(It was a normal day at the Civilian Executive Branch headquarters located at 23 East Bellantoni Avenue all was normal.

The international news came on and the reporter was talking about several nations having breach of security and highly classified information getting out about several high raking officials within The Grand Legion with one of them being High Officer Anthony Maddox. Upon hearing the news High Officer Maddox picked up his phone and called his lawyer...)

[High Officer Maddox]
I need to know if any of this is true.

[Mr. Maddox's Lawyer]
I don't know we have to wait and see what information was leaked from those countries, but I'm going to start working out what this could mean and get back to to you.

[High Officer Maddox]
Thank you, let me know when you have something.

(After his phone call he sat in his office quietly for a moment, before going before the Council of Majors for questions to the High Officer)

The Mortisian Palace was only that in name. The elephantine stone-grey building loomed out of the surrounding hab-blocks like a dormant beast. Commissioned by the Administratum, the building was a typical example of their mindset- bleak, practical and unimaginative. The brickwork of the slabs of rockcrete was so fine that the mortar was invisible, making the outer walls look like a single block of unyielding stone. Black-armored Guardsmen, clad in insect-like rebreathers, patrolled the wrought iron perimeter fence that separated the bubble in which the bureaucrats lived from the reality of the region that they managed. Arbitrator Marivo clambered out of the APC and choked on the filthy air, retching and fumbling for his rebreather whilst Colonel Teryon chuckled. Marivo scowled from behind his gas mask as they walked down the path towards to the central building.

"Throne above, I'd forgotten how bad the air was back home." he said, smiling to himself.

"At least you dont have to get used to it." Grunted the Colonel in reply.

Before Marivo could ask what he meant by that they had arrived at a colossal metal door, Colonel Teryon rapped three times on the tarnished metal with his knuckles. Marivo heard fumbling of at least two people on the other side of the door. It slid open and allowed them refuge from the swirling smog that had pervaded the air since the munitions factories upwind. They stepped into a cavernous antechamber which was brightly lit by the overhead lighting. Pairs of guards cradling Autoguns flanked the numerous doors whilst a gaggle of pale-robed adepts passed, talking loudly about something uninteresting. Colonel Teryon turned to the stone-faced guard to their right and Marivo followed suit.

"Hand in all weapons here, you can claim them back when you return. Private Tenysyn will escort you."

Marivo grumbled as he handed over his shock-maul and Autopisol, neither had left his side in weeks. The colonel shot him a knowing smile as he too reluctantly passed a snub-nosed revolver to the guard. They walked in silence for a few minutes until they reached their destination. The room was tastefully decorated and was a stark contrast to the rest of the building.

"Welcome" smiled the man in white robes behind the desk at the end of the room "I trust you got here okay?"

"Perfectly fine thank you Prefectus." Replied the Colonel, bowing his head slightly as he talked "I have brought the man you asked for."

"Excellent!" Exclaimed the white-haired man in the corner, stepping out of the shadows. Marivo had not previously noticed him but even with a glance it was obvious that he was an Inquisitor. He stepped forward "Arbitrator Alend Marivo, sir." extending his hand to shake but the Inquisitor did not accept it.

"If we could get down to business, please."

"Of course." Agreed the Prefect "Arbitrator Marivo, this is Elias Lethins. He is the Justicar Prefect of Aighe Mortis, perhaps you've heard of h-"

"Introductions aside, we did not gather here for pleasantries." He cut in "Inquisitor, if you will.

"Of course. As you all may have heard, there has been an information leak in the middle echelons of the Administratum. The man, Karlhe Marrax, has turned his back on the Imperium in favour of foreign currency. I cannot stress the importance of these documents enough. Ninety-seven Primaris-Class documents are now in the hands of foreign powers. Gentlemen, this rogue element must be found and eliminated."

"Isn't that a little harsh?" Asked Teryon "He may have useful informatio-"

"Traitors die a traitors death Colonel." Snarled the Inquisitor "There can be no salvation for such men, only swift and deadly retribution. The Imperium will be an international laughing stock if we allow those responsible to get away with it. What kind of Empire cannot even control their own government?! Marrax, henceforth to be known as Target Primaris, will die and so will the officer with whom he dealt. We will purge theirs, and any, government who co-operates with such people. Find them and kill them."

[Wolfian State]

Passengers were loading up for a flight to Neorome, in the Wolfian State.

"Passports and tickets please" asked the man at the gate.
The passport the man handed the man was technically not faked, as the Wolfian State had made them. The identity on it however had not existed longer than a year.
The woman handed her own passport over.

The man's real name was Herbert Wolf Arbertsen and he was a an agent of the Wolfian intelligence agency. The woman name was Erika Ingle, and she was defecting to the State. She had contacted Wolfian intelligence stating she possessed classified information and that her life was at risk and asked for asylum. Do to a cooling relationship and recent diplomatic clashes between The Wolfian State and the WER, they had found it interesting and had sent Herbert to evaluate her. So far he had found nothing indicating foul play. Her motivation appeared to be guilt over her own association with the activities her information exposed.

