Current Map of Operations

Image

In the North, The war is heating up, real fast. After the disastrous defeat by the ZDF on their counter offensive, they are in full retreat. As they retreat, they practice scorched earth tactics and destroy various farms, industrial complexes, and destroy any left behind equipment. The northern armies broke apart, and became scattered. Mostly rejoining forces at Lakura, Northra, and the capital, Greska. Small naval skirmishes between armed fishing boats, occurs on the lake and rivers against the ZDF and communists. The entire northern fleet of the ZDF is wiped out, by the communist coalition. In the North East, the National Socialist Korea has blocaded the port and has initiated a small beach head. They are closing in on the capital fast, worrying the Marshal. He has increased the usage of WMDs and ordered his men to take no more prisoners, and to never surrender. The extermination camp has been enlarged, allowing more and more citizens to be "taken care of". The communist coalition has launched a huge counter offensive and are currently attacking the city of Lakura and have started to bomb and shell the city of Northra. The ZDF air force, however, still continues to strategically bomb communist territory. They are taking heavy losses, and are no match for modern stealth planes. Out of the whole war so far, the ZDF air force has shot down a total of 72 planes, almost all communist and stubbsist.

In the South, the war is also starting to pick up. The Stubbsists and allies, have defeated the ZDF army at the Battle of Crossica, a small town outside the city. Where the ZDF was surrounded by Stubbsist forces. They were bombed and shelled into the stone age, and eventually surrendered. However, many soldiers of the ZDF were against the regime, and have taken up arms alongside the Stubbsists. The captured general and his staff were taken prisoner, awaiting military trial. The Muslim band of fighters has infiltrated the city, killing 3 high ranking colonels. Although the General of Regalio was at the front, he was shaken by this ordeal, and has added extra military protection. The remains of the ZDF fleet are currently heading towards Oka city. They have sent a telegram stating their defection, and are currently neutral. A small Stubbsist naval force will escort them into port, and hopefully, meet up with the Guerran fleet. After the defeat of the ZDF around the city, the Stubbsists, Davidans, and South Netherlands forces have launched an attack, to capture the city. A Stubbists force of 5 submarines is heading north to try to sink any Nationalist Socialist Korean capital ships, to blow out their morale and spirits.

The captured general has reviled the secret location of the concentration camp, and if captured, will prove to the world that the camp is actually real. It will also allow the world to know the truth. If captured by the communists however, they spin the details, and blame the Stubbsists for the killings.

Stubbsist forces are now using aircraft given to them by allied forces. They are very effective, and are racking up kills against the ZDF.

To: Grand Emperor of Macedonia
From: Jackson Stubbs

Greetings, I thank you for your great and generous support. My forces are fighting in the city of Gresco, alongside allied forces. However, military support is greatly appreciated, especially from your powerful, and mighty nation. We request that you send in troops and fight alongside with our brothers. We cannot win without further help from other nations. The ZDF and communists are fearful to fight enough with the forces we have...so please, send troops and supplies to aid our cause of freedom, and liberty!

-Jackson Stubbs

To: Bulgarian-Serbian Kingdom
From: Stubbists high command

Great ally, thank you for the fighters. With those, we have gained air superiority over the ZDF and have pushed further due to your help.
Now we have reports of your forces landing near the front lines. We need them to move northward to help capture the city and then, eventually, fight the Koreans in the north, as we have reports of them landing near the capital. If we are to win, we must gain the capital, to cement our chance at defeating the communists, and establishing our first Stubbsist nation.

Thank you!

General Dreg Horman, commander of the Stubbsist Army

Colonial Islands, South Rothinzil

The Stubbsist Osa II missile boat, escorted by two S.R Yellow Star frigates, arrives at one of the Colonial Islands, where the primary military headquarters – the S.R Theatre of Operations, is based. The three boats settle on the harbor with 3 S.R soldiers waiting to greet the guests. As Jackson Stubbs exists his boat, he escorted towards the three soldiers by other two troops, who were operating the two frigates.

