Hello, you guys may or not remember me (my last post was about a year ago so I won't blame you if you don't!) but last I posted I mentioned having no free time to commit to NS RP's as I was very busy IRL and we agreed to freeze the timeline for my forces at least.

After the most hectic year of my life I have no stabilised and am in a position to possible take my timeline out of cryogenic-freeze (normal freezing doesn't seem to cover the length of time!)

I have been keeping an eye on the thread throughout the year and am incredibly happy that it is still and has remained active!

Therefore, I humbly request to pick up where I left off if this is not possible, that is totally fine- I was gone for a year which is a lot longer than I had hoped!

Councordia: If you're happy to jump in at this point then I see no reason why you can't join in.
Of course the storylines don't always cross over so most of what you've missed is minor background details, although feel free to read as much of what's happened as you like.

Virdalonja: How could I forget seeing the Imperial Aquila appearing in my thread! It's been a while so I may have to re-read some of our earlier stuff but you are far more than welcome to join in again. I think it'll be nice to have more than one person to RP with here.

Also, a little something for everyone, the storyline with West Aurelia is reaching a point where some big changes are about to come to Heldur, so in the nearish future we may start a new thread, although don't get worried about starting here, there's still plenty of things to go before Heldur has risen from the ashes somewhat.
And I'm interested to see how you all plan to change Heldur's fate in your own ways.

I've done a few RP's on Nationstates under the guise of a few different nations, some have been good, some have been pretty awful. But I can safely say that Rising From the Ashes has been my favorite, and probably most succsessful RP I have ever been a part of, and certainly the best I've made and I'd like to thank West Aurelia for sticking it out for so long beside me.
Also Virdalonja it's good to have a familiar face back!

(I'll have my next post up soon, it's pretty late so I don't think I'll finish it tonight unfortunately).

No problem - I never abandon RPs! Most RPs never reach a conclusion (of the 73 I've taken part in, only 14 of them have been completed), and I'm glad Rising From the Ashes - the third RP I've joined in my almost two years on NS - has continued to this day.

Many thanks for allowing me back! I am delighted to have returned and will have a post up shortly. Will be brushing up a bit further on what my forces were doing before I do!

The longevity of this RP is astounding, you have done an amazing job keeping it going- great to see new faces (Councordia and me to some extent) joining in. Most of the RP's I have been in have been abandoned or been over quickly so it is great to be in one that has a sense of purpose.

To the future of Heldur!
