An advantage to a Syndicate Gov't is that the Government often control the major crime industries (Mafia's, Cartels, Inter-national gangs, etc.), so they control narcotics, alcohol, weapons, etc. Its basically where the government is a big crime family. Sorta similar to one of the factions in my civil war, the pirates, only for you, not as evil or maniacal in intent.

EDIT: This is not always bad, though it is illegal in some senses. Think Bolivian politics. Drugs/arms trade rules all. Now, the people get rich to, and they mainly use the nation as a Swiss Bank and a manufacturing depot, so they aren't evil.

Well as long as it doesn't go over the edge I'm good with it. Your corruption will obviosly be an internal Kisian matter.

I have a lot of information on not-so-much used government types. I also know a Socialist Monarchy as well as a Democratic Peoples Syndicate (Both very complicated)

Sure. Here we go:

This I found in a very old book about the Romans, though only the ideology, and again in another fantasy book. It is where a Syndicate Empire is run by a socialist democracy. Essentially it is where the people are ruled by a democracy, where things are heavily linked to crime. The president, consul, etc is often a Mafia/Cartel? etc boss, and the congress/senate is all the smaller, less dominant crime syndicates. The people who are not involved are essentially the House of Representatives in the US, or the Pleb council thing in Rome. They hold a massive amount of power in unions, trade etc of the sort, while the Senate and Prez are the traders, the owners, the builders etc. They would make deals to sell narcotics, weapons etc to foreign prospects. Although the Senate and prez have the most power, they can not do anything with out the H.O.R.'s go. If they have a deal lined up, for example, that would loosen Union control, then the HOR would say no. However, assassination, bribes, and intimidation run rampant. Usually people who have jobs like Drug Farmers, Weapon Manufacturers, etc live good lives, and those who make lesser goods (ie computers) are poorer, because the entire nation is like a company. Or a black market.

Hope this helps. I learned this from some fantasy book, as well as the idea from a Roman book about one scholars thinking on how Rome should be run. As you must know, it was never implemented.

Did i say how many had moved to my nation or when?

Personally i want to leave the alliance but i want to have a final war against you guys before i go. I've had a guy offer to join me against you guys and i think it could be fun but if you guys just want to ignore the idea of a guy having an opinion or should i say a sense of what he's doing look before you leap and CAREFULLY read a post before judging it.

Well, yeah you have. You didn't ask any of us if it was okay to butcher our citizens. So yeah, you did a big GodMod there.

This guy; it wouldn't happen to be either a.) The Steppe Empire or b.) Chronosia, would it?

[OOC: Yeah...Steppe's people were "bred for war", and they've been pummelled into peace talks. Just because they are "bred for war" doesn't make you invincible. Remember that.

And God help you if it is Steppe. The entire JSA will likely come down on you like a ton of bricks if it is.]

PFM if you want to leave all you need to do is SAY IT! We don't need to have an "end war" every time someone leaves the JSA. Then we'd be destroyed. PFM for everyone's sake just make an announement in the thread saying that you are leaving. You don't need to cause all of this havoc.

1/ The HOR is sort of the civvies. They are the workers, etc. So yes.

2/ Yes, simply out. The HOR has sorta veto power. They decide what is to be passed, but the Prez and Senate own all.
