Sardian republic wrote:"We got drones open fire" the first Sardian platoon started firing at drones firing their dresyes, winchesters, and brenings while the second platoon started running to the breach in the armory, the HMMTV'S fired at the drones.

The small drones were hit by Sardian fire and exploded, sending hundreds of nails and other debris flying in all directions, seemingly the rebels were modified them?

However, as Second platoon pushed closer they were seemingly engaged by the rebels inside, whom had heavy amounts of improvised cover, alongside the massive blast doors which were on either side of the main room.

IC: As the invasion fleet neared its desired landing spot, rebels quickly diverted a significant amount of their troops from advancing across the colonial territory to fight back the invaders. Artillery, both rocket and railgun deployed behind the primary and secondary defensive lines. Warplanes and gunships that previously landed on airports for refueling and re-arming scrambled. Point defense batteries and long range jammers alike were online and prepped for battle.

The Imperial fleet launched their remaining air wings to cover their landing and hit any beachside defenses or artillery or even engage any hostile air units in the area, while Imperial Marines hit the shores in heavily armored AAPC's and new Imperial AT-27 Gladiator Heavy tanks their objective was to secure a beachead for further and heavier reinforcements to land more safely.

Meanwhile two Black Beret teams were sent 20 miles east of the normal landing zone to begin another mission in compliance with the first team sent in to the nation.

"WE WILL CRUSH YOUR SKULLS UNDER OUR IRON TREADS!" The tanks kept spouting threatening messages at the imperials, in an attempt to break their fighting spirit. The trio rolled out of the building, crushing its outer wall in the process, while the elevator descended back into the depot to bring more Tsars into the fight. Tanks then focused fire at a spot on the wall surrounding the courtyard, making it crumble on the street behind and opening a line of sight between them and imperial armored units.
---
Imperial reinforcements arrived just in time to help defend the city against an incoming rebel assault. Loyalist commander fetched the imperials an updated map, with important strongholds held by both sides, and optimal landing sites that the rebel reinforcements could use to land.
Despite the jamming, radars could detect large amounts of non-stealth aircraft incoming from east-southeast, mostly fighter and gunship sized, with at least three hundred strategic bombers or transports flying ten miles above the main formation.

Once the Tsars were spotted much of the Armored company moved to engage the hostile tanks, outnumbering them at least 6-1. Alongside the tanks they were supported by other Imperial Infantry assaulting the facility which was obviously a fair amount of troops.

Detecting the massive amounts of aircraft the Imperials decided to send at least five hundred fighters to engage the incoming forces, prioritizing the strategic bombers or transports which flew above, while the troop transports began unloading the first wave of Imperial reinforcements which brought in 400,000 Professional soldiers, alongside two Armored Divisions.

The second platoon pulled back and took cover on the left and right sides of the breach in the armory as the rebels engaged them, While they took cover the first platoon and whatever was left of the third platoon regrouped and took aim at the breach firing everything they had at the rebels and the remaining HMMTV'S aimed at the breach their mini-guns roaring as the rounds impacted the rebels positions cutting down six rebels.

Rebels fired what they could at Sardian forces but were slaughtered in the main room.

However, both blast doors on either side stayed closed. Including the one used for the armory's vehicle bay.

Inside the room on the left was a four legged vehicle with a massive cannon centered on it, standing on what seemed to be an elevator platform surrounded by what seemed like four Rebel technicians who seeming haven't noticed the Sardian presence as of yet.

While they could easily encircle, pepper and eventually eliminate the much smaller rebel platoon in an open field, that was not a possibility in a city. One moderately wide hole in the wall made by the Tsars, and a small gate through which marines entered the courtyard were the only areas through which Rebels and Imperials could exchange fire. Instead of rushing blindly at 18 imperial tanks, Tsars decided to wait until more platoons arrive.

Fighters in the lower formation increased altitude and set course to intercept their Imperial colleagues, while the troop carriers and gunships proceeded towards their designated targets and landing sites.

When Imperial transports hit the beach they immediately dropped their ramps allowing their hordes of bulky combat and support vehicles stream out beside brigades of combat troops while Imperial cruisers, destroyers and even the transport vessels used their massive armaments to bombard incoming hostile troops and vehicles, while Air units deployed from the fleets many aircraft carriers took to the sky to engage dangerous aircraft supported by high-intensity lasers from their launch points alongside surface to air missiles launched to help bring down enemy aircraft. While ARCHER and other surface to surface missiles were launched towards rebel artillery positions and also ground formations.

