FTLi tech of course would block this. Would they or you for that matter consider it a god mod or respectfully be like dam nice move. The idea of course would be that i would have to sacrifice a ship or use a hyper expensive and rare weapon that my Savior class Battleship would have only one of. (then need to be rearmed and refueled. i currently have 6 Saviors).

If that happened and you destroyed a Federal ship then I would deploy my FTLi and say 'touche'

You mean our mass relays? Uh that's quite a feat and seems a little too unlikely. You see they use the mass effect to propel vessels across the galaxy beyond standard FTL speeds. It's primarily used for ship travel. To make what you are proposing would require a mass relay at LEAST 5 times bigger than that planet and each planet is a diferent size. That's deprive us of trillions or more. It can't really be done. In any case my mass relays "inner workings" are classified. The ability to harness such power is quite valuable. Sorry Kisa.

Sounds suspicious, I don't like it that you are keeping secrets from the JSA ...

That's a tough one Dbrought. You'd need this technology to at least make sense a little in sci fi tech terms to make it more believable and...possible. A lot of people use interdimentional tech in their FTL travel so I can't say its a flat out god mod. Maybe a bit of a long shot but not a god mod.

so you would allow it because it has a counter/ defense? also note this would require a line of sight observer to provide targeting data. so i would need to have a ship that sees the target to hit the target. this would also make it hard to target fast moving ships and would likely only be used against mostly stationary/ moving linearly capital class and installations.

no. my intent though was if i got an opinion from you guys who aren't exactly allies but aren't really enemies i could get an unbiased opinion. that way i could rework the idea until it was both fair and powerful. also unless you guys attack me i for god knows what reason i'm pretty sure i'm smart enough to not pick a fight with the JSA.

Well, in the event that the Commonwealth gets in a scrap with you and you use your Kamakazi attack, I would allow it, its a pretty good idea, except for the part about all those dead crewmen ...

Jesus Hornopolis, slow down on the flags... its hard to keep track of who's who otherwise. :p
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.- Carl Sagan

skeleton suicide crew of course. or emergency evacuation proceeded by this which i would equate to an uber ramming move only better.

I find the best thing is to find a flag that symbolizes your nation, like mine does for my Earth II nation (which was my main one when I got the flag.

Guys please take a look at the threads list. The old "IFNN" thread is now open to all JSA. It's now a JSA news and propaganda thread. Self explanitory. This is the new place to post your news updates and propaganda with each of your news networks. Hornopolis can cover his resourses war and Nua's civil war news and so on. So let's try to get this thread going again. Post news and updates whenever possible in this thread guys. Thanks.

I've got to weigh in here guys.. .What? shooting planets? one should not have the power to shoot planets at a whim, that's beyond mind numbing. However one could turn a planet in to a "free planet" , with the right tech (my people have muddled with that idea) but its... Complicated (lensman reference)

At any rate I do not wish to spam your thread but I still have those ships hanging around and I could send a diplomat to the negotiations in chazarks thread from the fleet if need be? I just need to know where they are going on icly.. so I can help you out.

@Kisia, TFU

Without using a 'mass effect relay' to jettison the planet around, why not attach a hyperspace to a planet and it could be a moving home/fortress ... it would take maybe a long time, but West-Tek Research could always help kisian contractors ... You'll have to forgive me for reiterating TFU's comment here, but...

What in the fuck?

Are you telling me you're tired of making large chunks of metal filled with people move faster than light, so now it's time we started doing it with entire friggin' planets? Are you absolutely mental?!

Just build a Death Star and cover all the exhaust ports with planks of wood. Problem solved.
