-The upside of the older Katana classes is that it can fire unguided SCUDs from its missile-rails en-masse.
Takes about 30 seconds to change-out the ASROC for Sea-sparrows or MLRS/ATACMS, and those rails are pretty quick on the draw, too.
As noted by the flag, my nation has more Sino-Japanese influence than western. And due to the pig-iron mess of the great leap forward, decided to use bamboo-composites in later IFV constructions (and fighter-jets), making their protective properties more likened to Iraqi helmets.

I did mention '07 was a fun year, aye?
Atlas is using Emmerian Equipment at the moment. Since it's Emmerian based. It's basically the Helicopter from Ground Zeroes.
You could've just said it's either an Mil Mi-28 Havok or Mil Mi-24PN Hind-G and been done with it, meanwhile I had to spend a good half-hour trulling through a virus-laden MGS-wiki to find that out.

Yeah, it's fine, I can fit a team in that, and is a smaller faster target than an Mi-6 Hook (although surprisingly not by much, as the Mi-6 is what the Mi-24 took the helicopter speed record away from).
Seems everyone else is a merc, so sending regulars would not be good intentioned, will send a 'merc squad instead (they're smaller).
