Done you can post. You also need to respond to what Jovana said before you continue with the Chinese diplomat

Ok, but the post will be rather short probably, because I'll be responding just to you, and not to Ren Li-Mei. Because, again, I don't really know why she's here.

Just a greeting. You can also said that it was unexpected considering your declaration from before to have the pleasure of talking to her.

I have now posted in the IC. Basically, while the president is away, one of the leaders of one of the regions has persuaded other politicians to aid him towards his ultimate goal of war with China. Also, for reference, the planes sent, SSR-37s, are mach six manned planes that basically only rely on speed to evade other aircraft and missiles, which they are perfectly capable of doing, as almost all missiles, and certainly all fighters, are not capable of such speeds. However, Senkaku, if you wish, you can misinterpret this as an actual attack, because the planes have absolutely zero stealth capabilities, and you can choose to attempt to shoot them down (and most likely fail). But either way, you're pretty much 100% guaranteed to notice them, either by the radar, or just by the very loud noise that they make.

I love how you say Evade.

What are they, Bombers? Because they can't be fighters or anything else. Oh, and, they can't move at Mach 6 while bombing. No way in hell. Not unless you've done some fancy heat tiling and whatnot for the bombs.

They aren't bombers or fighters. I didn't state it in this post, but in the IC, I said that they are reconnaissance planes, to spy on the enemy.

Alright. That's good. Also, you say evade missiles, but based on previous posts, all I need to know is your next position.

So it seems I don't need a missile.

You need to know the position in a specific moment in time and to make a missile fly that way and hit the same position in the same time a plane is in the air.
Also I think that too many people play the Aurora card...
Edit: and I forget about a small thing. This is a plane that is already in the atmosphere. It is unwieldy due to its size and speed but still maneuverable to a small extend. Unlike your mach 30 missile during reentry.

I think that is 2025 its perfectly reasonable to have a hypersonic drone. It just won't really have any capabilities other than "hypersonic." So, limited payload, poor maneuverability, no stealth, etc. But yeah, I think its fine.

Well, you can have some level of stealth around the actual drone itself. Just not it's heat signature.

Yes, to confirm all this, it really can't carry hardly any payload, and it's not very maneuverable, and also it has pretty much no stealth.

I'm so happy that I'm actually part of a real rp. I've been looking at the other threads in international relations, and they're almost all absolute crap. The people all post one-liners and generally terrible posts. This is the best one I've seen.
