the Arcadian Government

Tensions are rising in the Zhuan-Capital of Tien-Jin today as Arcadian military police in full combat gear moved into the centre of the city to break up three day long protests against Arcadian rule. Protesters were first blocked into the central business district of the city and then ordered to lay down any items which could be weaponised and sit down with their hands on their heads; when protest leaders refused to comply the MPs moved in with water cannons, tear gas, riot shields and batons to start making arrests.

Despite the peaceful nature of the protests MPs from the occupying Arcadian Army have started to assault the crowds while the Arcadian Army troopers defending the Imperial Palace have been opening fire on any protesters who came to close to the walls. As a result of the violence from Arcadian authorities what had begun as a peaceful protest swiftly escalated into violent riots with bricks, wood and rocks hurled at the MPs. The shootings outside the Imperial Palace prompted mass panic in the rear of the protest causing a massive crush towards Military Police lines; the resulting charge has forced the MPs to pull their lines back as an ever increasing number of Zhuan nationals in Tien-jin joined the protesters. It is as yet unclear what the death toll is but it is expected to be no lower than 50 people.

In the last hour protesters stormed the Arcadian Embassy and the Arcadian Security Service offices, seizing weapons from their armouries and burning documents; the Arcadian flag was brought down from both buildings and the Zhuan flag raised in its place. The protesters have started to raise barricades of tyres, wood and cars to try and block out any future attempts by Arcadian Authorities to break up their efforts; meanwhile Arcadian helicopters have been seen flying to and from the Imperial Palace prompting speculation that they may have evacuated the Empress to prevent her from falling into the hands of so called 'rebels'.

Valiant Arcadian Military Police block Zhuan rebels into the centre of the city

Military Police from Base EL-2 outside Tien-Jin were rapidly deployed to the Zhuan Capital today after three days of protests lead by dangerous Zhuan rebel group ZJZ. The Protector-Militant, Sir Andrew Lienstolv announced the action shortly after the Bureau of Zhuan Internal Security met early this morning to discuss the worsening situation; following the deployment the BZIS declared a state of emergency in the Zhuan province and officially recategorised the protests as a 'terrorist activity'. It is expected that additional troops will be deployed to Zhuan-Dai from the Reich in short order to support loyalist Zhuan NG forces and existing Arcadian garrisons.

Meanwhile the Federation of Allied Nations Security Council under Lady Madeleine Grey has convened in Ariel to discuss the possibility of deploying Federal troops to support their Arcadian Allies after numerous rogue nations in the International Community condemned the Greater Arcadian Reich's actions and others announced their intention to invade the province.

In the Arcadian capital city of Arkades an emergency meeting of the cabinet was called by Prime Minister Ulrics to discuss the situation in Zhuan-Dai; though the minutes of the meeting have not been published a War Ministry spokesman announced that the Greater Arcadian Reich would be mobilising its military forces to defend the Protectorate from foreign aggression and internal rebellion.

The Greater Arcadian Reich does not parlay with rebels, revolutionaries, bandits, brigands, terrorists or other associated scum. Zhuan-Dai is a legally held protectorate of the Greater Arcadian Reich as per the Treaty of Gao 1912 and as such is the territorial and sovereign responsibility of the Arcadian State. It has however come to our attention that collection misguided rogue nations have placed a series of demands on my country, including the removal of our troops from Zhuan-Dai; we unreservedly reject all of these demands and will not be drawn into negotiation on the matter.

Additionally it has come to the attention of the Arcadian Government that some among these aforementioned rogue nations have mobilised sizable military forces with the intention of invading the Zhuan territory and ending Arcadian rule there. We deem such unprovoked and unwarranted actions to be morally outrageous and utterly unacceptable, any continued attempt to enter Zhuan-Dai, or assist those who would unseat the rightful Arcadian government there will be treated as an act of war.

