Imperial pilot did what they could to distract and destroy what AA/PD turrets they could and assaulting whatever they could on the ground via the Mutated soldiers.

Meanwhile, Imperial satellites spotted the fleet moving over the ocean and contacted the invasion fleet, giving them the order to be prepared to engage.

Air support had little effect- they certainly took out some of the emplacements (and lost an appropriate number of fighters in the process), but biggest of the turrets have laid waste to most of the harbor area, blocking almost all streets and razing the buildings down. Infected soldiers were almost completely eliminated, either by friendly or Imperial fire. Now that infected have been dealt with, Imperials could focus on the defenses but... buildings were coming down, streets were almost completely blocked and there was dust and smoke everywhere. Two million people were effectively trapped in the district filled with crumbling structures and explosions. And to make it worse, auto defenses launched shells filled with highly corrosive gas occasionally, destroying gas mask filters, exposed circuitry and living tissue on contact.

Unable to launch cruise missiles due to its own jamming, rebel fleet stayed at some 100 miles away from the Imperials- out of range of cannons and lasers, but within range of their own railguns. Vessels armed with close and medium ranged weaponry took positions on the edges of the great formation, followed by heavier cruisers and battleships, while carriers and support ships stayed in the middle. Submarine detachments, scout and attack drones patrolled around the armada.

The Imperial government replied that their position on this current war was to quell the rebellion of the 'Tornikan Army, and also reported that their Military was, "Too busy." to war on yet another theater , but also requested that the Serbians only engage rebel-held areas for the time being. Seeing as the rebels held 70% of the colony anyway.

However, a secret transmission was sent to the 'Tornikian government stating that they will assist ASAP but cannot do anything without those Guardsmen reinforcements and an joint invasion of both Rebel and Serbian held territory.

Furthermore, the NATA alliance officially declared war upon the Rebels and began sending their own forces to Miscarcand and will be landing thirty-five miles east of the Imperial forces.

Before closing the connection, Rebel command stated that it was shocking that Imperials would make such catastrophic strategic mistakes, sarcastically pointing out that despite being divided, they still had Imperials outteched, outgunned, and outnumbered.

Meanwhile, Loyalists rolled out of their bases and cities. Having drafted dozens of millions of civilians, and reactivated most of their reserves, the National Army was determined to take the fight to the rebel held areas. With frequent rebel hit and run strikes, their attack was going slower than expected but they advanced steadily nevertheless.
However, Rebels didn't wait for the enemy to come for them- they had significant industrial and military assets in Daguerreo and continental areas they controlled. Northern fleet, stationed in Daguerreo's northernmost island sailed out, attacking/requisitioning any ship heading for NATA territory. The issue was, that fleet alone had almost four thousand naval squadrons at its disposal (according to NStracker way more than the Northern Alliance countries combined), supported by no smaller amounts of aircraft. While Imperials, Loyalists and Serbs were pressing the fleet operating in the area known as the Central Ocean among the 'Tornikians, northern shores of the Empire itself were seriously threatened.

Around ten minutes later the carcases of hostile helicopters, civilian-style planes and modified technical were scattered around fields and roads. Imperial M-2's were already pounding the city from afar, guarded by platoons of Imperial soldiers. While seemingly another armor company and Impeiral PJTs were engaging hostiles in the city.

None-the-less Imperial forces continued to fight to the death using just their numbers and heavy weapons and vehicles against the dock emplacements, while troops continued to fall from the Rebels shells.


With that, The Imperial fleet continued to hold its ground near the FOB's while the Imperial forces continued to push and reinforcements began to fill the gap between the two once they passed the zone.

The Imperial government contacted the 'Tornikian Government and immediately requested War materials to give to Imperial forces and produce on the continent itself or they would back out fighting in Rototornik and Miscarend.


However, Imperial shorelines were set up with massive cannons, lasers and millions of National Guardsmen alongside professional Army troops, while millions more of men and women were being conscripted or put to work in newly erected factories to fuel the war effort. Scientists were put to work looking for bigger, stronger quicker and better war machines and technology.

