Political system: Imperial, but with strong decentralized democratic system at all levels. The distribution of power between Fedor and the Senate, at the "Federal" level, changes over time.
Military Size: Huge (even 2% of my pop is ~470 million), but irrelevant
Reason for joining the conflict: I'm not interested in joining the conflict per sé. Rather, I'm interested in supplying one side or the other, or preferably both (think of U.S. assistance to both Iraq and Iran). We are interested in establishing a relationship that would allow us to commercially tap that oil, whether it is by importing it from the firms of whichever country ends up winning, or through agreement to allow Macabee direct investment into those oil fields. OOC, it's also been a while since I've RPd, and I'm looking to get back into it, and maybe even build a relationship for future RPs.

1. Lots of people are joining and I like this a lot.
2. I would like to remind The Macabees to keep deployments reasonable. Right now it's a small conflict around an oil rig. That does NOT mean that you need to send in 45000 soldiers.
3. Please keep the OOC stuff in the proper thread
4. Die erworbenen Namen, you were in the Souther Bagnagian theater as well so maybe include that into your conflict as I will be doing the same
5. Congreveopia and Die erworbenen Namen, don't get cocky. It's rude and annoying and I would appreciate it if you stopped that whilst OOC.
6. Padnak, please remove the OOC posts in the IC thread because it breaks immersion.
7. Remember, Padnak uses mostly tech from the 60's and I'm barely PMT (Looking into experimental railguns that are still both unreliable and power consuming). This thread is supposed to be MT.

Follow the GATA link. There I link to the "technology." It's PMT; if it were a weapon, probably too PMT for this RP, but I figure that the only thing it changes is the amount of time for most goods to make their way across the world. But, a lot of goods, especially heavy military equipment, has to be shipped the old fashioned way. (And, depending on how far away we are, that could take months.)