The soldiers, who were waiting for the Stubbsist Leader on the shore, were Lt. Cortath and two marines. As Jackson Stubbs approached the 3 soldiers, the Lieutenant extended his hand:

Lt. Cortath: "Greetings, Mr. Stubbs. I am Lt. Cortath. We have been waiting for you. Shall we proceed to the vehicle? "

Asked the Lieutenant, as he pointed at a nearby jeep.

Jackson Stubbs: "Greetings Lt. glad to be here. Sure. I have to say, y'all got some pretty nice ships. I see one of those ships has an Aloristani Flag on it...guessing it was used in the war."

As he exists his boat, the Freedom, he orders his men at ease. They were wearing Cuban styled fatigues with 50's styled army hats. They had an emblem of a red star and gear on their hats. No insignia was worn. Only Stubbs was identifiable, because he wore a red beret and 3 ribbons on his chest, from when he was a ZDF naval officer. He was short 5'8 and had short buzzed brunette hair. He was very young, only in his late teens or early twenties. As he walked by, he saluted the South Rothinzilian men. He then asked,

"Im guessing this was the island the Gulf Empire and his coalition invaded a few months ago? I tracked the story when I was in the ZDF, listening to international radio. It is the only way we could hear, non governmental news."

Jackson Stubbs: "Well thats good, both sides went through hell to end it."

He walks towards the jeep, opens the door, and sits inside. It was crude seating, but it was comfortable enough for the military. After the Lt. steps in, he shuts the door, and they continue their small talk, as the travel to meet the president.

"Well, the journey was arduous, boring...and long. Being on an Osa II missile boat in the sea, was not a fun experience. We left Oka at night, after we had established a secure area. We were escorted by other patrol craft, but once we were a good distance away from the fighting zone, they left to pursue a ZDF fleet. After the morning, we continued on course. It was a nice calm day...but it had a red sky in the morning, so a storm would come later. We encountered a small pod of dolphins and a large blue whale, rare near Zerra. We took pictures and listened to the radio. Various news networks were briefly talking about the war, while others were talking about sports and economic issues...it was the most peaceful place me and my crew were ever in.

But then, a terrible storm soon arose, and we quickly batten down our small boat, to prevent water getting in. The waves were quite large, as we maneuvered ever so slowly through it, dodging waves and listening to the wind howl. It was ferocious storm, the ones you only encounter at deep sea. During that time, I wrote a small draft of our new future constitution and drew up further military plans. After the storm disappeared, I learned of the victory at Crossica. Then that is when we met your frigates, which in turn brought us here after another day of isolation. So, how about you and your country's story...I've always been intrigued by your long list of victories in various conflicts.

A Flight of 4 darkens screamed over the Capitol, and dropped smart bombs on the Capitol building, and gripens came in to mop up any ZDF fighters, while just south of the communist front 15,000 Bulgarian soldiers have just executed the largest amphibious landing in Bulgarian history, with 65 T90s in support, they push 15 miles inland, while another 1,500 troops arive by air on the front line of the eastern front, on both fronts Bulgarian aircraft are causing heavy losses, the Bulgarian fleet then engages ZDF ships in the north east, making room for more Bulgarian forces to arive, and Gripens continue to rip up enemy planes

Merridel, Globus
Reporter: Any second now President Comte will be addressing the public on the situation in Zerran. It is believed that the government supports the Stubbsists as they are most in common with Globus's ideology. Some speculate the the Globus Armed Forces may get involved and it thats....Oh....Here comes the President now.

Auguste Comte: As you may know, a civil war is ongoing in the country of Zerran. The Dictatorship of Zerran has oppressed their people for decades, outlawing basic human rights. The voice of the people has grown strong and the courage of the country, unprecedented. The Zerran Communist Party and Stubbsist Party have gone to war with Zerran. After discussions with my Secretary of Defence , Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Chamber, we have agreed to aid the Stubbsist Party with aerial and naval power in order to rid the country of Zerran from the current dictatorship. At this time, ground forces will not be deployed. Thank you for your support the good people of Globus.

