Well he's welcome. The war is over and, although steppe may not be my favorite person in the world, I'd like to improve intergalactic relations with all peoples. Of course that won't really mean that steppe and I are now best friends.

Oh no I understand. Steppe killed over 4,000 MOSDC officers and destroyed 5 ships in that brief but bloody battle that we were in. Trust me I'm no fan but I'd like to at least get a bit more on the friendlier side of my former enemies. You know just so they don't do it again.

Yeah I doubt he'll jump at a chance of friendship but it shouldn't hurt to try. At least the treaty and neutral zone act as a non aggression barrier.

Well, it seems that he's going to. A military-grade ship entering the neutral zone effecively voids the treaty. I'll have to ask Abh on the matter but it's rather obvious that Steppe's up to something sinister.

I've had a chat with TFU already informing him that the JSA will not condone nor support an unprovoked Terran atack on Steppe. As much as we may dislike him (dislike is used lightly) we must still keep the Gal Mali Accords intact. Same goes for the neutral zone. I'm gonna TG him to make sure that he doesn't make any more wrong moves. It's in his best interest to listen. He highly values his trade with me and Ozy and does not wish to put it in jeopardy.

And no you are all good unless you trade weapons with him which is strictly forbiden by the doctrine. A good trade contrct has, thus far, proved useful to both of you. Just don't let it turn into a military alliance. I don't want you two to get sucked into this conflict.

while its true he is willign to negotiate i hate to say but i will not be agreeing to it. unconditional surrender after (in my nations eyes) of a succesful (if quite costly) operation would be very straining on the government. i would respect the JSA if they did not assist me after my council either negotiates better terms or flat out refuses and continues to fight, as it is not their fight to be embroiled with and lose their troopers for the sake of mine. though i would also respect them if they came and helped. either way it is each JSA members decision and i will not try to influence that. but thank you for the current support at managing (at least partly) to bring him to the negotiation table. either way it gives me a bit of a better chance. millatry wise and Diplomatically wise. for this i am grateful.

Not at all. Steppe committed genocide at Gendo, and i've heard nothing of attacking civillian vessels.
