Aha- but, you see, the Chinese don't need to waste troops keeping order on the home front. No true citizen would ever dissent, and for the microscopic percentage who dare to do so, the Red Guards can just disappear them. The armed MSS is made up of people deemed not fit for military service, which is quite a few people given that the physical requirements are quite high, but are loyal enough that they can still be put to use

Btw, the Chinese aren't interested in Congreveopia, but they are interested in the subcontinent post-Indochina. That'll be Springing Dragon Stage Two- Siberia and India, but that'll probably come when everyone is tied up with Oale, after the Chinese consolidate their holdings more.

China could be friends with whoever wants a piece of the pie that is Asia. So, actually, if the Padnakis feel like it, they could negotiate a deal with the Chinese and potentially an alliance to protect against the interdimensional cat-people. And they'd probably value Padnaki oil above help from their fellow Communists (I assume you're fellow Commies, DEN?), because it's easier to denounce them as having strayed from the path of Mao Zedong Thought than have all their vehicles run out of oil.

Huh, looks a lot like my list. Though mine also includes tracking down the specs/write-ups of all my ships and stuff and making sure they're all up to date.

Because this is getting really complicated, who's friends with who and whats going on in regards to alliances and that sort of thing

Primary purpose is to prevent that one nation from committing genocide against the Imazunese, though it looks like that may not be an issue anymore. Though I suppose there's still HATE to worry about.

Moving ships to defend Japan also puts them within striking range of China, without appearing hostile to the Chinese. China's massive-scale mobilization and subsequent attacks on neighboring territories is obviously highly worrying, and I intend to put an end to it, but I need more time to mobilize enough forces before I provoke Chinese aggression.

Then I plan on helping defend Padnak from a DEN invasion, but so far IC there's no way for me to know DEN's intentions, so I can't do anything about it yet.

No, you get the rest of Indonesia. The Chinese want the mainland, but they'd be willing to let the Padnakis trade there. Malaysia could be sort of a co-operative area, although officially controlled by China. You, me, and OS could gang up on DEN, though all for different reasons (me basically because I need oil and have no other options, and it's the most convenient way), and then you can do what you like as long as you gib China teh oilz (selling it for a fair price, of course).

The Chinese probably won't even react. They have no interest in bothering the Japanese. They'll be busy trying to rope in some allies, or at least people whose goals line up with theirs, since Ren Li-Mei will have finally persuaded them they need to.
