Well, there's anti-visible light camo. My recon Sentinel has LOOST(Low-Observable Optical stealth Technology) integrated into his armor.

So, if that's possible, I'd say anti-IR camo is possible, as all you'd need is something that hides your body heat.

The pictures for the guns got deleted but their information are in my factbook. I'm gonna try to redo the design but until then, think of a MTAR base with assorted configurations, since I love bullpup designs.

As for anti-infra red camo, both Cadpat and Marpat camos are made with this in mind. I got the chance to look through infra red goggles once at cadets and they told us to look at some guy without cadpat and all we saw was bright white. With the Cadpat jacket on, his torso was as black as the surroundings.

All IR is is black/white thermal imaging. They've actually just started developing IR contacts, so you'll be able to put a pair in and see people in a thermal spectrum. I'm definitely getting a pair if they ever become non-military issue.

Through early morning fog I see,
Visions of the things to be,
The pains that are withheld for me,
I realize and I can see,
That suicide is painless,
It brings on many changes,
And I can take or leave it if I please.
The game of life is hard to play,
I'm gonna lose it anyway,
The losing card I'll someday lay,
So this is all I have to say,
Suicide is painless,
It brings on many changes,
And I can take or leave it if I please.

It's the theme song from MASH, and IIRC, was written by the director's depressed 10 yr old son.

If you've been accepted you can enter the RP as though you've been there from the beginning. It's only a page long so far, so you should have no troubles catchin' up.

Awesome. Expect a post late tomorrow or late the day after. Currently on a trip.

I don't feel my quality was really up to par on this one. Please excuse that, I've been exhausted. :c

Also, I messaged Vancon saying that his forces may arrive as backup, and anyone else who wishes to jump in or receive some more reinforcements. (or if you kill off some people, you can replace them then.)

Eh. Not too interested in a VR-skirmish when I've got the entire island from LOST to train my troops on.

Oh, nifty.

I may actually want to get my hands dirtied in that someday.

When reinforcements arrive, so can new applicants. I figure waiting for another op is wayyy too long.

Name of Nation: The Empire of The GAmeTopians
Name of Warfighter: HellBent
Warfighter Loadout: "Dauntless" Ballistic Armor, AY144L Assault Rifles, 1 LA214 Molior Medium Utility Helicopter, Shockmaces, EMP Grenades (loadout is increased frequently)
Biography of Warfighter: HellBent was first created by Lord GAmeDOS himself. Quotes from Lord GAmeDOS include, "HellBent is my pride and joy", and "HellBent is quite literally our 'go to hell' team". He is constantly looking to improve HellBent's equipment, and they quite often find themselves where, politically speaking, they shouldn't be.
RP Experience (Example or Link):
Colonel Chell Jackson watched from the trees as the exchange took place. This was one of the most active gangs in GAmeCity, and GAmeDOS had personally assigned HellBent to take out their leader. "If they're allowed to go on, they could destroy GAmeCity," He had said. Now she watched as the gang leader talked with a major drug dealer. She counted in her head as she watched. Three, Two, One, "Fire," She whispered into her radio. Shots rang out, and both men fell to the ground. Men burst from the gang leader's car, obviously his henchmen. They spotted the HellBent shooters and opened fire on them. Before they could hit the squad, the 21 HellBent slipped away through the trees. Once they made sure they were not being followed, they stopped. The Colonel said, "Deploy" and a ladder dropped down through the trees. They all climbed into a helicopter that took them away towards the Citadel. Mid-flight, the pilot turned around in his seat, and said, "That enough of a challenge for you?" Colonel Jackson laughed.
"Are you ever going to stop surprising us, Lord GAmeDOS?" He thought for a moment.
"Not likely."

Accepted for upcoming Reinforcements.

Your troops are going to arrive via helicopter at the battlefield, when support is successfully called in.

K, in the event you need a quick deployment, I can always take the same approach as the American Provisional Rubber-Boat Amphibious assault Companies of WW2 (or the Japanese equivalent of "Tokyo Express") using converted semi-obsolete frigates and a compliment of Mil Mi-6 helicopters and helicopter-gunships of same.
Image

-The upside of the older Katana classes is that it can fire unguided SCUDs from its missile-rails en-masse.
Takes about 30 seconds to change-out the ASROC for Sea-sparrows or MLRS/ATACMS, and those rails are pretty quick on the draw, too.

As noted by the flag, my nation has more Sino-Japanese influence than western. And due to the pig-iron mess of the great leap forward, decided to use bamboo-composites in later IFV constructions (and fighter-jets), making their protective properties more likened to Iraqi helmets.

*I did mention '07 was a fun year, aye?

Atlas is using Emmerian Equipment at the moment. Since it's Emmerian based. It's basically the Helicopter from Ground Zeroes.

You could've just said it's either an Mil Mi-28 Havok or Mil Mi-24PN Hind-G and been done with it, meanwhile I had to spend a good half-hour trulling through a virus-laden MGS-wiki to find that out.

*calms down to edit*

Yeah, it's fine, I can fit a team in that, and is a smaller faster target than an Mi-6 Hook (although surprisingly not by much, as the Mi-6 is what the Mi-24 took the helicopter speed record away from).

Seems everyone else is a merc, so sending regulars would not be good intentioned, will send a 'merc squad instead (they're smaller).

Going to send unit 90Z-A2C3B
90th Army Group, Zeta-militia
-Bravo section of 3rd platoon of Charlie company in 2nd battalion, 1st Brigade.

Unit size: 9 men, 3 teams.
MG-team: 3 CMG-3/07E2 6.5x55mm Universal Machine guns (scoped)
Grenadier-team: 3 LAR-655 /w/ HM-320 lightweight mortar-system
Engineering-team: 3 LAR-655, 3 Pave-Pointer pistols /w/ underbarrel double-barrel 12 gauge

Common PPE to unit:
3x weapon-mounted tactical laser designators/illuminators
3x Motorola field radios (headset)
1x platoon radio (hand)
1x GPS receiver
3x laser rangefinders/monoculars
3x magnetic compass (lenstatic)
9x helmet, Doron fiberglass-plate, M80. (somewhere, there's a picture of one of those stopping an SKS-bullet, and the bruise it left behind, that guy jumped on a hand-grenade)
9x Scaleable plate carriers, Doron-Silicon-carbide sandwich plates, SAPI-spec.

Note: fiberglass is toxic if ingested, please do not attempt to ingest through bullet-wound. And yes, lifejackets are pretty much bulletproof vests... only shattered...

I'd rather show you my own lineart. IF I COULD DO LINEART. BECAUSE PAINT IS BEING RIDICULOUS.

Also, who is coming on the reinforcement helicopters? I need a tally to write you up on the post.

9 mercs, if you'd like I can take them from a.. how shall I say... less cutting-edge? In which case they'll have something more along the lines of Type 81 rifles (3 carbines, 3 marksman) and RPDs (3) plus a couple of knee-mortars all wearing basic '65-71 era fatigues and a SSh-68 stalin-helm. A few lucky ones will have a doron-plate crammed down their butt-packs.

If not knee-mortar, shovel-mortar.

So, do I post? Do I post CSes for each individual?

Your group seems to be in need of light anti-armor and some sort of long-range suppressive assets like a GPMG-team more than they need the room-clearing bunch (although the latter also hauled ammo for the former).

And I assure you, the 6.5x55mm my forces use can and will shred an APC at close range.
