If it's something even relatively urban I'll be ecstatic.
Also, the group of 8 is for this reason:The Canadian format:
IC
2IC
Scout
Radio
Security x2
Supply
Medic
And for patrols It'd be:
Recon
IC
Radio
Security
Medic
2IC
Supply
Security

I have a four-man format that's slightly unbalanced due to it's size, resulting in the following:
Squad Leader(Rifleman)
Scout/Recon
Heavy Weapons
Rifleman
Operator(Off-site support)
I have four teams set up like this, but the roles change slightly so when all 20 operators are on the ground, it makes a balanced platoon, something that won't happen in the current Operation and most likely won't happen in any following op.

No, this is a bit confusing but, here we go:
This is the home thread, the one we're on, then we have two ops going on.
The first one is called Tactical Convention, which is in a way a computer simulation where our operators fight, that one's been cancelled fro now.
The other one is Operation Olympia, where the operators are going to take down a person of interest after he captured some fellow operators. That's the one I'm talking about.

Can I get in on the action in either of the two RPs?

Tactical Convention's currently on hold, so most likely you could be lol'd in.
Olympia's pretty much under way, so most likely not, so you'd have to wait until NEC's next op, which is apparently Serbia/Ukraine.

Well then, mind if I issue an MICV with my support team (eliminating need to actually carry the ACSW) so they won't have to leg it?
Preffered ground vehicle was the HT-101 line, but due to NS-wide unfamiliarity with it as of late the Chinese Type 85 or Type 89 will do fine.
*Preparation of forces intensifies*
I can gut the unit down to three trireme-sized fireteams, making it a 9-man section like a normal unit.

Tier One units will swim through blood, crawl through mud, and sprint through fire. Task Force Atlas only accepts the best.
As you can see, we're all riding in farmers' vehicles with... 'mud' all over the floor.

I did mention this one PMT RP I was in, where a nation was planning to base their entire defensive-grid around a sapient computer that looked like a little girl...
So we kidnapped the girl right from under their own defensive network, and shot their prime-minister on the way out.

Biography of Warfighter: As Vancon crept into the place of a world superpower due to it's large income from vast amounts of mining, a new force was commissioned to deal with the looming threat of eco-terrorists and like minded individuals. Slowly the force developed into a fully fledged military group. Normally they are a home defense weapon but with time, many detachments joined the foreign legions, to deal with threats that are above and beyond the average enemy. They are trained mostly for hostage rescue and urban warfare, seeing as Vancon's capital, Provincia is very urbanized.
Even though they are a military group, ERT specializes in rescue and field medicine. They need to be able to treat a victim to the utmost of their ability, thus necessitating a large medical supply.
ERT will occasionaly be functioning independently of the main army in the middle of a warzone, perhaps in search of a downed pilot. They'll need both protection from the elements and ease of communication to and fro base, thus requiring the Supply and Radio roles.
Recon is there to both spearhead the charge and to find a position to provide over-watch from an exceptional vantage point. From said point, he or she'll be able to spot targets approaching their team's location, and tell them to act accordingly.
The Security roles, better known as a Security Team, are to protect the rest of the team with both suppressive fire and general assistance, such as if there is no enemies, a security member will help the medic apply pressure to a comrade's wound.
The 2IC acts as both the IC's connection to his team and the commander of Fireteam 2 (Medic, 2IC, Supply, Security). If the IC is incapacitated, the 2IC must take over. Therefore if the leader does go down, the chain of command shall stay the same.
The IC's duty is to lead his or her team to victory, be it saving a wounded child to relieving a mad dictator from their position. He comes up with the plans and swiftly gets them done. He is responsible for the teams combat readiness and their well-being.
To enlist, a soldier must volunteer and have an officer vouch for them. Anyone can volunteer and apply, but chances are that the inexperienced will not pass. Once all is said and done, they go through numerous courses such as but not limited to:
-Advanced Evade and Escape
-Advanced Marksmanship Course
-Advanced Communications & Codes
-Advanced Tracking
-Basic Field Medicine
-Basic Pursuit Driving
Upon completion, they are deployed to an active team for on-the-job training.

Much, much better! I dunno about anti-IR camouflage, but I think there are camo patterns out there which disrupt it a bet, like US4CEs.
Accepted. Although I would like a picture of their weaponry. Not required, but I do enjoy looking at nations' weapons.
