The political climate in Washington is boiling with partisanship and inefficiency; the people of the nation are outraged, but reject calls to militancy and extremism. Congress is split between the Democrats and the Republicans, and even then, allegiances can be blurred. The next President and his Cabinet must be prepared to break all moral codes, without facing retribution from opportunistic enemies. It is up to those who take charge, know their way, and are willing to break any and all rules to save the country, but the question is: what's in it for them?

Briefing: All laws are as they are as of August 1st, 2014. The House and Senate numbers are completely up to how many people sign up. Partisanship is completely to the discretion of the OP, Vlad, so most of you will be a (D) or an (R), unless you can make a damn good claim to be otherwise, and you're special. The Cabinet shall be condensed and composed of 4 positions. The condensed positions will be outlined further down. There are 6 named positions within the White House, 4 named positions within the Senate, and 5 named positions within the Hill. The Whips shall be able to appoint deputy whips at their own discretion. All players must have 2 characters, however both characters must have enough political distance between them. Some players may be granted the ability to have 3 characters, if they so like.

Elected as a House Representative from Maine's 1st district in 2006, Morris later resigned his position in 2008 to serve as an economic adviser to Barack Obama. Upon Treasury Secretary Jack Lew's resignation in 2015, Morris was soon appointed and confirmed as Lew's replacement. As Treasury Secretary, Morris has favored broadly New Keynesian economic policies, and maintaining current interest rates for the time being.

He is vehemently opposed to many issues such as LGBT Rights, Universal Healthcare, and Welfare, and is also a subtle racist. He is well-liked in the Deep South and is infamous for being a little shady at times. He was born into a Middle Class family in Jackson, Mississippi, and married his wife at age 22. He is only working for his own interests and ambitions. He has alienated his daughter, claiming she is "leftist, socialist scum." He is also an interventionist. He served in the United States Army from 1979 to 1986.