Official Letter

The Commonwealth of Globus

To: Stubbissts High Command
From: Auguste Comte

To Whom it May Concern,

Greetings, I am Auguste Comte, President of Globus and Commander-in-Chief of the Globus Armed Forces. Although our nation does not completely agree with all of your parties stances, we still wish to aid you as we dislike the Zerran Communist Party of the current Dictatorship of Zerran. I have given the go ahead to ready a naval fleet and a wing of stealth bombers to aid your mission. Right now, ten Type-38 'Thanatos' First Strike Bombers are standing by at Rochelle AFB in Globus awaiting your orders, their ETA to your country is 3 hours. An order to mobilize the 1st Fleet has been given and when ready will have an ETA of 7 hours.

The 1st Fleet Arsenal -
1 x Tidal-Class Aircraft Carrier
20 x Eagle Class Multirole Fighters
1 x Victoria-Class Ballistic Missile Submarine
3 x Coral-Class Guided Missile Cruisers
1 x Coral-Class Submarine Slayer
1 x Coral-Class Fire Support

Upon reception of your order, we will deploy our bombers to a location of your choice, where they will destroy their target and fly back to Globus. If it comes to the point where the Stubbsists are unable to win ground battles, we will consider sending in ground forces.

As the jeep continues rolling across the island, heading to the S.R Theatre of Operations, Lt. Cortath continues listening to Stubbs’s story, while sitting in the front passenger seat, right next to the driving marine.

Lt. Cortath: "In other words, your journey was everything, but ordinary. It would have been a real shame not just to your men, but to us and everyone, who is dependent on you, if you were to lose your life not in the battlefield, fighting for your beliefs and the freedom of your people, but in a storm. But it’s good that you made it out safe and sound. I did not even expect that you might encounter such obstacles during your journey. Sure, storms are common in the sea, but they do not occur all the time. I guess nature is unpredictable.

As for our country’s history, I can tell it from the military point of view. Because as a soldier in the S.R Armed Forces, that is the only one that I can best provide you with. The victories that we have achieved, we never really hold out. We are actually a modest country. Our entire military history and its true essence, basically consist of our wars of independence against Rothinzil and the post-independence armed conflicts that we had and continue to have against Rothinzil to this day.

Our ancestors had been fighting against Rothinzil for millennia’s. The legend has it that the first several wars were mare revolution attempts, as the southern rebels did not want to separate from Rothinzil, but rather overthrow the authoritarian regime and turn the Dominion into a democratic country. Our ancestors had a vision of a united, free and democratic Rothinzil, a true paradise. But as eons passed by, one war ended and another one immediately broke out, and the regime proved itself to be too powerful to be overthrown, the southern rebels, who had almost no support from the rest of the Rothinzilians, because the society was brainwashed by the regime, decided that since they are unable to overthrow the authoritarian government, that does not mean that they should give up, as a change can always be made. The rebels decided that if the rest of Rothinzil does not want to be free, the south will be. From that point on, all wars were about the separation of the south from the rest of Rothinzil, establishing it as an independent and democratic country, a paradise that the rebels truly dreamed of. However, that also took millennia’s to be achieved, but fortunately, the rebels did not give up. They passed on this determination from generation to generation, until the entire series of endless wars evolved into the Separation War finally beginning. This was the long and difficult armed conflict that had finally won us our independence. Of course, it did not all end with that, as Rothinzil refused to accept defeat, not to mention recognize the existence of our country. Because of this, the Rothinzil–South Rothinzil border had to be turned into a heavily militarized zone, isolated from the rest of the civilization. Even though Rothinzil continued pushing down on our border, this did not remain the only concern of our now independent country’s Armed Forces. Our country kept facing constant invasions from our other Pacifican neighbors. All these states supported Rothinzil and had rejected our independence. All of them had made their armed attempts to topple our government and enforce a reunification with Rothinzil. But fortunately we fought back and because we still remain determined to do so, South Rothinzil remains independent to this day.

