The Black Death (a Genuan rebirth RP) IC

It's 14 century Europe, a time of darkness and death as Bubonic plague, the so called Black Death spreads through town and cities, killing millions. Everywhere small amounts of people are fleeing from infected areas. However there is hope for the masses, through extensive care the disease can be eradicated. However the last uninfected people capable of this treatment, have fled the norths of Norway. Your objective is to guide your character through Europe in order to escape this horrible death. Can you escape one of the most deadly plagues ever?

Rules
1. All players start off in the early stages of infection, and will steadily grow weaker.
2. Players must start off in one of the starting points.
3. Players have 2 weeks (IRL) to get their people to safety. 1 day IRL will count as 2 in game.
4. The OPs word is law
5. No Godmodding or Metagaming.

Alright the thread has begun. All players make your opening moves.

Having been looked at by the court doctor, James decides to take his chance and flee north on one of the royal ships, taking his personal body guards (4 knights and 1 archer) towards the shores of Normandy. His father was quiet eager to get the heir to the throne out safety, and was kind enough to send a small party with him, including a general doctor, and a bard. He sets sail from Paris, leaving behind his life of luxury. With him he takes his street kit (assorted lock picks, beggars clothes, a dagger, and set of small poison vials), his lump sum of cash, now shrunk by a series of purchases he made on shore( a sword, muiple kegs, some charcoal, a lockbox, and a new map), his precious cat xiaver, and his normal clothes and a few othe small things in the ships hold.

OOC: it'll take time to reach Normandy. About 1 day IRL. In the meantime, anything can happen.

With London being one of the biggest, if not the biggest, cities in the world right now and densely populated. Alden realises this is a place where the plague will thrive if it reaches the city. He decides to leave for his family's land in the countryside of northern England. He takes his family, dogs, as much money as they can take and some servants with him. Leaving some servants behind to care for the estate in London.

Being a studious and all-knowing Literature/History student, Jonathan travels quickly to Munich to fetch his sister, before joining his parents (in another similar carriage by themselves), fleeing to the Black forest. He grabs a large sum of money (300,000), his literature notes, his dagger, his rusty but iron-hard shield and some basic food rations.

Event: On the road to Normandy, a middle aged beggar flags down James coach. "Please my lord, if you take me with you, I can give you some information that may prove valuable". The man appears to be plague free. What is your reponse?

Dieter, after getting everyone in his party checked for the Plague, departs for Cologne. With him are the priest and 3 other knights, along with all their supplies they are able to carry with them on their horses. Avoiding the dead bodies littering the streets of Paris, the infected asking for a blessing, which the priest quickly gave on his horse, and the mass graves outside the city, the party finally gets away from Paris and into the countryside.

Dieter, after getting everyone in his party checked for the Plague, departs for Cologne. With him are the priest and 3 other knights, along with all their supplies they are able to carry with them on their horses. Avoiding the dead bodies littering the streets of Paris, the infected asking for a blessing, which the priest quickly gave on his horse, and the mass graves outside the city, the party finally gets away from Paris and into the countryside.

As dieter and his knights move through the dense bocage, a crew of bandits jump out, ambushing them,and tipping a knight from his horse. Do you run and leave the man? Or risk your lives to fight the bandits?

Dieter and his knights attack the bandits, killing most of them before the remaining ones run off. Dieter helps the knight who fell off his horse back onto his horse, and they continue on their way to Cologne at the fastest speed they could manage.

The bandits cannot stand against 3 knights, and run off, the knight climbing back on his horse.

Having drank all their mead and eaten through most of their rations, the royal entourage decides to make a short stop in a German port. A local healer diagnosed one of the crewman to have the plague, and as a result the crewman is dismissed from the ship. A new crewman is hired, they purchase many herbs that the court doctor am the local healer recommend, and being to wear plague masks filled with the herbs. They plan to purchase new rations, a few more barells of mead, and pick up 2 knights from the local castle to accompany them on their journey. Prince Henry accompanies a group of his knights a little inland to a trio of his friends in hopes that he may bring them along. The trio consists of a thief, a very georgous looking girl who happens to be a con artist, and lastly a lowly squire who no longer has a knight to follow since his knight perished. They all bring along their belongings and the cash the trio has aquired.

Prince Henry picks up a trio of friends he knows in the town from when he went to school here as a kid. The trio consists of a thief, a very georgous looking girl who happens to be a con artist, and lastly a lowly squire who no longer has a knight to follow since his knight perished. They all bring along their belongings, including a fund of 43,000, a set of fresh bandit gear, disguises, and a full set of knights belongings.

They resume sail for Norway, sails at full ready, and begin regular checks of the passangers conducted by the ships doctor.

Events: When dieter wakes up, he notices that round spots and slight swelling has occurred in his upper thighs. He could continue on to Cologne or head somewhere else. He has no idea what the swelling is related to.

James, choosing to ignore the beggar, arrives in Normandy. He is told that the port is no longer shipping,and advised to try Calais. However, he is forced to spend a night in the city, as the hour was late.

Alden reaches the country house. It appears that he will be safe.

Jonathan arrives in Munich, but agrees to stay the night in the city,while his sister packs her belongings.

Meanwhile, Jonathan also refills his food rations, adds some sacks of money to his wallet, grabs a few weapons, and strengthens the carriages. He stops working for an early night's rest.

Having no option but to stay in the town, he assigns guard duties to all armed personel on his ship, locks all containers he can, and decides to remain the night docked on the ship. He decides to pursues his plan of reaching his friends, despite being told the city is closed, and sends 6 men inland, sneaking through the town, to attempt to get to them.

With a time machine Rawlincia sends some antibiotics and sells them as magical potions and makes billions of dollars in gold.

Jonathan wakes up in the morning with 3 rosettes on his left arm. Being a studious man, he can diagnose his condition as bubonic plague. Luckily, because he's in the country, there is no restrictions on his movements.

James wakes up with a terrible cough. He is not sure whether he has the plague,or just a cold. He could go to the doctor, or leave the city.

James is diagnosed with bubonic plague. As Normandy is a locked down city, the doctor will tell the governor. You will to either dispose of the doctor or let your name get added to the list, which will restrict your movements.

James plots out his option, a decides to quietly assisnate the doctor using his street smarts. He sets the doctors house on fire, and the doctors shop ablaze as well, and jumps the doctor quietly at first chance.
