Who ever serves our interests more. As an empire we are more inclined to support monarchies and democracies.
But that does not mean we will not cooperate with the other side. Money talks as long as we make our own research into what is going on and who is right.

300 jets and 90 bombers are set to fly and destroy the nuke base as we retreat all land troops. As the jets come they destroy the base into ashes. The planes then destroy any left over defenses and leaving everything else to burn into ashes.

You are deciding the enemy casualties and are not giving them time to react. That is godmoding.