Finally I wish to make certain clarifications; some of the statements made to the international community by these rogue nations, rebels and usurpers make ludicrous claims that the Arcadian Reich engages in human trafficking and slavery. These claims are completely false and we reject them vehemently as the crazed rhetoric of agitators and anarchists; we of course shall magnanimously forgive any and all who cease their hostile actions in light of this for we understand how you may have been mislead.

The Greater Arcadian Reich currently has a total garrison of 25,000 military personnel in Zhuan-Dai, with a supporting force of 30,000 Armed Military Police and a force of 10,000 native Zhuan who have remained loyal to the Arcadian Reich. In light of the recent threats against the Reich the War Ministry has authorised the mobilisation of a further 50,000 personnel to Zhuan-Dai; additionally reserve forces and the remainder of the Arcadian military have been placed on standby.

Stefan's plane turned around when word arrived that the Arcadian reich rejects all foreign demands. There was no need in putting the diplomat in a dangerous position for nothing. Now he was on his way to the Exultant Dawn to talk about further actions the international strike force will commit against Arcadia.
In Zutendaal, the parliament has agreed to a military intervention against Arcadia with a large majority.

The Zutendalian Foreign Legion was ordered to mobilise. It has currently a size of one division. It will work together with the Zutendalian 11^th division as the Zutendalian First Army.

In the military harbor of Dimitrië, troopships where being fuelled and prepared to cary the Zutendalian force to the Exultant dawn. Also the Zutendalian navy will send a fleet ,with the ZNS Lenin as flagship, with the troopships as an escort.

48 hours Later. 5 Men got off a plane in Tien-Jin, they were PMC's From the WGS Services but they didn' openly state this. According to the countries stats on them they were here to start up a "Import/Export Busness". They immediately bought a warehouse house on the North western side of the City. One of the men bought a room in the rundown apartment across the street from the front door. That man then moved his things into the room and he adjusted accordingly. Including setting up for the room to be a look out and a Sniper post when their equipment arrived with the rest of the companies team that was sent here. Two of them went and bought a couple of trucks meant for transportation of goods and men. A pair of Ford F-150's would do the job nicely. The last two cleared away debris in the warhouse under the protection of their friend on the opposite side of the street. They were business men working contracts in the region, So they dressed like men of business; collared shirts and jeans they looked like tourists but they were a small army that can be bought by any side if they could pay for it. They made it clear to remain hidden until the rest of the contractors arrived. all 150 of them. They were going to spread out and accept contracts where ever, but their mandate from head office was clear. Stabilize the region. Mandates like that would take several year or months to complete on their own.

The sooner we know the better we will all be. I will also be Speaking with the Tayleen Defense reps to see for our strategy of war. Kings and Royalties should not be apart of our battle strategy So I will not be going to "Present myself" in front of a man who thinks he is better than anyone else. I pefer to speak with generals and front line officers as to how we liberate a country not its leaders that command from several hundred kilometers away.

Stefan's plane landed in the Empire of the Exultant dawn. He ordered a limo to drive him to Shori for an audience with Emperor Yamada II of the Exultant Dawn. There will be decided what will happen next. Stefan makes a call with General Tokuev
"Ah, General; I landed safely on Exultant Dawn and am on my way to see emperor Yamada II. What am I to say?"
"Good day, Stefan. Just tell him what we already told you and everything will be fine. Oh, and recently the parliament has given us the option to deploy an extra division when the need arises. Emperor Yamada II should be aware of that."
"Ay, they will know of it. Is that all?"
"Yes, the next warcouncil will be held in a few hours I will keep you up to date. goodbye"

Tien-Jin was in chaos, the Protector-Militant had been forced to evacuate his offices in the city and relocate to the nearby military base EL-2 as more and more Zhuan had joined forces now occupying the capital. The riots had evolved into a full scale rebellion and Sir Andrew had been grudgingly forced to withdraw the MPs and place the city under siege. He had issued rifles to the MPs so that they could supplement the military force and had ordered the mobilisation of a further 2000 AZL (Zhuan Loyalist) soldiers to assist. He now had a total of 2000 MPs, 2000 AZLs and 6000 Arcadian soldiers holding a defensive perimeter around the city. The whole situation was a nightmare with Arcadian officials and civil servants rapidly evacuating the city in a long convoy of cars and van; the city police had defected and the only part of the city still securely held by Arcadian forces was the Imperial Palace, though it was uncertain how long that would last.

