Westen Weise Pocket 1944 [WW2T] SIGN-UPS OOC

Semi-Historical RP Based on the Eatsern Front in WW2.

A recent offensive in Kursk has crippled the Wehrmacht, forcing it into retreat on much of the Eastern Front. Amongst the chaos of the retreat is the 28th Army commanded by General Friedrich Aldas, an officer from Wolffendorf (annexed by Nazi Germany in 1938). The 28th Army under direct orders from Adolf Hitler has been assigned the duty of holding a patch of land known to the Germans as Westen Weise. Counter offensives by the Red Army have kettled the 28th Army into a pocket - The Westen Weise Pocket. Holding the pocket is vital for the Germans due to the large number of troops, vehicles, supplies and land it contains. Taking the pocket is vital for the Soviets because it will open the front for an offensive into Poland and towards Germany.

I can't find a record of a "52nd Army".However,there is a whole Wikipedia page on the Soviet "52nd Army",which was also fighting the same front and years.So I think that's what you mean.

I actually made all the units up based on actual armies, If you want to be Soviets you could be the 14th Shock Army? Its based on the 4th Shock army, I think they have a wikipedia page too.

Would you mind being a company sized unit of 500th Bewährungsbataillone attached to the 28th Army? Say around 80-200 men?