As for our foreign achievements, like any normal country, we have a foreign policy and because of this, we must make our “donation”, so to speak. The victories that we have achieved abroad, some regimes that we had overthrown or helped to overthrow, all these foreign victories were simply our country’s modest contribution to democracy. We did what we thought we had to do. We fought for what is right. But that is not really our country’s calling. We are “the small guy”. We leave the entire fight for democracy to the true gargantuan military superpowers, who can actually make a true change and who are determined to do so. The superpowers are the true fighters and it is their mission to make this actual change. As for ourselves, we’ve simply made small contributions, nothing more. That is why we don’t really focus on what we have achieved abroad. Our country’s primary and true calling is to be the support beam of our northern border, making sure that we keep the North Rothinzilians out and prevent them from pushing down south. That is basically the only reason why we have a military, because the protection of our country’s borders is the one and only true calling of the S.R Armed Forces. In fact, military does not even receive that much attention in our country, as the government has always had other concerns. Personally, I am saying this, not because I am a soldier, but because I am a citizen – our country’s military funding really requires boosting, especially when going against such an enemy as Rothinzil, a country that devotes much more attention to the military and even obtains nuclear weapons.

On all fronts, the operation was going well for the Sericans. All of their paratroopers have touched the ground, and their amphibious landings were accomplished successes. A full mobilization of the forces began.

On the Eastern front, the People's Liberation Army had established a beachhead. With two land battalions on two sides of the island that stood in the way between the fleet and the capital, Greska, it was settled that an all-out offensive would be mounted on the ZDF surrounding and based around Greska. Bombing runs and naval bombardments were conducted against Zerran forces, with enough firepower in order to demoralize the enemy.

Faint, unfamiliar signals were also detected to the south by the fleets' radars, approaching them. To avoid casualties, 10 Attack Submarines were sent to make sure that they were not worrisome threats. Meanwhile, with the appearance of Steak forces, the battalions to the north of the capital and a new fleet, part of the reinforcements, were tasked to attack the enemy forces and turn them into steak.

On the Northern front, with half the number of manpower on land deployed to the Eastern front, one battalion remained. On the seas, the fleet attacking Northra was relieved by the operation's Main Fleet. The battalion and two fleets dedicated their attack to the city of Northra, with the goal of wiping out whatever belonged to the ZDF in the city.

On the Western front, where the attack on Lakura was going well, the Sericans attempted the amphibious landing successfully. The landing battalion split in half, one would be making a run to capture Lakura, while the other half was to race to Tyre and begin the battle there as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, back at the Fatherland, considerations for deployment of extra forces in Zerra were already approved. While these new men to the battle would not be present in or near Zerra soon enough, it meant that the Sericans were taking the war very seriously.

Okay, so... This is probably the 10000th time I'm asking this from you all, but... could you stop referring to the in-character nation(s) as "National Socialist Korea"? I have a signature. Please refer to all information down there. The next time someone attack the Koreans, they're gonna be ignored by whoever it was on the battlefield: be they Serican, Skalian or Koristan. (Should you feel the need to know what those are, I conveniently have a signature.)

The Eastern side of Zerra was not as steep as the mountains of the West. It gave the eastern battalions an edge and greater advantage. With coordinates set and enemy planes identified, the Sericans started the engagement. Artillery positions shelled the Steaks' defenses, as the infantries clashed against their Steak counterparts. Anti-aircraft, mounted onto fast vehicles, lured the enemy planes into traps to shut them down from the skies for good.

After half an hour, the Army Air Force's fighter-bombers flew into Greska's eastern skies. Dogfights began between the Steak planes and Serican jets, using the most cutting-edge technology available from the Fatherland for open operations.

Taking their chances, the Sericans pushed deeper and closer by every minute into Zerran soil, clashing with Steak and the ZDF alike, closing in on the very capital itself...

Marshal Taylor sat in his desk. He was furious beyond belief. He was astonished that he was loosing this war. But after hearing that his entire naval force was blown out of the water, he had lost it. He arrested some of his officers and had several women "enter" his palace where they were given "special treatment". After he calmed down, he then issued his orders;

The Steakrim forces would be deployed against the Korean forces in the East. He then issued that all available air force units be sent to the capital. They were to protect the capital at all costs. Although the air force was outdated, they Greska defense squadron is equipped with gen 4 Mig-29's. The majority of the ZDF air force is now located in Greska. Strategic bombing is still going on, but they now suffer heavy losses. Things are looking bad. The Marshal is planning to pull back all of his forces and continue to use WMD. Although, he has considered to unleash tactical nukes. But, times are not drastic.