Herbert admired how calm she appeared while they boarded the plane. For a person leaving her whole life behind she showed little signs of stress or anxiety. As the plane lifted off Herbert continued to analyze his traveling partner.

Ma'am, the most recent news report says that High Officer Maddox has authorized the arrest of some of the men who were competing against him for the High Officer position and they also say he was plotting to kill Prime Minister Douglas Knight.

I want to you to fully investigate all of this I has to run this by the General of the Nation Eric Daniels, but before I do I want all the facts.

(The Intelligence Agent left the room and started investigating the leaked intel asking questions of everybody involved and he finally got a meeting with High Officer Maddox...)

High Officer Maddox, I'll make this quick as I know you're really busy. We have come across information that you have authorized the arrests of your political opponents and that you've plotted to kill Prime Minister Knight, so my question is, have you done any of these things.

[High Officer Maddox]
I have not now or ever plotted to kill Prime Minister Knight...(Stammers)...an-and I-I haven't not authorized the arrest of an-any of m-my political opponents.

[Intelligence Agent]
That's all I need from you, but keep you're phone line open as I may have to call you again to set up another meeting if we need to talk again.

(The Intelligence Agent the High Officer's office and called his superiors to tell them how his meeting with the High Officer went)

Ma'am, I just finished talking with High Officer Maddox and that he believed him on not plotting to kill Prime Minister Knight, but he had started stammering when he answered about authorizing the arrest of political opponents. I'll let you know if I fine out anymore ma'am.

(The Intelligence Agent hung up the phone and went to his office and started making phone calls about the arrests)

"Yea one sec." The news was literally one of Felix's favorite things to watch well other than soccer. There was news of a security breach in some countries system and millions of dollars in data had been leaked. They said all the countries that were in danger should tuck themselves in and prepare for the worst. Vanitan actually the royal twins where one of them. But they have a funeral to go to and they're going to be there.

To start the days business off I want to state that all questions must be on the current topics at hand and on no other topic.

Thank you Maj. Ferguson, I will start by saying that I plan on implementing a strong education plan for the children of The Grand Legion.

That may be so, but myself and everyone else has heard that you are accused of authorizing the arrests of your political opponents, is this true?

[High Officer Maddox]
There is no concrete proof that I did any such thing, and I think we should talk about the education problem here in the Grand Legion as that is the real issue at hand.

[Maj. Kenneth Almeida]
The people of The Grand Legion have a right to know if the person chosen to represent them to the world had authorized the arrests his political opponents or would you have it covered up.

[High Officer Maddox]
I will repeat I had nothing to do with any such thing I was chosen and confirmed by this Council for my position.

[Maj. Walter Dillon]
I propose a motion to pass power from the High Officer to the Prime Minister until the matter is resolved.

The AYE have it the motion is passed and all the powers of High Officer will be passed on to Prime Minister Douglas Knight until the matter of High Officer Anthony Maddox is proving innocent of all accusations against him. High Officer Maddox you are hereby relieved of duty until the matter is resolved you may leave now.

[High Officer Maddox]
Thank you, Sir.

(As High Officer Maddox leaves the council chamber a horde of reporters are confused as to why the High Officer is leaving the council chambers so early, asking questions of why is he leaving so and the High Officer just pushing through them with his head down as he gets in his car and drives off, the Head of the council Maj. Ferguson comes out to the reporters being asked the same questions.)

In the chamber today a motion was put forward to pass the powers of the High Officer to the Prime Minister until the matter involving High Officer Maddox can be resolved so as of right now the Prime Minister represents The Grand Legion to the international community for the time being. I hope the matter can be resolved quickly and High Officer Maddox can resume his duties.

We have new international news for from a source with WER, they wish to remain nameless as we will honor, so I will let my colleague tell you what we have received.

Thank you, the information is documents with the names of three Senators from the Western European Republican Senate,the first one named is Senator Edward Fortier who is accused of hiring and fornicating with prostitutes; the next one named is Senator Klaus Lohr who has been accused of secretly accepting bribes from lobbyists; the next one named is Senator Helmut Josef Strauß who has been accused of wiretapping his election opponent. There are also documents that say the leader of the National Progressive Party, Marie Motejo, knew about and is supposedly covering up all three Senator's misdeeds. Their is other information that the Western European Republican Intelligence Agency (WERIA) has been secretly been running a data base of foreign diplomats, along with facts about them that they would not want to get out in public, for diplomatic leverage and also been running a facial recognition program on their nation's Facebook and Twitter accounts.

I have been given temporary authority over all the High Officer's duties, but I would note that myself and High Officer Maddox are good friends and he would never do the things he's accused of doing, but the Council of Majors has said that he's going to have to explain himself to a Military Tribunal in three weeks time and they will decide weather or not he can keep his position as High Officer.

