"Allah, Yasu, Zgharta, Suleiman w basss!"
Zgharta District
North Governorate
Phalangist Régime Entity (North Lebanon)
Alas the time had arrived. The people of Zgharta were sickened as well as tired of the Phalangist régime entity's crimes, sectarianism in addition to hatred towards other Lebanese brothers + sisters. The Zgharta Liberation Army of the Marada Movement (whose ideologue is Lebanese nationalism, Pan-Arabist nationalism, Socio-Cultural Traditionalism, Christian theocracy with Religious Pluralism & Anti-Sectarianism, pro-Syria alignment, as well as mixed economics), led by Suleiman Frangieh, remobilised from its passive reservist status to launch attacks against Lebanon Christian Republic Phalangist forces. Suleiman Frangier commenced to speak, "Brothers, sisters! For far too long have the Phalange ruled North Lebanon with their genocidal, sectarian, provocative madness! These Dominionist Fascist Phalange have tried to divide our fellow Lebanese brothers whilst furthermore sisters, have tried to provoke war against our Syrian brothers in addition to sisters, have tried destabilising other lands with their vile sectarian perversion of Christianity. They are making a shame out of the Christian faith! As Christians we cannot allow this madness cesspool to continue much longer. Today, I thenceforth declare Zgharta's independence in fullest. I also wish to let the world know, that we are not simply 5 000 holy partisans any longer. Our ranks in our areas have increased to 125 000. May the Phalange rue the day they provoked as well as angered our wrath with their rabid behaviour! May they rue messing around like temper tantrum children! The time has come, to finalise our work, BRING PHALANGE DOWN!" he roared whilst putting his left hand into a clenched fist in the air. People cheered.
Suleiman as well as Tony Frangier Jr were both planning at this point a methodology with which to fight against the LCR Phalangist revtard rats. "Tony Jr, we both know the enemy will utilise civilians as human shields to make us look bad whence we come in. We cannot, must not afford to become embroiled in such a situation. We must maintain a purely defencive position. The question is however, let us say they plan to bomb the bloody shit out of our areas, what do we do?" to which Tony Jr answered, "Suleiman, the best approach is to simply resort to unconventional warfare. We must dig up trenches, underground improvised tunnels & troop quarters Vietnam & Algeria style (hospitals, barracks, military equipment storage areas, logistical facilities, communications posts, amongst other forms of bases; all interconnected by kilometres of tunnels with occasional trap doors protected by traps designed to explode at the sight of unfriendly forces). We must plant large & concealed roadside bombs of EFF/EFP Iranian-made improvised explosive calibre, in addition to SM-70 East German made spring-guns/directional mines, thermobaric land mines, tandem anti-material mines, in addition to tripwire bombs as well as spring-guns modified to launch RPG-32 & 9M123 Krisantema-S anti-armour rounds. This shalt be our lethal solution. All our troops would hide in our underground quarters, the sewers, or our metro stations, or on the surface in forested areas, especially shrubs. This is our best gamble. In terms of air defence, we have our man-portable air defence units & man-portable infantry radar. No worries brother." to which Suleiman said, "Excellent Tony Jr, excellent."
Only one grouping of Marada troops, as it turned out to hath been decided, would go on the offencive. The 5 000 original troops, now officially known as the "Zgharta Republican Guard Hard Core Brigade", was being mobilised to launch an ambush against a convoy of Phalange tanks identified on the unrecognised borders of the newly self-proclaimed Lebanese Republic of Zgharta, whose government has been given €100 billion in State coffers aid by Bashar Al-Assad to help them formalise a strong state with a budget capable of investing into numerous ranges of programmes. Zgharta Republican Guard Hard Core Brigade wore Red Berets in addition to uniforms similar to those of the Syrian & pre-2003 Iraqi Republican Guards, except the uniforms were in effect Ratnik Russian future soldier equipment with customised uniform colouring. It was commanded by Brigadier General Malik Kyriakos Albaf. "Forward march! My brothers, my sisters! The time has cometh to free Zgharta from Phalange Dominionist occupation, as well as eventually hope to free the rest of Northern Lebanon if Jesus as well as God both will it! Thanks to our brothers as well as sisters of Bilad ash-Sham (Greater Syria) Soviet Union, we hath been able to arm, train, experience, discipline, harden as well as expertise ourselves in the domain of unconventional guerilla-partisan warfare! We shalt march forth here onwards, to unleash war against the Phalangist rats, puppets of the Zionist régime entity as well as other imperialist powers whom undermine the Middle East! Forward march, to victory or death! Wear your crosses, symbols of the Christian faith, in pride!" Brigadier General Malik roared.
The soldiers roared whilst goose stepping ferociously, "Allah (God), Yusa (Jesus), Zgharta, Suleiman w basss!" throughout their trek out of the main city thence into the forests to head towards the planned site of the ambush. The Zgharta Republican Guard Hard Core Brigade's five thousand soldiers went into concealed positions in shrubs or bushes on either side of the main road where the enemy convoy was said to be passing through, whilst the roadside military traps were placed onto this road too to give whatever Phalange column daring to pass through here a bloody living hell. The soldiers armed their weapons, aimed through the respective concealed positions towards the road, awaiting the moment in which the enemy convoy would roll in, to which from there the devices planted in the road would explode right under them, thenceforth from there the five thousand "Hard Core" Zgharta commandoes would commence their ambush. For now they waited for this moment, with due patience, in complete silence. Throughout the Lebanese Republic of Zgharta, the 120 000 other soldiers of the Zgharta Liberation Army were placed in their underground + concealed positions as well once they had laid all the traps in the other roads as aforementioned earlier too. | On Zgharta National Television, Suleiman Frangieh made a short speech, "Brothers, sisters! Let us say that our cunning strategies do succeed, we shalt link up with our brothers & sisters from South Lebanon as well as the rest of Greater Syria to initialise a massive attack on the rest of North Lebanon one day in 2025! For now, its merely about securing our areas here in our free republic! Down with Phalangism! URA!" he roared.
There was of course the question of how this strength came to be. Locals had been swarming to join the ranks of this noble force over time, which was being trained by Syrian Shubat al-Mukhabarat al-Askariyya (Military Intelligence Directorate) operatives. Furthermore, Zgharta leaders ordered some time ago the construction of a secret high-speed Maglev military metro line that goes straight into Syria, built for them by Syria's engineers as well as military. This metro line has become the main underground "Ho Chi Minh" line where supplies & weapons come pouring through. The tunnels were also large enough to bring through armoured-mechanised-artillery-air defence heavy units in enlarged wagons too. This was the beast that allowed Zgharta to militarise herself to such massive levels. The secret metro line continued to remain a strategic part of the strength of the Zgharta Liberation Army, in addition to the pride of the Lebanese Republic of Zgharta. Interestingly, a small contingent of Syrian Communist Party (Bakdash Faction) sympathisers got aboard those metro lines later on to join the Zgharta Liberation Army. Whilst those persons were avowedly atheist, they sympathised with their Christian brothers & sisters of Zgharta, thenceforth they decided this was their chance to join them in a noble struggle against the Lebanese Phalange régime entity. These 10 000 Syrian recruits were in the midst of training in mountainous regions of Zgharta, to be mobilised alongside the normal Christian Zgharta Liberation Army at a later time. The Syrian group was called The Syrian People's Sympathiser Front for the Liberation of Zgharta. In the meantime, the secret metro line continued to bring in logistics...