Moments later the comm began to scream that dozens of thousands of rebel troops were overtaking the Imperial vanguard force inside the second city, not soon after that cry for help a massive rod streaked down from the sky, impacting directly in the city centre and splitting massive cracks in the Earth, bringing about ten square miles of land down into the Earths crust and the under-city. With hundreds if not thousands of accompanying after-explosions, causing the second force with the Sardian's to completely stop in their tracks and get to look out at the destruction murmurs over the comm were heard with many stating, "Insane..."

Moments later the burning wreckage of a CC-5C Sentry swooped over the parked convoy, both of the engines on the left wing were flaming wrecks and also a majority of its upper levels were either blown out or had flames erupting out the windows.

Obviously some Imperial troops were pointing up at it and some were mumbling off names of what it could be. A majority of them were thinking it was the C@C plane, "Angel on your shoulders."

All of the Imperial troops were shocked at the damage done to the city as this was most of theirs first actual rodding. The convoy was extremely silent as the plane impacted in a half-standing tower, bringing the rest of it down with it.

Three Imperial tank's followed after, including plenty of Imperial Infantrymen, lining up beside and behind the Sardian troops, while half their force stayed with the vehicles.


Obviously, both rebel and IMperial survivors were inside the city and underground. Thousands of wounded civilians and soldiers from both factions were scattered among-st the dead. High Imperial command was already sending another Division of troops towards the ruins alongside a hundred or so Civlian doctors and medical personnel.

Once the force arrived at the edge of the crater an Imperial Major turned to the group and began barking orders, once he finished the troops spread out and began to enter the ruins each one with rifles aimed, flashlights and other things inside their helmets HUDs.

As they entered the ruin they could obviously see the destruction and dozens of bodies, mostly children.

However, at the other-side were the bodies of several rebel troopers, alongside two Imperials.

There were around 67 Civilian bodies inside the rubble, and possibly more under the larger chunks.

However, it seemed a few of the Civilian bodies had bullet holes also. Were they Imperial, or rebel? Very hard to tell. None the less, a small firefight was erupting down more in the rubble between Imperials and Rebel fighters. Although, nothing too serious.

None-the-less Imperial forces continued to fight to the death using just their numbers and heavy weapons and vehicles against the dock emplacements, while troops continued to fall from the Rebels shells.

With that, The Imperial fleet continued to hold its ground near the FOB's while the Imperial forces continued to push and reinforcements began to fill the gap between the two once they passed the zone.

While additional reinforcements sailed towards the site of battle, Rebel fleet started peppering the hostile one with railgun fire, hoping to provoke a counter-attack.
On the ground, Imperials were advancing through a storm of artillery strikes. Meanwhile, a sizable force advanced from the south to help defend the city- they were located some 200 miles south of the city, and were pushing towards to hit the attacking invading army in the flank.

The Imperial government contacted the 'Tornikian Government and immediately requested War materials to give to Imperial forces and produce on the continent itself or they would back out fighting in Rototornik and Miscarend.

The Government obliged, but materials they had on their disposal were meager, and much less than what NATA members could produce.
A dozen of NatGuard transport barges were loaded with requested goods, but instead of sending them through the rebel-infested waters, they sailed eastwards and set course for one of the port cities on the western coast of the Empire, hoping to evade possible rebel patrols in the perilous waters of what 'Tornikians called the Outer Ocean.

However, Imperial shorelines were set up with massive cannons, lasers and millions of National Guardsmen alongside professional Army troops, while millions more of men and women were being conscripted or put to work in newly erected factories to fuel the war effort. Scientists were put to work looking for bigger, stronger quicker and better war machines and technology.

For now, Northern fleet would steer clear of Imperial shores, but they diverted their attention to one of the more prominent members of NATA.
Their target? Abrahams Republic. Half of the fleet, a massive detachment of about ten thousand warships, went out to create a blockade of the island nation, in preparation for the incoming attack.
Meanwhile, millions of people from northern Miscarcand evacuated by ship or aircraft, heading for the occupied Snowvlenia.

As they were searching, minor fire fights were going off between the reinforcements, survivors and Rebels both suriviving and ones that have drove in from nearby villiages.

None the less, the Imperial Divisions arrived, with heavy lift equipment and enough doctors for the wounded.