-----

The Black Berets were informed of the incoming aircraft via their own sensors and Command and control forces with the fleet, immediately taking to nearby cover until assistance from a flight of broken off F-33's could come and assist.

Imperial tanks noticed that they would be blown away if they attempted to push through the small hole created by the Tsars and decided to blow a second hole in the wall and call in close air support to attempt to blow the Tsars away through missiles while they waited for other surprises to be unloaded by the reinforcement fleet.

Noticing the enusing airwar about to happen a few wings sped forward from the main group to engage the rebel squadrons, hopefully attempting beat them or at least distract them so that their remaining comrades could engage the transports high up in the air.

The Black Berets were informed of the incoming aircraft via their own sensors and Command and control forces with the fleet, immediately taking to nearby cover until assistance from a flight of broken off F-33's could come and assist.

Rebel lasers quickly eliminated most of the incoming missiles, but couldnt do so against conventional projectiles which hit their targets, inflicting damage. Facing shore bombardment and potentially catastrophic casualties, Rebel attack stopped and they fell back in an orderly fashion, returning fire whenever they could. One thing that might have surprised the Imperials was an astounding amount of heavy weapons carried by rebel infantry. With power armor, every soldier could easily wield a minigun, a missile launcher, or even a laser/plasma projector. More than a third of them did so, making a significant dent in the rebel vehicle numbers that landed. While Tsar platoons pummeled the beaches with their main guns (and their gattlings hitting an occasional missile or aircraft flying low enough), heavy artillery and railgun armed tank hunters turned their attention to incoming troop carriers.
Then suddenly, jamming. Radars and missiles from both sides were rendered almost useless, and communication with artillery and air support was nigh impossible. Fighters above would be forced to dogfight eachother.

Four fighters heading to deal with the infiltrators changed their course towards the F-33's, while the fifth armed its missiles and fired them at the squad the drone was tracking.

The wall was incredibly tough for the normal caliber shells to bring down, so it took them a dozen volleys to do so- but it was eventually destroyed. When the dust settled, three more Tsars were exiting the building. Six vehicles fired upon the hostile tanks as soon as they could aim.
---
Rebel fighters had clear orders- protect the larger aircraft at all costs. Piloted aircraft stayed closer to the bomber formation, while drone fighters (similar to those imperials faced in the first stages of the battle; laser turrets and extreme maneuverability) increased speed and met with the forward wings.
While the imperials clashed with the fighters guarding the upper formation, the lower one consisting of gunships and transports approached the city. Rebels turned the AA defenses online again, forcing the loyalist/imperial choppers to fly between the buildings, and fighters to either get out of range in order to stay alive.

Imperial Forces continued to take casualties from rebel fire but continued to push their forces forward using tanks to lead in Infantry and support vehicles such M-2 Artillery platforms. Some of them were even intwined with Black Berets bearing their standard power armor and heavy weapons, matching the rebels in strength and conventional weaponry, but lacking some of the technological advances that their foes posses.

However, Imperial ships stopped firing missiles and began their use of their conventional cannons and auto-cannons aboard their ships to bombard retreating rebel forces, fighters switched to their massive armaments as-well, leaving behind the thought of using their advanced missiles

The 8 F-33's continued towards their target's and began to fire once they got into range.

The missiles from the hostile jet managed to kill two out of the twelve Black Berets, whom returned fire with their hand-held rocket launchers and machine or mini-guns.

Imperial Fighters continued to clash with their foes while Imperial Helicopters dove behind buildings and fighters inside the city began returning back to friendly airstrips or the carriers, attempting to fire unguided rockets at AA positions, or even strafe them with their autocannons as they passed.

Once the platform lowered the machines door suddenly jolted open, relieving the many technological wonders used to operate the beastly machine, however with some yelling and rumbling coming from the distance, it seems that the rebels know you took the armory and seemingly want it back.

The Technology inside the artillery piece was mainly all electronic and digital but was a simple to use weapon so the trooper likely had no problem moving it.

However, he came out onto a very long straight road in which he could see about six rebel trucks speeding towards him, followed by two very old tanks.