No, The Grand Legion does not have a secret intelligence agency, Grand Legion Army Intelligence(GLAI) only gathers intelligence when the Grand Legion is preparing to go to war or is already at war with another nation. GLAI has not now or ever has been a secret government agency used to spy on other countries.

My name is James Fitzpatrick, I'm an agent of the Grand Legion Army Intelligence or GLAI for short and I have downloaded 500 Terabytes of data that The Grand Legion has acquired on international leaders the data includes personal phone calls and emails along with information on 6 GLAI agents who are stationed around the world on covert missions to any nation that hears this we have agents in your nation now and if we don't there will be one soon. I am doing this to change the way the Grand Legion gathers intelligence. I will be releasing more data as time goes by.


GLAI has collected over 234 phone calls made by Senator Edward Fortier of WER and has him listed as a prime target for selection to join GLAI's double agent program.

GLAI has collected over 269 phone calls made by Senator Klaus Lohr of WER and has listed him on the "No Entry List" of The Grand Legion, meaning he is not allowed in the country unless otherwise accompanied by the Grand Legion Military Police(GLMP).

GLAI has collected 56 emails received by Senator Helmut Josef Strauß and has plans to have him killed during one of his visits to country seeking to join WER, GLAI agents have planted evidence to implicate said country and to start a war between WER and aforementioned country.

GLAI has collected 49 emails received by the leader of WER's National Progressive Party Marie Motejo and has her listed as an enemy of the Grand Legion for one email she received that read as follows, "Ms. Motejo, I am emailing you to inform you of my concerns about the Grand Legion and their view on how the world should be run. he has planed for leaders from underdeveloped countries.

GLAI has collected over 4569 phone calls made by the Valdiu Military Committee about The Republic of Valdiu having agents in several countries around the world two of which were found here in The Grand Legion and are being held in a Grand Legion Gulag as criminals of the Grand Legion

GLAI has an agent who has become a senator in The Republic of Valdiu and his name is Willie Jacobsen, who has been feeding intelligence to GLAI about Valdiu closed door Senatorial sessions and vote counts for five years now.

He said, referring to the leak of propaganda destabilization program recently leaked. Secretary Thromright fidgeted. "I don't know, sir." Head buried in his hands, Sterling pointed to Admiral Simmons with his pen. "You," he said, distraught. "Have the Navy on high alert. Move the fleets out of the harbor. Skeleton crew," "Yessir," Simmons said, and promptly exited. "Sir," Secretary Thromright said. "There was also info on several assassination plots, victims including you, me, and Simmons." "WHAT?!" Sterling's head flew out of his hands. "I CAN'T-" Sterling's phone rang. He answered. "Yes?" "What?" "He did?" Making a strange gurgling noise, Sterling picked ip the phone, yanked the cord out if the wall, and threw it outside, shattering the window. His face fell to his hands once more. "Shut down the nation. Increase security on borders. National emergency." Startled, Thromright said "Yes, sir." As Thromright was walking out, Sterling called once more. "And Mitch?" "Yes, sir?" "Close my drapes for me, would you?"

GLAI has collacted over 45,453 phone calls and emails between Admiral Richard Simmons and Secretary Mitchell Thromright from The Republic of Valdiu of the 45,453 only one phone call stands out and it was about an Assassination attempt to destabilize Valdiu. This is something that The Grand Legion sees as a high value operation, because one of the targets was High Officer Anthony Maddox which GLAI says that he was targeted because of his close relationship to President Alexander Sterling of Valdiu.

As of right now I want former GLAI agent James Fitzpatrick arrested and charged with treason.

Sir, if Mr.Fitzpatrick is in another country it could be hard to get him we would have to have that country expedite him to us and that could take weeks or even months. I suggest we brand him an enemy of the state and exile him from The Grand Legion.

Do it, but let it be known that he is a trader to The Grand Legion and should not be trusted by any nation.

"Mitch! Get in here!" Sterling yelled. "Yessir?" Thromright said, bowing in. "What the heck is this?!" He said, pointing to the data about assassination attempts. "VISA uncovered an assassination attempt. We thought it best to keep it from you. GLAI must've misinterpreted the phone calls." "Why best to keep it from me?" "We'll, sir, you're not exactly famous for being calm." "Fair enough," he sighed. Sterling got up. "Mitch, we've got a closed door senate meeting. You need to be there. Bring a recording device. Audio, video, something. Bring it." Sterling walked out.

Sterling took the podium. "I bet you're wondering why I've gathered you all here today," he began. "And you are right to think so. The truth is that this meeting is of the utmost importance, and to make sure we don't have any breaches, we have several APCs parked outside. All they need to hear is a phrase," Sterling smirked. "Such as 'undid iridium'." All of a sudden, the door burst open and several armed SpecOps soldiers rushed in. They promptly removed Senator Willie Javobsen, as their commander read the wirds: "You are hereby under arrest for conspiracy to commit espionage against the state. You have the right to remain silent; everything you say can and will be used against you in court." With that, they exited, Jacobsen with them, and the APCs drove off. "Dismissed," Sterling said, halfway out the door.
