As for DEN, I want you to know that I'm got giving you special treatment. This is normal. Also, answer me this:
Why do you insist on using technology that doesn't exist, and claim that it would work in a situation in the near future. 2025 is not that far away, and most of what you suggest could be possible, just a lot farther in the future. Also, most of the ideas you've said are only marginally better then what is already in service, so I don't see a use for it.

As stated by the majority of the forums, PMT is 2020+. In the IC and the OOC, it is mentioned that this takes place in 2025, or eleven years in the future from PitP 1, which was in 2014.

Can you give me a good reason as to why I shouldn't kick you now? I'm trying to find a reason, but it's pretty hard.

I think the problem is because PMT is such a nebulously-defined tech period. Some people define solar-system spanning empires as PMT because they don't have interstellar travel, some people think an RP set in a year is PMT. Plus, people have different ideas of how fast technology would progress in whatever the intervening period is, since no one can actually know.


Correct me if I'm wrong, DEN, but it seems like you really enjoy all the technical jargon and integration of various advanced systems that wouldn't really go together IRL (active defense on suborbital stealth bombers, etc.). I don't see any reason why you can't use all that and talk about how super-advanced everything you have is- as long as it has its problems (like being mind-blowingly expensive) and as long as it's really not that much better, when you use it, than other people's stuff.

That's just my opinion though.
