A High Imperial Guard walks onto the stage. Waiting for silence, the Imperial Guard says "Ladies and Gentlemen! The Imperial Lord of Kisia!" He then moves to the side, as applause erupts from the crowd, as the Imperial Lord walks onstage, and as three more High Imperial Guards follow him, and then stand at various assigned spots. Imperial Lord Varolk raises his hands for silence. Once the clapping stops, Varolk begins the message.

"For many years now, we have been constantly annoyed by the large crime increase in our nation. Well, I have a solution to this problem. What if we somehow "inherit" all of a gangs weapons, gang members, vehicles, and such? This will decrease crime by a good 90 percent, as gangs will have no equipment to enforce their will. Well, thats what were doing. As of today, Kisia shall be turned into a Imperial Syndicate Empire! Gang members shall be rehabliitated into productive members of socitey, vehicles shall be sold to other nations, and weapons will be sold to other nations as well. And 75 percent of this income will go to you! Gang arms trading shall be managed by the government, as well as narcotics. So embrace our new government, and give it a chance to work. I promise you, this is the beginning of a new Kisia!

Mass Relay Project Complete!

After six long years of production the Ministry of Stellar Affairs and the MOSDC have pulled together large quantities of Credits from their budgets to produce mass relays for IFMO territory. The first of the 5 relays was unveiled this morning in the home system of the IFMO, The Titus Verge.



For those who still do not know, mass relays are the element zero equivalent to wormholes or jump gates. With their large mass effect cores they have the ability to propel vessels across the galaxy in less than half the time it takes with conventional FTL drives. They do have limitations, however. These relays are only in IFMO territory and, while they have been modified to jump to anywhere in the known galaxy, the trip back would be quite long. Due to this mass drives on most Omegan vessels are undergoing refitting to improve their speed, range, and capacity to endure longer voyages.

Along the fortress planet of Reach, the 3rd and 4th Imperial Fleets were preparing to jump into Backje territory. Each fleet consisted of 2 Executor class dreadnaughts, 20 Keldabe class battleships, 40 Bastion-class crusisers, 45 Katana-class frigates, and 55 Imperial-class corvettes. As the fleet merged into formation it entered hyperspace heading straight for backje territory.
