Consider trade like this, its a web if your ally trades with a person, you by default trade with them because goods and services flow between nations (if you have an open system) so either or the person your ally is trading with is gaining additional income, this also lays the foundation for an economic power, you guys have a-lot of trade with me so by default your goods and services (what every you can offer, though we usually pass up most material goods unless their antiquities or unique items due to post scarcity economics, but we do transport goods making us sort of like a trade link to other nations.) Are available to my allies (a large number of nations I might add), so your getting a lot of income as am I by providing you with links. So it is a mutually beneficial relationship. With steppe his aggressive attitudes and warmongering costs him trade partners and allies and sending money and stuff to him only allows him to build bigger guns in order to hurt people. Conquest is not good for the economy if its universal .

No Kisia. Not unless he attacks the JSA or her allies. For now we'll place a harsh embargo upon his goods. No trade with steppe until he chooses to renounce his aggressive ways (which'll probably never happen but one could always hope right?). Oh and cool new flag Kisia. I like it!

And Nua basically the aggressor of the Hyperborian war, the Steppe Empire, is at it again by invading yet another galactic civilization without provocation. The JSA is going to place an embargo upon him but I can't do it just yet. I'll let you know why in a sec.

Attention all JSA members!

Today JSA history has been made. The JSA joint Council has been officially formed on Delta Capita! We will be meeting normally on every Friday or in cases of special emergency. Anyone can call an emergency session of council. Please see section 2 of the Doctrine for more details. The thread is up on the current threads list! Please pick a name for your ambassador. That is who you will be RPing as in the sessions (and and of his/her aids or secretaries of course). Here's to a new beginning in JSA politics!

Since no one is on other than me, Nua, and Hornopolis I'll call the session for tomorrow. This is a special case since I actually made it on a Friday night (smart).

Well representatives from JSA members tend to be living at Delta Capita otherwise your leader would ICly have to go from homeplanet to Delta Capita every week and...well it couldn't really be done. Just make your representative an ambassador from Delta Capita. All of us have those.

Also I plan on Engaging Steppe Empire this time (not going to let my allies get creamed this time (also its sort of my job as minister of defense))

Firstly you can choose your rep and then RP as him/her during sessions. Secondly we aren't going to war again with Steppe...yet. Not unless he attacks the JSA or her allies.

My Rep is going to be Andy Murphy. (the only regular sounding name in my nation)

Also if Steppe gets to agressive he is going to have atleast 1 more large nation bearing down on him. :)
