' mission - was a success, "An Aurora has been rerouted to evac you within three minutes of you reaching the point. Overlord out."

The government of Yttreskia has agreed to honour the non-aggression pact proposed by Tarazed, in a move to bring security to an ever volatile region.

The attacks against the Islamic state however, are still ongoing, with Yttreskian armed forces moving further into the northern Pakistan, and capture of the capital city Islamabad is looking imminent. The operation is set to continue until the entirety of the Pakistan region is liberated by Yttreskian or allied forces.

The Yttreskian government has also ordered the annexation of the currently unclaimed territory of Nepal, citing strategic importance to the nation.

Tarazedian forces deployed to ISW territories will be returning to Tarazed within the next few weeks as the last hunt for ISIS fighters starts to draw to a close.

"We have 60% of teams outbound Colonel," reported one of Bishop's advisers as they joined him by the Battle-NET display, causing him to let out a sigh of relief.

On the display, most of Northern Cabense was shown to be suffering a complete blackout - courtesy of the E-Bombs. All that remained was a section by the lower landing beach - the power plant and tank depot.

122nd Squad, 32 meters from objective

"Let's move!"
"Covering fire!"
"Nail that bastard with the MG in the window!"
"He's down!"
"Higgins! Move up!"
A barrage of sound assaulted Higgins' ears (both from the Battle-NET and from the gunfire around him) as he moved forward - E-Bomb in hand, firing his Cobra-M5RFH blindly as he moved up to the next piece of cover (three empty oil barrels). Bullets impacted all around him as he returned fire, shooting another militant square between the shoulder-blades as he tried to run backwards to higher ground - dropping like a stone as soon as he was hit.
"Overlord this is 213th Squad! We're outbound. Tanks are out of action!" reported the radioman of 213th squad as their Aurora flew overhead towards the coast.
"Overlord, this is 122nd Squad. We're pinned by three MGs about twenty meters north-north-east of our position, request Invictus gunship support!" Shouted 122nd's radioman before Overlord could even acknowledge 213's report.
"Overlord copies all, stand by for support. Invictus gunship Charlie-Echo is three miles east of your position. They have visual on your position and request you mark target area with green smoke," Came the conclusive acknowledgement from Overlord as three Tarazedian marines moved further up towards the target building, throwing fragmentation grenades to cover their advance.
Screams of agony soon followed as a series of detonations rang out.
"All right! Cover Daniels while he marks the targets!" Ordered the gunnery sergeant as one marine - Daniels - moved forward to throw the green smoke.

At that moment, the Tarazedian marines unleashed a hail of gunfire which killed any militant foolish enough to stick their heads up at that given time and suppressed the survivors. Many marines took this as an opportunity to advance to reach a better position.
Moments later however, there was a distinct cough and green smoke began to pour from one of the upper windows of the building housing the MG nests.
"Everybody! On the ground now!" Screamed the gunnery sergeant as the smoke lipped out of the window and passed the roof.

Nobody needed to be told twice.

Mere seconds later, an earth-shattering BOOM thundered across the area as the MG building simply vanished in a hail of dust and fire. Tarazedian marines scrambled to their feet - some of them with bleeding ears - and stormed the remaining position, taking care of the stunned Cabense.

"Overlord! This is 122nd squad!" Reported the squad's radioman as everyone vacated the area and made for the evac point, "Object is in place, exfiling now!"

"Overlord copies all. Detonate E-Bomb when out of range."

TNV Damion White, Situation Room, Five minutes later

Colonel Bishop had the largest grin on his face as the final E-Bomb detonated - graying out the final swab of North Cabense which remained on the display, completely eliminating Cabense's ability to respond to Tarazed's forthcoming landing. Cabense would not be able to field their nearby tanks until they were brought up from the south and they would need to resupply their men with working lock on weapons. It was a victory in every sense.
"Send the word to the President, Operation Thunderstruck was successful..." Bishop ordered as he removed his earpiece and wiped the sweat from his brow, "Launch the landing parties and airborne units. Operation Two to Tango is a go...and we have complete strategic dominance."

The Tarazedian Fleet closed in on the blacked out Cabense coastline, when anyone who had slept through the fighting awoke. They would be in for a rude awakening...

"...We have won a victory!" yelled John Williams, John Williams got off of his podium,a young young soldier who looked to be about 20 walked up,(the soldier was Hans Fisher a 22 year old soldier who fought in the ISW he was a new soldier who finished training and was stationed at a base in The Netherlands, and when war broke out with the ISW he was sent if was promoted 2 times to Private First Class) He grabbed the microphone and sang the Canadian Hunsha national anthem,after he was done fireworks flew up, soldiers who fought in the ISW were doing a parade, it was a great day.
