That's a different Survey Corp... the only thing that's the same is the name.

The ASDF Survey Corp
The Survey Corp is a special forces unit of the ASDF, numbering approximately 3000 soldiers. The unit is specialized in advanced recon, precision strikes, asymmetric (guerrilla) warfare, and unconventional warfare. They are deployed as the tip of the spear of the ASDF, and answer directly to the Defense Council, however they are given a great deal of autonomy in their operations. Only professional soldiers who have served in one of the special corps (such as one of the Rapid Response Corps and Marine Corp) of the ASDF are allowed to apply for membership in the Survey Corp.

Primary: M16A4 or SR25 for sniper missions
Secondary: Desert Eagle
Grenades: Hold standard frags and flash bangs
Specialty: PHASR (uses light to blind the enemy, and yes, this is real)
Armor: Simple bulletproof vest under camo, got to stay light to stay silent.

Biography of Warfighter: The Pottili were a group who originally united Pittastria against five other forces, (see in my fact books). The bloody war was won because of the Potilli's superior stealth and the PHASR rifle, which blinded enemies temporarily. The Pottili are extremely efficient and executed a terrorist leader a neighboring country had been harboring in just six months.

RP Experience (Example or Link): None in NS, but have in other games

Tech level: moderate as we are a new nation

Army = Army

Air Force = Air Force

Navy = Navy

Coast Guard = Border Guard

Marines = N/A

National Guard/National Police/FBI = Internal Security Agency

CIA/NSA = National Intelligence Agency

SEALs = Sentinels

Rangers = Sentinels

Force Recon = Vanguard

Third Echelon = Marshals

He means 7.62x54 Rimmed. Or "54R". The same ammo my team is using in Helios.

Our forces are also moving from a meager weapons-locker to an armory.
-IIRC, the difference between the two is an armory has a tiny gallery for checking boresight (not necessarily meant for shooting live ammunition). A locker lacks this feature.

My bad on that, I always assumed the R meant Russian since its used in a lot of Russian guns (I use it IRL for my mosin nagant M44)

Coast Guard = Servintan Coastal Guard

Marines = Naval Infantry

National Guard = Servintan Guard

National Police/FBI= The State Securitate police

CIA/NSA = Central Intelligence Directorate of Servinta

SEALs = Spezhalist Kommando Korps [13th Naval Kommandos "Sharks"]

Rangers = Servintan Spetsnaz (I could never come up with a cool and edgy name for them so I went with the standard Russian expy)

Force Recon = Spezhalist Kommando Korps [9th Scout Kommandos]

I organized them so that Vanconian Imperial is for anything that are always our waters, and Royal .... of Vancon for those who are not.

I'm the same, I've had experience with role play in othergames. Thought it was only NS that was being asked. Of course it was more a combo of 3rd and first person, only going first person occasionally.