He requests to his allies to provide more supplies and continue to bring in forces. Secretly, he is planning a temporary cease fire treaty, to briefly ally with the Stubbsists and defeat the communist threat.

As-salaamu 'alaykum, Mr. Jackson. The beloved lions of Islam, the honest men of the Islamic State Central Intelligence Office (ISCIO), have brought it to my attention that the devious regime of Zerra may be working on setting up a temporary alliance with you. I will not make any threats or attempt to force your hand, Brother, but let it be known that I protest any sort of peace with the tyrants.

What message would it send if you make peace with those that bomb civilians with chemical and biological weapons? What message would it send if you were to ally with those who force the good people of Zerra to abandon their faiths, their prides, their very way of lives? What message would it send to my nation, if you were to make peace with those who murder Muslims, only because they bow to God?

Please, Mr. Jackson, consider my words.

May peace be upon you and your people,
Emir el-Mu'miniin Ibn Isa ar-Randlii

Friends and allies,

the war is going very well for us and this gives us much reason to rejoice. The Dictatorship Government has even made the request that we would stop fighting them and help them fight the Bolshevik hordes in the north.

Some of our brave allies have immediately rejected this, and not for lack of good reason, but The Democratic Republic of Davida is of the opinion that we should enter negotiations with the Marshal Regime.

It is clear that they are fully aware that the war is not going well for them. But we must realize that the defeat of the Marshal Regime would not be the end of our problems.
We would still have to deal with the well equipped Bolshevik hordes and their many and powerful allies after the fall of the regime.

We also risk the Marshal Regime making the same offer to the bolshevists as they made to us. Ideologically they are not worlds apart and the leader of the communists was the leader of Zerra not that long ago.

I think the risk of having to fight both the the Marshal Regime with its Zerran People's Army and the Communist Forces, led by Mark Nettles supported by their many coconspirators might be a bigger challenge than we are capable of facing.

Especially if Marshal Taylor's obvious secret ally Stahn should make an appearance on this battlefield to support its friend.

The Democratic Republic is of the opinion that it would be best to sign a truce with Marshal Taylor. We could demand he closes his extermination camps, stop his 'special treatment of women' and recognize the Stubbsist State that comprises the area and cities we have so far conquered. I think it would even be possible Taylor would accept our annexation of 1 or 2 more cities in exchange for not having to fight on two fronts against two factions for a while.

Let the bolshevists and The Marshal Regime devote their efforts against each other for now. Why risk our soldiers and precious equipment for killing these barbarians when we can have these barbarians do this by themselves?

Let us turn our attention to the real threat to world peace and freedom of Terra, the Dictatorship of Stahn.

Signed,

Special Agent Fluke

on behalf of

The Democratic Republic of Davida.

15 New Bulgarian Dassault Rafael's have been transferred to the fleet, and 5 are in the air patroling, while Bulgarian troops have pushed 15 miles north, in an attempt to make a break north, the fleet has also begun setting up a blockade of the eastern side of the island, to stop enemy forces from interfering with the Bulgarian invasion force. A Single Gripen escorted by 3 Rafael's is en route to patrol over the capital city, with orders to engage any enemy aircraft

continued from earlier...

The F35s flew in over the airbase of Lakura as the rain began to pour down. Sigma leader spoke up:

"Right soldiers, this is it. First group, you have your targets, follow Sigma 7's lead and fire away"

The planes split up into two formations. sigma 7 took charge:
"You heard the man, time to neutralize AA and radar. Lock missiles on all targets you can identify and upload so that no one fires at the same stuff.... Targets locked?"
A chorus of confirmations greeted him as a response.
"Great... fire!"

Some 12 missiles streaked towards various targets. It was assumed that their stealth technology had worked for the most part, as no AA fire greeted them before the attack was launched.

"Right, second group our turn. Sigma's 3 & 4 , target the main runway. 5 & 6, aim for the subsidiary runways and installations. Sigma 2, stay with me, we are heading for the command center."