The commander of the Imperial Palace guards, Colonel Ryebecker was a fierce, loyal and stoic woman who was not easily intimidated. Despite the massive size of the crowds surrounding the Palace she had held together her force of 250 soldiers; no Zhuan soldiers were allowed within the palace grounds meaning that the entire contingent of Palace Guards haled from the Reich. So far a few shots had been exchanged and they had been forced to disperse crowds which approached the Palace with gunfire; as yet no organised attempt to storm the Palace had been made, but it was only a matter of time. The fact that the Protector-Militant had placed close air support at her disposal was comforting but really she felt uncomfortable using it with the potential for so many civilians being injured. Command had yet to designate person who did not break the perimeter as hostiles, therefore it was illegal for her to authorise any attacks on them.

Shori Tanama Palace
As the representatives arrived at the palace they were greeted by Todo Toshimira who was dressed in flowing white silk; he bowed before them as was the custom of his people before leading them into the impressive Tanama Palace. It was a vast and ancient structure built into and around a verdant mountainside and was as much a fortress as a palace. Every door was guarded by a pair of Kanpeki, members of His Holiness' personal guard; dressed in the ancient ceremonial battledress of the Empire, a pair of swords at their waists and an ornately decorated rifle in their hands.

"Before we enter the audience chamber there is the matter of protocol; when you first go before His Holiness you are expected to bow at the waist. For citizens of the Empire such as myself we must kowtow, but you are honoured guests and so are not required to do this. The audience will be brief but throughout you should always refer to the Emperor as your Holiness; it is taboo to speak his name while in his presence. I urge you to show the utmost respect or the Teineina Hogo-sha may take it upon themselves to 'teach you some manners'...I apologise if our ways seem strange but please understand that to us His Holiness is the living manifestation of our patron deity. Oh and finally when the meeting is over you must never show your back to His Holiness."

Upon entering the audience chamber the assembled officials and military commanders of the Exultant Dawn kneeled in perfect unison and kowtowed in the direction of a large shrouded dais. Through the thin gossamer veil which shrouded the top of the dais the silhouette of a man was all that could be seen. He was sat with his knees folded in front of him on a low cushion. At the foot of the dais a pair of men, armoured in a modernised version of the traditional battledress seen on the Kanpeki stood, they each carried a single long blade, sheathed in obsidian and neither looked very much like talking; clearly these were the Teineina Hogo-sha.

"Your Most Benevolent Holiness." Todo Toshimira said as he led the representatives into the chamber; he stopped and kowtowed before standing up and stepping forward to within three feet of the base of the dais where he bowed once more. "These are the honoured representatives who you wished to see on the matter of Zhuan-Dai."

Stefan walked calmly into the chamber. He stepped to the dais as long as he was comfortable with the distance between him and the Teineina Hogo-sha. He then bowed as he was told and said
"It is an honor to meet you, your Holiness. If I had known that I would meet you I would have brought gifts from my nation."

President Yara Gregovich stared at the note on her desk. Her silky blonde hair covered it as she turned her head, looking at her assistant, Mikhail Jokovo.

She said quickly "Get all information on this country immediately,", and he replied swiftly "The problem is, we don't."

She stared at him, the frowned. She looked back at the letter, brushing her hair off it.

According to the date on a note attached by her assistant, this was sent days ago, but only printed and sorted today.

Within moments of placing it on her notice board, Yara wrote a email back

It has come to concern that a message for aid and such was recently sent to our Presidential Estate office.

As President of Verona, I am declaring support for you and your fight for independence.

A crowd of 230 soldiers should be flown out within 24 hours. With guns.