The group broke off and pounded their targets with more missiles.
"Sigma leader, it appears that most of the enemy planes are not here. We seemed to have missed them, over" Sigma 5 observed.

"Its alright we still have other targets. Destroy the runways, and we can prevent them from landing."

The assault continued, as the first group also engaged ground targets again.

I used to run an alliance, and a region. Not that it matters now.

To all whom this may concern,

Recently, the SGD of the People's Self-Defense Liberation Forces intercepted and partly decoded a particularly worrisome message sent from a "Democratic Republic" party to the Stubbsist side. While that itself might not be the greatest threat to us, what the message implies might well do so.

In it, this "Democratic Republic" has stated something along the line of "let us stop fighting Marshal Taylor's dictatorship and cooperate against the Bolshevik horde". The enemy knows that the Stubbsists and Pro-Regime forces combined have naval and aerial superiority compared to the Zerran communists. They also suggested the notion that should Marshal Taylor be denied, he will turn and offer us the alliance proposal, since "we're not so distant from his ideology". On the other hand, if they could somehow compromise, the Stubbsists would gain their own nation to the South. For all we know, that would be double the oppression.

This cannot, must not and shall not be allowed to pass. As honorable and reasonable people, I suggest that in the scenario of Marshal Taylor turning his back on the people and Stubbs, WE are to turn his back on him. Let us not help the likes of such a vile worm. Let us prove just how different we are, how we are close to the people. If we must fight them, let them come!

In this occasion, I also propose that the generals of the armies currently present and helping the Communists in Zerra to participate in an underground meeting in the city of Cresco, in order to coordinate our next moves, discuss about other issues regarding Zerra and how we should deal with the other two factions. I also request each country's intelligence agency to cooperate and help us further decipher the perilous aforementioned message in order to find out, word to word, about what was going on between Marshal Taylor and Jackson Stubbs.

I hope the People's Bloc - as I would like to call us - to cooperate to the fullest extent and help deal with the problems that stand before us. Godspeed.

This is a troubling prospect indeed. If this alliance goes ahead, our gains could be reversed, or we end up so exhausted that the Stubbists take power.
We need to break out of the northern pocket fast, to counter this threat. Serica have already attempted this but paratroopers can't hold ground for an extended period without support. My troops shall soon be landing in the West, and will either take Lakura or link up with the communists forces to the north, and I encourage any other allied nation to do so.
If this alliance/neutrality between the Stubbists and Dictator does go ahead, The Valaran Empire will double its forces. Our combined forces can only take on one enemy, not two.
signed,
General Skarn

N.B. Not all of us are communist, so perhaps the people's bloc may not be the best fit. But we are allies in this conflict.
I used to run an alliance, and a region. Not that it matters now.

Imperial Vihor class SSBN 300 km west from the Coast of Zerra. (300 km from the coast western of Cresco)
"gentlemen, we have our targeting data and orders. We are to fire 6 Trinities at the following troop concentrations of the communist forces. He shows the 6 locations on the map. They represent an attempt by the communist to breach dictator forces defending the town of Lacura. Orders are that we give them a hand. We will launch the 6 missiles in order to maximize our damage to the communist forces. Any questions?" said the captain of the Sub.
"One sir. Why not go with more missiles or maybe take out important supply depots?"
"Because that way we will have much more civilian casualties. The trinities we carry are Area weapons. AOE is as you all know around 1 km total. Blast that big boy in a city and you will have a LOT of collateral damage. That is a job for the Ohio class SSGNs. Are we clear?"
"Sir yes sir."
"All right people. Sound battle stations and bring us to 40 meters of depth."
"Aye sir. 40 meters"
" Missile tubes 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 ready for launch sir."
"Launch"
With that the weapons officer pushed the fire button and out of the tubes the 6 paladin missiles flew out and speed to max 7 towards the communist forces while riding the waves before ascending to a higher altitude in order to deliver the strike package.
"dive to 300 meters all ahead 2/3 get us out of here"
"All right 15 degrees down angle. depth 300 meters all ahead 2/3."
The Vihor began its extraction of the area taking advantage of the total lack of naval forces in the area,
